Change the name of the author of markup (AutoVue DD)

Hello

I'm changing the name of the author when creating annotations with AutoVue Desktop Deployment (he is a must). I've implemented features custom events (for example, ONOPENFILE) by using the code examples provided in the documentation. For now, if I create a markup, AutoVue automatically the name value in the author than my Windows connected username (I guess). Is there a way I can change this behavior so that I can put the name of the author by programming? Or put on a file or something?

Thanks in advance.

The user name that appears on your markup is the windows user or if connected to a DMS DMS login name (use case of CS)

Change it, is not supported

I want to change my name to "Kevin" in 'Kevin Stecyk' as the author on my reminder.

I tried to open the Panel annotations and right mouse clicking on the Sticky Note. Unfortunately, "Kevin" is in gray and cannot be changed.

When I create a reminder, I can right mouse click on the Sticky Note and change the name of Kevin Stecyk. However, on the next note, I'm back to just Kevin. I can even change my name and select 'Use default properties'. Yet once, once I have create a new Sticky Note, I'm back to just Kevin.

How can I change the author for reminder (and other) property and have this change stick?

-Go to Edit - Preferences - comments and uncheck the box that says "Always".

use name of log-in for the name of the author.

    -Restart Acrobat.

-Create a new comment, edit and set it as the new default value.

  • Change the author of several pdf both

I can easily change the author of a pdf document, but I need to change the author of several pdf and making one is boring.

Same feature is available in Acrobat X Pro. Before that, you need to use the batch processing tools.

  • How to change the author notices for all documents?

I just discovered the Note tool in Photoshop, which I think will be very useful to our society we are working a lot on projects.

In my view, there is a way to add an author to individual notes, but there is nowhere to set the author for all future notes you create. This means that I have to put my name as the author on all notes whenever I'm doing a. It's rather inefficient.

I searched for a way to set the author on a global scale in Photoshop, but could not find. Most programs programs for editing or commenting interfaces include this setting - Acrobat and Microsoft Office are the first to come to mind. I looked under preferences and found nothing and I have also tried all closing documents and enter my name as author, but Photoshop did not remember it the next time I tried to add a note.

Does anyone know how to configure this? Or is it just that Adobe omis/forgot to include this feature?

I also tried all closing documents and enter my name as author, but Photoshop did not remember it the next time I tried to add a note.

Works for me, would there be a permissions problem?

Could you post a screenshot with all images, closed and the visible Options bar?

  • PowerCLI to change the authorized strategy of firewall for ip addresses

I need to change the Firewall setting ESXi allow connections from any IP address to a list of networks.

Using the get-esxcli cmdlet can I put the ip address is to be used.

    (Get-VMHost $esxhost)
    $esxcli = get-EsxCli - VMHost $esxhost

    $esxcli.network.firewall.ruleset.allowedip.add ("172.16.29.0/24", "sshServer")

The question I have is to run the above, I firstly need to go in vcenter and manually change the Firewall setting for all IPs to only these ip.

When I put my $esxcli and run: $esxcli.network.firewall.ruleset.set

    It is the output:

    TypeNameOfValue: VMware.VimAutomation.ViCore.Util10Ps.EsxCliExtensionMethod

    OverloadDefinitions: (boolean allowedall, boolean active, string rulesetid) set {boolean}

    MemberType: CodeMethod

Value: boolean set (boolean allowedall, boolean active, string rulesetid)

    Name: set

    IsInstance: true

I think its possible to change the permit for people with disabilities, but I can't understand what they mean by that together (boolean allowedall, boolean active, string rulesetid).  I understand that the rulesetid string is sshServer, but what do they mean with Boolean allowedall?

Has anyone ever done this before?

You pass a Boolean value ($true or $false) and allowedall, this means

    • $true: all IP addresses are allowed
    • $false: only the IP addresses in the IP list are allowed

See the documentation for network esxcli commands for the meaning of these parameters.

I conclude by commenting on a .pdf document and I would need to change the name of my comments / notes. Is it possible to make faster and by editing one by one? Thanks for the tips!

  • Help - I've changed the DHCP settings and cut me my router!

In my lame attempt to improve the security on my router (WRT54GS), I changed the authorized number of users from 50 to 4 DHCP.  As soon as I clicked 'Save Settings' systematically, I have disabled access to all computers in the home router, and now I can even get into the router to restore.  GRR!  Until I touch anything else, I wanted to tender hand for help.  Anyone?

Hmmm, well, if I had to guess I bet that you did not press and hold the reset button in the back for at least 30 seconds, and then turn on the cycle of the router.  A brief press of the button will not perform a hard reset.  So, how do you "reset").

Wireless security can be found here.  Choose what level you want.  Glad you got it going.

When I installed the latest Adobe Reader (DC), I lost my identity as a reviewer/comment author. How can I change the name of the author of the value by default "hand" to my real name?

    Hi rosed73111682,

This is not a simple one step process. There are a few steps that need to be done before this is resolved.

    • Change the "Edit = > preferences-online comments" to allow the use of one name other than the name of connection.
    • Create a comment and change the desired name.
    • Set the properties for the commentary to the default property.

If your organization is centrally install Acrobat/Reader, you can set preferences for the application to allow to use a name other than the name of connection.

Help the link How to change my name to review the comments on a PDF (review and comment).

  • Change of name of the owner in EOS 5 d camera

I need to change the name of the owner in my trusty EOS 5 d.  If I understand correctly, this is possible with the Canon EOS Utility.  (Change the name of the owner of the camera allows me to add the name of the author, also, in the case where an image is processed without adding all the valuable metadata.)

I am currently using EOS Utility version 2.13.10.  I see my EOS 5 d MKII camera with no problem, and I can change the owner of camera information.

Unfortunately, I do not see my 5 d in the EOS Utility.  I use a Mac Book Pro running OS 10.6.8.

I can, however, pull captive in Capture One, but not of Adobe Lightroom. We are all aware of the many combinations of cameras and software applications and their compatibility - I was hunting this for years.

So... Does EOS Utility 2.13.10 version does NOT work with a Canon EOS 5 d? What I have to revert to a previous version to make it work?

    Thank you.

  • Changing the name of the vendor links to keys

Hello, I recently changed my name from the seller of my personal name to my company name. Code signing keys I still seem to be registered in my personal name (which can be found for example in the token of debugging on the Playbook). Is it possible to update that too?

    For reference, I have the files author.p12, barsigner.csk, barsigner.db, customer-COMINCO-* .csj, * .csj-RDK-client

Yes, this can be done.  First, back up your keys: backup and restore BlackBerry Code signing keys

Then rename/delete your file author.p12 existing and create a new one with your new company name.  Do NOT delete the barsigner files.  If you need help creating a new p12 file let me know what SDK you are using.

  • How can I change the name of connection in acrobat reader, so that my comments be in name I chose?

    In adobe acrobat reader:

    Preferences > identify

    Login name:

    name:

    title

    etc...

The login name is used to comment & digital signatures, and I can't change it because the deposited text is read-only.

where can I change the name? It automatically takes the name of the computer, even if I changed the name of the computer to a name I like, but the old name of the computer.

    thanx

    :-)

    Hey ilx2,

You could right-click on a comment and choose Properties.

Then, open the general tab and change the name on the label of the author.

You can tick "Make default properties" option so that all the comments show the same name of the author.

    Hope that helps.

    Kind regards
