  I have problems using the processor to check the value in Disqualification. I want to check the customer name field for how many names contain 'TEST' in them. Here are the steps I follow, I hope that someone can identify where I'm wrong:

  1. Add checking the value

  2. in the ATTRIBUTES tab, add "Customer Name" as the field of Validation

  3. in the OPTIONS tab, add 'TEST' as against value to compare files, choose "is equal to", as the comparison operator, select 'Yes' to Ignore Case.

  In reviewing the data, I see many instances where TEST is in the name of customer - but the value record tells me that there is no example of this.

  Have I missed something obvious/fast?

  Checking the value does not have a check Contains. Use the list check with the Contains option for this.

  You can press F1 on each processor for its help page if you are not sure about what he does.

  Then I used my disc XP Home (SP2) update.  I, immediately after the upgrade to Windows XP, installed "Office XP with Frontpage, Developer Edition", then Norton 2012 before never connect to the internet.
  Then, I connected to the internet and continuously update of Norton, before ever hitting the Windows Update page. The first thing I did then was to activate Windows, and then activate the office.
  Then I hit the update of Windows "button" that says "get all your updates in one place... upgraded"Microsoft Update".  I, then, just kept hitting the page update and restart, until I find the SP3.  Then, I took a break, until the next day.
   
  I have an ADSL broadband, with a Linksys EtherFast PCI card.
   
  Then I got SP3, which installed without any problems.
  So I just kept "microsoft continuous update" manually (and reboot), until there is no more updates - EXCEPT, I always uncheck Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool - which was the only screening at the final stop for the night.  I think that I ticked the box "don't ask me about this update".
   
  Then, in the morning, after you have enabled automatic updates, I noticed the yellow shield - Windows security icon (or whatever it's called), so I clicked on it and checked it was tellimg me was available [when I checked "Custom Install (advanced users)"].  What showed was 1 update - 955759 KB.
   
  After the problem, already at the reformat (months and months), see the yellow shield telling me there are updates available, which were already installed (before rebooting), I checked manually on the internet with IE 8, pressing alt, "T", "U".  There is no updated list.  Then I checked through my history of update (twice), and KB955759 had not been installed.
   
  My update setting is to let windows download ('important') updates, but let me choose when to install them.
   
   
   
  What is the right - Windows Update (NO update important reporting) Site, or the yellow shield (reports [a] kb955759 [update])?

  Just for the heck of it, I have disabled the automatic updates, cleared my browser cache, checked manually, updates from microsoft (windows) and found none (with the exception of software malware removal tool windows [which I have not installed]).  Then, I turned the automatic updates on, and without even being connected to the internet, the yellow shield popped up with the kb955759 "update"...

  1. stop the automatic updates service:

  Start > run > (type or copy/paste) services.msc > click OK
  Double-click automatic updates > click stop
  (Stopping the service will take a moment)

  2 remove the contents of the download folder:

  Start > run > (type or copy/paste) %windir%\SoftwareDistribution > click OK
  
  Open the download folder and delete its content
  Close the window.

  3. start the automatic updates service:

  Start > run > (type or copy/paste) services.msc > click OK
  Double-click automatic updates > click Start
  (Starting the service will take a moment)

  1. open Internet Explorer (only!) to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/910336 [don't know the titles, etc..]

  2. make disappear/close the Troubleshooter automatically pop up.

  I save several movies with Captivate 3 and publish as Flash (SWF) files. I load this film into a Flash application using the class public AS3 Loader (see attached code). Also I create custom playback controls in this Flash animation. I test this regular flash movies loading technique and it works very well. But loading films Captivate, I can't control the movie because I had a Null object reference error, the worst is that I can't unload the first film when trying to load a second.
  
  As output is getting a lot of "onLoad = null m_movie.

• Worth checking the value of the field date with formcalc

  Hi, my apologies if this was requested. I found some discussions in the forums that deal with issues similar to the search, but the solutions did not help me any so I decided to start a new discussion.

  I have a field called date1 and I have a field called rate. Quite simply, all I want to do is determine the default value which is held at rates based on the question to know if date1 is set before the 01/07/2011.

