Change of options PDF in IE vs Adobe Reader 9.1

I just finished a piece of responses with text fields, and radio buttons.  I CLEARLY FORM, SUBMIT, SAVE AS, PRINT the buttons at the bottom.  When this opening file from a website, my computer (Vista Home Premium and Adobe Acrobat Professional and Adobe Reader 9.1) open the .pdf file in Internet Explorer and I can do everything with the buttons they say will happen.  I can record the full form.  I can email the entire form. Print. Clear form.    When I open the same file with an old computer (XP SP3 and has Adobe Reader 9.1) it opens the form in Adobe Reader 9.1, I'm only able to save a blank form. a popup warning said that only the entered data will be sent.

ON ALL COMPUTERS, preferences of ADOBE READER 9.1 internet PROGRAMS ARE PUT to OPEN PDF FILES WITH IE, but the computer XP always opens the PDF in Adobe Reader 9.1 and the functionality of the form are limited as noted above.   It seems that anyone with Adobe Acrobat Professional can make the form work correctly.  Anyone who comes to Adobe Reader 9.1 is limited by the form.

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS?

You cannot save a form and the data to the reader unless it has been activated with the rights of the player. It is an extra step. You don't need to save the form to submit data. In the designer, the data is sent in XML format. In Acrobat forms, submit the data in FDF format of XFDF, XML or HTML. XML and FDF can be imported into the form so you can see what the user saw when the form has been sent. If you enable the rights of the player, you can probably run within the limits set in the license agreement. Read the EULA, section 15, before you go off and know you might violate the license.

I guess that your presentation is by e-mail the way it sounds. Know who has many problems and is not a reliable method for the submission of the form. If you make forms for a company, you probably wouldn't turn on the rights of the reader and want to submit data to a web script to avoid email problems - otherwise you could check customers and sink them.

    In order to change the default reader for PDF files do the following (this is if you do not want to use the built-in Firefox PDF reader):

    1. Go to Tools > Options (or Firefox > Options).
    2. In the Options window, select the Applications tab.
    3. In the Search box, type PDF. You should find Portable Document Format (PDF).
    4. On the right referring, you should find a column of Action . To select your favorite PDF reader. In order to view PDFs in Firefox, choose Preview in Firefox.

    I've recently upgraded to Adobe Reader DC on my pc with Windows 8 and can convert most PDF's into Word documents. I am sent on the Acrobat subscription page. There is no option to use the service to export it to Adobe PDF format so that I paid. Does anyone have a solution to this?

    Please make sure that you are logged with your username in CD player.

    Also please try exporting PDF to word by going to this link: https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf by logging in with your adobe ID.

    Please note that the player in the only used view, comment on and sign a PDF file and not for editing. To modify a PDF file, you will need Adobe Acrobat.

    We need set certain general conditions in PDF format in your emails (send to a few thousand people), but want to include an option to download adobe reader to read the PDF file if they didn't already have one.

    Is it a simple "link to the download page" or is it a widget/code or something that already exists for this? Just to make it quick and easy for readers to e-mail

    Try opening the PDF via Adobe Reader file menu, double-click on the PDF file instead. If it works, the problem is probably with the file association settings.

    The free software Adobe Reader doesn't have editing tools.

    To do this, you can buy Acrobat.

  • PDF files opens with Adobe Reader.

    When I double click on a file PDF Adobe Reader opens to a blank screen for a few seconds and then closes.  The same files open fine with Expert PDF software.

    Three things to try...

    1. Using Windows Explorer navigate to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader, and then double-click Eula.exe and accept the license agreement
    2. You can open Adobe Reader by itself?  If so, try to disable the Protected Mode [Edit |] Preferences | (Improved) security].

  • Cannot open .pdfs via Outlook or Adobe Reader, impossible to open Adobe Reader, it is impossible to uninstall!

    We have a new office that will not open .pdfs or open Adobe Reader.  The version on the computer is 9.5.2.  When I try to install the updates or install Adobe XI, the installation process stops before the end because he said that Adobe 9.5 is currently open.  But we cannot open Adobe 9.5, and the Task Manager does not appear even the program as being open.

    Due to the way in which we use our Document management system, if we want to search through multiple or large files stored in our DMS PDF we merge PDF together and create an embedded index. This works perfectly well, when you open the PDF file in Adobe Reader standalone. Enter a particular term can bring 100 hits (very quickly) in the Adobe Reader search results pane.

    However, if we launch the PDF with Adobe Reader in Internet Explorer (any version), enter a term to search (contained in document) only get one result, that of the file name of the document itself.

    Unfortunately most of our users will access our DMS documents with internal links.

    Any ideas greatly appreciated.

    It is a problem with Reader 8. You must use that...

    Using Reader 9. It will work well with it.

  • Conversion from PDF to Word in Adobe Reader Pro XI

    Hello

    I am a common user of the above function and for some reason it doesn't work anymore for me.

    When I try and convert a PDF file to word, there is a read error "the specified file cannot be written to. "It may be currently in use".

    It's strange, I have closed all other documents and restarted my computer several times but the problem persists.

    The problem is not specific to a single PDF document that I tried several conversion this morning without success.

    Also, when I try and open word documents that have recently been converted to PDF, I am unable to get into the document. MS Word reads the following error message:
    "The file open XML"NAME OF THE DOCUMENT... "Cannot open docx" because there are problems with the content or file name may contain characters that are not valid (for example, /-).

    I note the file name of the document has no of '-' or ' / ' in the name.
    Could you please tell what I need to do.
