  recently I came across a problem when you browse websites with Chrome. (I guess) All of a sudden my Macbook pro crashed and he did several times in a row at the start of Chrome and navigation on Web sites. This has never been a problem before. Sometimes several times in a row, but for now it works fine. (Writing this text with Chrome, while on Facebook and Youtube according to normal)

• transfer library problems FLAC in iTunes

  I just got a new MacBook Pro and I am trying to transfer my music to use with iTunes library. I used files FLAC with Foobar2000 in Windows. Now I use the 12.4.2.4 iTunes version.

  So I put on the conversion of part of my music to Apple Lossless as a test. I searched the web for instructions. Almost all of the first results in Google are at least three years, then maybe I'm not aware of more recent problems. I ended up doing this with Foobar2000, by using the encoder of the ALAC. This has produced m4a files.

  But iTunes does not recognize these files. I tried two ways.

  (1) import the existing folder to the root of my library of music together. It is always full of many files FLAC, but I was hoping that iTunes would recognize other (mp3 and m4a) files that are there now. Instead, appeared as mp3 files in my library.

  (2) change my iTunes media to be the folder file root of my existing music library (which is located on an external drive). Again, this has only recognized the mp3 files.

  I wonder if there is an error in the converted m4a files that prevents to recognize their iTunes? How can I debug my work?

  If the files are valid Apple Lossless files, iTunes will be able to import them.  I suspect that something is wrong with the release of Foobar2000.  You can try another converter, like Max.

• I can't open Gmail message when using Firefox, although I can with Chrome. New problem.

  All of a sudden I can't open Gmail messages if I'm in Firefox. The Inbox comes with all the titles of message, but when I click on any one of them I just get the title with an empty window below.
  If I'm in the Chrome browser when I use Gmail, there is no problem.
  I prefer Firefox to Chrome, but I can't use it if I can't access my Gmail messages with it. 8.0 Firefox is not in sync with Gmail?

  Thanks Yorknyc! Trying to reply to or transfer a message has not make visible to me, but I try to print he made! Then I hit like watching a few messages, and then all the problem disappeared. No idea why, but everything just happy to have all my messages visible.

• shared library problem MathScript

  I have a shared library of labview created in labview 8.2.1.  This labview dll contains a three functions, having to turn a number of mathscript embeded nodes inside of them.  The reason for their compilation in a shared library dll is because I want to call this dll of labview 7.0.  I have a test program of work created in labview 8.2.1 and labview 7.0.

  The problem I had is that these executables both run ok on my machine development, but when I move them to another machine with only the installed runtimes (7.0 and 8.2.1) labview dll function calls fail to do anything.  No errors appear, so it is very difficult to find where the problem occurs.    I have two different dll called in the example program.  The first dll just manages the file access and has not all the mathscript in bits, but the second, which is the one that I'm really interested in, has the mathscript node.  The memory usage in looking, I see it's the appeal of the file access dll but do not do the mathscript one.

  I have installed an evaluation version of labview 8.2.1 on this laptop with only the runtime, run the program and it works fine.  I think there must be something not in the dll but I don't see anything in the options to add something.  I have the mathscript check box selected in the build option.

  I know there are a number of functions that do not work with just running, but I'm not all there that use my program.

  Does anyone have advice?

  OK, I found the solution to my problem.  It was a problem with the version of the runtime that I used.  Labview CDs development is only a partial performance and include all of the files to run applications full (time to install it on his own).  Go to the website of national instruments, there is a period of standard edition which includes everything you need.  Download and install this version seem to have solved the problem.

  b. click on 'show all' and then click 'Windows Media Player library'.
  c. click 'Next' and follow the on-screen instructions.

  If this does not help, use method 2.

  Method 2:
  Database rebuild Windows media player and check. Please follow these steps:

  a. press Windows + R key, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft in the immediate window and press ENTER.
  b. Select the "Media Player" folder, right-click on it and select delete.
  c. restart Windows media player.

  Note: Windows media player automatically rebuilds the database.

• Object library problem

  This is a first post here because I can't find anything to solve my problem, I'm sure I'm right on something simple!

  There was a recent update with Livecycle Designer ES 8.2 and now my object library box is completely empty!

  I tried to restore the default items in the drop down in the library of objects, restart the PC, min/max under the drop-down window, but nothing seems to work so all my quick links (Favorites, standard and custom) are all gone from the right had side-table of the object library.

  I have a SWF (intro.swf) who shares a few Bgs for a library (sharLib.swf) common and all the contents are placed in the 2nd intro.swf keyframe.
  
  I'm loading intro.swf in the main stub. onLoadInit, I move the playhead to the 2nd keyframe by gotoAndStop (2).
  
  Here's the problem, when I check for the '_currentframe"intro.swf by an enterframe function, it shows _currentframe is '0' and nothing I can see when to publish the stub or by ctrl + enter.
  
  But when I run the stub.swf by double clicking, his works very well.
  
  What is the problem? Why the _currentframe shows "0"? and why its not working when I ctrl + enter?

  Where your iPhoto library that Library stored?  In your pictures folder, or on an external drive?  If on an external drive, how the drive is connected, and what is the file system on the disk?
