check for oracle apex of validation 5.0
Hello
I use oracle apex 5.0. I have a problem when it comes to Validations.
I used a blank in it two static region an address and one for the text elements. So, basically static region (a) a address in it and select the button called. If I click on the "Select" button, then the address will pass to the second static region based on the id.
text element 7 I used.
When you click on the button select associate address fields will be filled with good values. present all the text elements are Disable means that you can change. You can read only, so far its working fine.
Now on the same region I have 1 button of Validation checking and redirecting to another page in the application.
What I tried.
Action button: Submit Page
Branch created to redirect
The apex of the Validation process integrated.
-----------
Also created DA to Submit page.

Need advice
Thank you

so, how to read-only
If they are always read-only, then change the items and set the attributes of the HTML Form element (the component view) /custom attributes (Page Designer) property read- only.
If it is necessary to be dynamic, and then create a dynamic action to run the JavaScript Code that defines the attribute using jQuery prop
method:$('#ITEM_NAME').prop('readonly', true);

Hello
I use Oracle Apex 4.01 in Oracle 10 g.
I am trying to create a page of Apex, sort of time table system. In this page I have 3 text items field and the other two are date fields. and two buttons.
You must submit (B1) and the other is to add any folder (B2).
My job is if I press the add another button to record (B2) then a new line with the same types of items (3 items) must be created in the page and if I press this button once again and then a new line with the same elements must be created on the page and so on.
Example of
The initial Page view: Point 1, Item2, Item3 B1, B2
When you press B2: point 1, Item2, Item3
Article 1, Item2, Item3 B1, B2
When B2 press again: point 1, Item2, Item3
Article 1, Item2, Item3
Article 1, Item2, Item3 B1, B2
so now...
Finally if I press send, but all the values I entered must be stored in the table.
Example, if I press the B2 3 times and press B1, then these 3 records are stored in the table.
Can someone tell me please how to do this in the Apex.
Thank you
RikRik,
It looks like the basic functionality of the tabular presentation.

Implementation for Oracle Apex 4.1 SSL
Hi guys,.
I'm a little confused on how to proceed with the encryption SSL with APEX. Throughout I've been running it as embedded Pl/SQL. SSL emerged as a requirement, but now I have to climb an Apache HTTP server that must be configured for SSL.
I had look online to download the HTTP server but fell on Application Server 10 G R3 after going through several links in the Oracle documentation.
http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/IAS/downloads/index.html
I don't know what to download to my goal. What I want is an HTTP server that I can configure for SSL and have it work with APEX. If someone does something like this, would be great if you could point me to good sense. See you soon.
Windows 7
Apex 4.1 running on integrated Gateway plsql
Oracle 11G XEHello
You can also use Tomcat to deploy the earpiece of the APEX.
http://dbswh.webhop.NET/dbswh/f?p=blog:read:0:article:2000
And you can also use Apache and mod_jk with for example Tomcat

Political life support Oracle APEX 5/ADR 3
I looked at all at the time of the strategy paper of Oracle support to life
I'm curious to know if/when this will be updated with the latest versions of the APEX and ADR
Hi Matt,
I think it was an oversight that the current version of the document Oracle Lifetime Support policy does not include the latest version of Oracle APEX 5.0. The revised version, which I believe is set for publication by the end of July, he'll understand. In the meantime, you can refer to our RTO page for the latest information of support policy to life for Oracle APEX, accessible via the learn more > guarantee section: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/apex/learnmore/apex-support-1866620.html.
I have contacted the team development of ADR, to report missing information for ADR 3.0 on the document and I am sure that this issue will be resolved as soon as possible.
Kind regards
Hilary

How to check if the value of text is in a view accessor? How can I check for validation?
Hi Experts ADF,
JDeveloper 12.1.1.3.0
I have a VO with a Segment1 column. And I have an accessor in my VO as SegmentVA which contains all the numbers.
So in the user interface, I'm having a Segment1 as an inputText. The user should then enter values in inputText. How can I check to validate that the value you enter must be valid within the ViewAccessor.
Thank you
Animesh
You can use a declarative approach and define the Validation rule on EO attribute.
Or you can create the method in your ViewObjectImpl class, expose this method as a customer interface, create custom for your input field validator and invoke the VO method from there.

