• Impossible to get to work when exporting to PDF page transitions

  Hi all

  I tried to apply page transitions to a document that I realized. I tried to apply the two side of the cover and push passes to each Board in the booklet but when I export to PDF does not work with either, I've seen full screen in Acrobat Reader DC, DC Acrobat and Foxit reader with no joy. With this in mind, I think it might be something to do with how I export as much research, that I've done was referenced InDesign CS6 was so different from what I look at in InDesign CC. Can anyone advise me as to what I can hurt?

  Rob, do not mix the pages to create a distributed 1 & 2 for that to happen. You can start the document with a single page. You can place an image (#999999) to the left of the first page. Make sure that the framework is broad enough to cover this dead zone and it touches the first page.

  Hello. I'm still reviewing the evidence against the tests sent to PDF print PDF. I've tried compare it he run Acrobat, but it never seems to work right. What I want to do is to combine PDF files in such a way that the first page of the PDF B comes after the first page of the PDF A and so on... so it would look like this:

  A1 B1 A2 B2 A3 B3 etc...

  That way I can just flip through the document and see if something changes. I currently ask 2 PDF Windows on the other and use a windowshade feature in order to compare.

• CS6 InDesign DPS change page transition animation

  Hello

  If I understand correctly, the default setting for the transition animation between pages of a publication of DPS (when we look through the viewer of content on desktop or tablet computer) is a slick sliding movement between login pages (horizontally or vertically). However, I was wondering that if this style of page transition can be changed to something a little more old school, like an instant change on the next page, no landslide in question? Very little like the "back" or "forward" buttons work on our internet browsers - you click on them and they instantly load the previous page you were on, no sliding.

  Only way would be with buttons.

  APEX 4.2, you can set the Page Transitions on the topic and/or the Page level. But everything I get, the transition is still the same (right blade).
  Is this a bug or a parameter missing in a model - or something else...?

  What I did is to change the default transition from the sample application (topic 50) to use the "Flow". This transition could work only in Safari/iPad.

  But you are right that the level of page setting works only if it is the first page. I'll take a look if we can change this for the production version.

• InDesign CS 6 Page transitions

  I am creating buttons invisible page 'previous' and 'next' for an interactive PDF with each button with another transition. For example, the 'next page' button would use the 'Wipe' with the 'left' direction setting and the button "Previous Page" using the "Wipe" with setting the "right" direction. My problem is that its not allow me to set different on each button. I created some docs with these exact options in the past without any problems until recently. Can someone provide me with a solution or a reason I can't separate the transitions?

  Steve is correct; page transitions are not applied to the buttons. If you want different transitions on odd and even pages in the Pages panel, select all odd pages and apply a transition using the Pages panel menu. Then invert your selection, (select all odd pages) and apply the other transition in the Pages panel menu.

  Export PDF interactive ast and set it to open full screen, with transitions of page 'of the document.

  I just did a quick experiment here to confirm that it works. My experience included the prev/next buttons, transitions work as you want it with or without buttons but still once, transitions and the buttons are not related.

  I'm trying Muse and I love it. I feel that this is the answer to my prayers and I wish I had discovered earlier. However, I feel a little out of my depth when it comes to doing things with the code. I know a little HTML, because I come from a background of wordpress.

  I need a fade out / fade in transition on all of my pages to hide the heavy image site until the images are loaded. It will make the site live a slicker bunch with that in place. I was wondering if this was possible natively with Muse? I can't find a definitive answer on this point - but I'm afraid that the answer is no! If I'm not mistaken, is that someone could lend an idea as to whether I can implement this fairly easily?

  I don't mind editing HTML and CSS and add a bit of Javascript once the site is up, but before I create a site with fades in mind, I would like to know if this is possible, or will there be a conflict? If anyone has knowledge or experience on this subject, I would like to hear from you!

  I created an interactive pdf. Original file created by InDesignCS6. It has buttons, go to the page, page transitions, links to Web sites. Everything works perfectly as pdf full screen. But on the Web site, I lose the page transitions (which are simple wipes from left to right)

  I saw a few interactive newsletters that do everything. No idea how they are produced. These companies only ask for a static pdf to work from, so we can assume that they don't need to start from InDesign. They must be to improve the PDF with links etc, but with what software?

  Hi, I'm in Acrobat, and it occurred to me that I would have like to have page transitions affecting all areas of the page.

  For example, I have a link button at the bottom that I always want to be there. Some transitions are fine, but if I push, for example, it moves the button and brings a new in its place. Ideally, what I want to do, it's for the buttons of the static rest, but the rest of the content in the transition.

  Is not possible. Page transitions are intended for the appearance when you move from one page to the page (and only appear full-screen mode).

  The JQuery will work on more devices that the CSS, but the CSS are the way things are going with recent browsers.

  I'm looking for a way to make sure a flash video reset at startup after a page transition. For the moment that the video starts just to the place, it ended after the initial page is displayed. I found some info in the FAQ that enabkes reset components but not for Flash Video elements.

  Did the video come from? I suspect, it has been imported into SWF using Flash Professional. This is the original file, you need to bring in Flash Catalyst.

  Hi, I have a Flex application that uses several pages, along with a ViewStack. Page transition is managed by the attached function (which, according to the commentary, causes the massive memory leak). This function is called in about 40 locations throughout the Flex application. The function calls then removeAllChildren and createComponentsFromDescriptors so that the pages with forms pick up their empty, rather than having to manually go through each component in a page and give them to their initialized state. Preferably, I'd like to preserve the form reset the behavior of this function, but cut the memory leak. Any advice on what would be the best solution to this problem?

• On certain pages of Firefox gold lock is on, but the Norton toolbar does not indicate that the page is secure. On some, the opposite is true. Why is this?

  There are pages where I think that the page should be secure is starts with https:// and the lock however seems to show it's safe. However the Norton toolbar only indicates that the page is secure; It doesn't mean it's safe. Sometimes the lock is not displayed but the Norton toolbar says the page is secure. Most of the time the two indicators are okay, but I was wondering why there are moments where they are not.

  Hello! The question you have posted is really an interesting question. The following could be the reasons for this:

  • NORTON provides a security seal to the owners of Web sites. Sometimes these joints can be revoked or expire. That's when NORTON Security Toolbar will display it "Insecure". But the same site may use SSL, then Mozilla poster protection the golden padlock and identify as "Secure".
  • Sometimes, a site cannot use SSL, but to use Norton seals. While Mozilla identifies it as "Insecure" and Norton identifies as "Secure".

  Security measures could change the behavior of the different measures of protection. But as Mozilla checks the SSL certificate on the Web site (and not for any joints!), a better option would be to trust of the sites identified by the golden padlock, because it guarantees a total safety.
