  I was screwing the toolbar options, trying (unsuccessfully!) back to the layout of the toolbar, I had before that Firefox has been upgraded automatically (without my permission!).   So, I was pretty upset by it. I found myself constantly opening new tabs by accident when all I wanted to do was minimize with double click as I always had. But I have solved this problem.

  1. click on the tab from the menu to the far right on the top
  2. click on the [+ customize] button at the bottom of the menu
  3. click on [the title bar] in the lower left corner.

  That's all. Your title bar is back and you can double click to minimize your browser do you have for the last decade or two!