Huge success in Oracle HTTP Server for Application Apex
Hello
I've been running several applications in the same database in Apex 4.2.2. I use Oracle HTTP Server 10.2 for web access to customers. I have 4000 users in systems, but at the same time can be logged 500. Server Web is in DMZ, and database server's internal network. We notice that we conduct page huge hit in the system, very high. I noticed a client IP had 44 000 visits in one day and on a daily basis any number of access is 500 000 to 600 000. That is for me, it's huge. This huge success makes the firewall close the connection to the web server. This disturbance is causing the company a lot.
I would like to know how Oracle Apex communicates with the web server and clients, is the mechanism of Oracle Apex which causes this huge success or is it for external cause, such as a DoS attack or something like that. I'm really exhausted with it. Don't know what to do. Help, please
Hasan Al Mamun
Hi I have kind of a resolved / by past the problem. Now, I have no connection to the bottom of the problem. The problem was. Subdomain (say myapp.testlab.com) of my app had a single IP address, router treated the huge success of the same IP address as a threat and that's why router blocked the real IP of this subdomain. We did it, we asked our dns provider to add a few more (5) IPs for the same subdomain. Now, as dns selects a single IP among 5 fps in alternating single IP does not get as much success as to be blocked by the router. It works better now. Cordially Hasan Al Mamun

How to check for optional Oracle 10 g 2 installed components?
Hello
How can I get a list of oracle all optional components/functions installed database (some of them may require additional license)? I was going through a list of the directory objects in a database and I spotted "ORACLE_OCM_CONFIG_DIR" in one of the databases (others don't have it). When I checked, it turned out to be a directory required for Oracle Configuration Manager (it's maybe even a completely separate installation).
I have to configure a new oracle database server where I have to install everything that is installed on an existing one.
Oracle 10 g 2 - RHEL 5.8
Please advise!
Best regards
Hello
http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E11882_01/server.112/e24448/statviews_4208.htm
DBA_REGISTRY displays information about all of the components in the database that are loaded in the registry of the component.
If this view lists the components loaded into the database... Well according to the docs of Oracle anyway.
How to check to see if the CMO is installed must:
http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E12482_01/doc.103/e12481/ccrqs.htm
Navigate to the ccr/bin directory and locate the emCCR file. If emCCR exists, the CMO has been configured.
Don't think that you can get this information from a view.

How to reset the password for the oracle apex 4.1
Hi all
I forgot my password of oracle apex how do reset it please, my version is 4.1
Thank youHello
I think that you have reached the wrong forum for your question, because it is dedicated to specific questions for the Oracel Database XE. Have your post would fit better {forum: id = 137}
Anyway, your question can be easily answered: there is a script for resseting your password in the APEX installation package you used when you upgrade your APEX 4.1. See the corresponding section in the [url http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23903_01/doc/doc.41/e21673/otn_install.htm#BABDEAFD]APEX Setup Guide for more details.-Udo

How do I run the exp for the backup command in Oracle APEX 4.0
Hello!
I use APEX 4.0 with Oracle R11i. For the daily backup, I have to use the procedure "CMD". Is it possible to run this script "EXP" through a BUTTON or something in Oracle APEX 4.0
Are you looking for a quick answer
Kind regardsThe short answer is: No.
exp is a command line (DOS) and due to browser restrictions/security, you can't run a command from a browser (malicious website would like this feature, run "format c: /" browser...). -
Unique name for a page element validation.
Hello. I have 2 items on the page: P2_DNAME and P2_LOCATION. Both are text fields. What I want to do, is that I need to create a validation. The P2_DNAME field must be unique. When entered a value in this field, he must check with the DEPT table and make sure there unique name.
To achieve this, I created a name Unique service name validation. Who checks with the query "select 1 of the Department where dname =: P2_DNAME' and throws an error message." This validation is also executed when the user clicks the submit button. But I want that it will be executed when the user moves to the next field.
My validation also does not work. I reproduced it in oracle apex.com

Can someone please review and tell me what I'm missing?
Hello
Please, take this as a guideline how do it, not as a solution. You can for example create another 'helper' and return the result of your posting in routine (instead of the actual input box), and then you can create appropriate dynamic actions that handle the change event of the article that you return your result of validation. To be more precise...
Create an element of P1_DEPT_VALIDATION_RESULT, in your PL/SQL code, assign a value to it according to the DEPT_COUNT as
if dept_count = 0 then :p1_dept_validation_result := 'valid'; else :p1_dept_validation_result := 'invalid'; end if;
and add this in the field "Article (s) to return". Then manage its change event (just change event cannot be removed, so don't forget to switch the button to "Suppress the event" non).

How to add data to the table using Manager POST for restful Apex application
Hi all
I managed to create a service application web Manager restful using GET for the Restful service module. I am able to get the data in row on the presentation of a table row id in the application. But I can't find an appropriate example, how the new data in the table can be posted or deleted. I created a POST handler for a URI scheme and look forward on how to proceed. Any help would be really appreciated.
Source for the POST Manager:
Start
insert into ALL_BOOKS values(:id,:book);
end;
Also created 2 parameters id and the book.

Check out the following tutorials OBE, that explains the creation of GET and POST RESTful Web Services and how to use them in the APEX.
- Creation and use of RESTful Web application services Express 4.2
- Creation and use of RESTful Web application services Express 5.0
Also what yo mean "looking forward on how to proceed? Do you want to or created for use/consume in your Oracle APEX application hosted RESTful web services?
If Yes, in your Application, you must create a RESTful Web Service reference -> shared components. Then, create a form/report based on Web Service reference.
Kind regards