  Here is what I tried with no luck.

  If (Date2Num (form1. #subform [0].)) Table1.row2.Date1.FormattedValue, ' DD/MM/YYYY') > = ' 01/07/2011 ") then '.

  I also tried several other pieces of code, including a java script with no luck. I have to assume that my mistake is somewhere in the way that the field "compares" the datefield with the value that specify in the formula.

  The function Date2NUm will return you the number of seconds that have elapsed since the time, so you will need to compare the number of seconds that have elapsed since the era for 01/07/2011... .so

  I have a QUERY with id (queryId1) in which I filter data in a table based on search criteria. The search name of the employee.

  I would like to take this [Input Text with LOV] element value and use it in a method (the method 'myMethod' is a bean called 'myBean'). The method must also check for a NULL value value. If no criteria have been entered, (in other words, the value is NULL), an exception should be thrown. Otherwise a popup should be displayed showing the name of the selected employee.

  I should mention that I'm rather new to ADF (experience of the 1 month!) but I tried to get this working put in place three days without success. I've been all over the internet, but my lack of understanding is perhaps to my disadvantage. I was wondering if someone here might be able to send me a link on how to do so, or explain in detail how this can be done. I have also sought tutorials on YouTube but have found none.

  I work with JDeveloper Version 11.1.2.1.0

  I use JDeveloper version 11.1.2.3.0

  I am currently trying to get the filtered data to a VO, based on a WHERE clause with a variable binding. This process must be done on the loading of the page. I have set this variable for liaison with the id of the logged in user (the part to get this id is already reached and used somewhere else). My current approach is to define a bean managed with scope pageFlow. Inside of this, I have a method in which I get the id and I put it as parameter. The code snippet:

  Then I call this method on BeforePhase in the view of the page. It works, I get the filtered data and the println shows me the correct ID. The problem is that whenever I select a row in the table showing the data, the page seems to reload and it always reload the selection at the forefront.

  What I am doing wrong? Maybe this isn't the right approach, that I saw a few other posts on this topic, but they are not very clear to me.

  OK, that's what I did. I created the method to set the value of the variable to bind to the query of the VO in the AppModule instead of inside the bean (this method also runs the query) and client presentation to the interface. After I have created the method call in the section of links the pagedef (where he gets the value of the id of the bean in the original post), and followed Cvele_new_account suggestion, calling the method as follows:

  In my model, the values displayed by the selectManyCheckbox according to a selectonechoice. I did it with a LOV model and it works well.
  Values of selectManyCheckbox are the options that a user can check or uncheck. If it is enabled the application to enter a value in a database table says MN. If unckeched, the application deletes this record.
  
  All this works fine, but my problem is that when the application is loaded initially, or you click a new parent, values available in the selectManyCheckbox record is updated correctly, but they are not checked and not verified according to the values of database table MN.
  
  Is there a way to tell the selectManyCheckbox what values should be checked or unchecked whenever it refreshes?

  If you have 2 simple tables. One called "Table1", and another table used to fill a LOV called "Table2" can LOV display a list of the missing items in table 1? If so how would that be? Let's say that the LOV table consisted of two fields, a field called 'ID' and a field called 'Document '. The 'Document' field would be the display value and the 'ID' field would be the return value. The first table 'Table 1' would be the value returned by the username returned by V ('APP_USER') and 'ID'.
  
  What would be the SQL to watch 'Table1' and display only the records for V("APP_USER') in the LOV that do not yet exist in 'Table1 '?

  Table 1 lists the documents that a user has created, and then you want a LOV to see a list of the documents that the user is still to create. To do this, you need some sort of logic that determines a precise list of the documents that a user must create. This could be done by a table of the required documents and then the list could be created simply by using a set operation, i.e. with a negative statement

  Select annual, required_docs doc_desc
  less
  Select annual, doc_desc from created_docs where created_by =: APP_USER.

  In a well-designed application, it would be a little more sophisticated than that, but I hope you get the idea. As I said earlier, you may need to take a step back and learn a little more about relational database design.
