Chronology of cultures insert of the source Panel

Hello

I'm relatively new on Premier Pro and most of the time to work through the video tutorials on lynda.com, but I can't find anything (sofar) which deals with this issue.

My calendar shows no full video content inserted from the source Panel.  It's as if the video was cropped during the insertion process.  Full video, uneducated are visible in the project Panel and in the source Panel, but when I read what I inserted to the timeline, I see a cropped version (reduction of the sides up and down).

How can I adjust to get a full version of my cuts on my calendar?

Hi Ted,

Thanks for your post. You can follow either the option listed below.

You can click on the sequence, select all the clips and copy them. Then go to file/new/sequence and create a sequence according to you the clip details such as the height and width, frame rate etc. Then paste the clip in the sequence that you copied from your previous sequence in this new sequence.

If all the CIPS are of the same camera then you can Coptic old clips in sequence, as indicated above, then go to the project Panel, right-click on any of the clips and select new sequence in the clip. This will create a new sequence with this clip on the timeline. So delete this clip and paste the clip in the sequence that you copied your previous sequence in this new sequence.

Please update the post if everything goes very well

Thank you and best regards,

Vinay

    Hi Daniel,.

I can confirm this matter and will get a logged bug. It is a pain, but after having been published in the sequence, select the audio and video components, right click and select 'Link' to link the components between them. Sorry for the inconvenience.

  • Missing item in the Source Panel

To learn the basics here: I started a new project in PP 9.0.1 (36)

When I opened it the project (which had been saved) the sequence clip is still intact, but its source element is no longer in the Source Panel: "No. Clips. I was not invited to recreate a link to the media when I have opened the project.

In addition, the sequence clip is from a GoPro (1080, Protune, 60 images per second) and playback is very jerky. But when I have my SLR digital-w same reading clips res same rate-viewing a photo is smooth. GoPro and my DSLR all produce two Mp4 video files.

I'm running the new MacPro (black) 3.5 Ghz 6 - Core - with the option video upgrade

It's standard behavior.  Closing the program will unload all the clips in the Source monitor.  Doing so does not damage the project somehow, it's just the way this type of software works.  You can always load it in the Source monitor if you need to.  Generally however, once it is in the sequence you're pretty much done with this element in the Source monitor.

In the old version of first (CS4 and CS5, at least), when in the timeline panel and pressing the hotkey "m", the exact same image of the clip where ICT has been, appeared on the source Panel. I looked in the adobe forums, but I can't find the information I need.

  • To change the display Format in the Source Panel?

    Hello

I'm creating a montage in music where the cool pulse of the melody is exactly 63 frames long.

First, I want to do all my video clips for mounting either the length or a multiple of it in the Source Panel and then assemble them all like Lego blocks in the timeline in the montage master Dziga Vertov constructivist tradition.

This seems to be a standard workflow.

The film was shot in 24 frames per second.

By the screenshot below, I've changed my display of "Frames" format because it is easier to calculate the 63 frames repetitively in the source of 2 seconds and 15 Panel each time for 85 video clips.

But after you make this change below, only my Panel schedule and program display settings of this new, while my Panel source displays in minutes/seconds/images.

Is there a way to do as my source poster Panel only frames, rather than time expired in the size of the seconds/frame?

    Thank you!

Right click on the yellow screen hot text timecode in the Source monitor, and then select 'Frames '. CTRL + click will be to scroll through the available choices, too.

  • How to switch to the display of the audio waveform in the source Panel

    I use 8.1.0 (81) first Pro CC 20141 on a PC.

I am a tutorial on Lynda.com and the version used in the video is not quite as up-to-date as mine.

They recommend clicking on the list of options in the tab of the Panel from the Source to switch to more specifically audio waveform display Insert and to the point-based dialogue in the audio.

Problem is, the list of options on the Panel of my Source does not include something audio waveform.

Am I missing something? They did it move? Or maybe I have the wrong tool selected (is that a context menu which changes according to what the tool is selected?)?

    Two other options:

-Right-click in the Source monitor, select view > Audio Waveform

-In the Source monitor, click the settings... key icon (on the bottom right) and choose the Audio waveform.

  • Video editing in the source Panel and drag it into the timeline result in a video of the cropped image.

I do a music video using Premiere CS6 and spin on this issue where, after cutting a video source in the Panel of the source using the brand/out tool and using the Insert command to put it in the timeline, the image I see in the program Committee is significantly cropped (I see that almost half of the video). The source file is a .mp4. Any advice?

The you cropping experienced, it was because your pre-defined sequence does not match your images. Your film is probably 1080 and your sequence was probably 720 or similar. Using Create Sequence clip, sequence settings match your clips and no cropping wil happen.

  • Insertion of the Source monitor, assign audio sources

    Hey there

I don't know if Im doing something wrong here, but this seems counterintuitive:

I have a clip in my monitor source, with 2 Audio tracks. For some reason that the timeline has always AN Audio track selected to receive this audio, so whenever I have do a right-click and assign A2 to another track. In the FCP timeline automatically know how many channels of audio to wait.

Any ideas? I'm doing something wrong?

    Thank you

    Fede

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying, but for example. I save through the AJA cards up to 4 audio channels. The file captured watch source 4 channels and put them in a stereo track 2.

In order to separate my source channels I need to change the audio settings for this clip.

In this way, I get a separate for each microphone track.

PS, You must make this change before you place the clip in the timeline panel.

  • How to resize pictures to insert in the Source or program?

I was able to do in the Source or the program before, but no longer. With the help of PP5.5. Just set up my editing system, the same exact use equipment, after not in service for four months. I had edited other projects where I had to resize photos and has always been able to resize in the Source monitor or program.

Found my solution in the effect controls panel.

  • Keyboard shortcut to open any item in the project Panel in the Source Panel? H

Hello, I have a lot of assets in my project Panel I need to open one at a time inside the source, preferably without having to always go to the mouse any time.

I can't find the correct shortcut on the various lists of Adobe shortcuts for this very common feature.

    Am I missing something?

    Thank you

    Matt Dubuque

If shortcuts shift + # are useful in their own right - they are used to focus a particular Panel, at least by their designation by default - they are not what you are looking for in this case.

    Try this instead:

Furthermore, a simple way to get a list of all the possible shortcuts in one place is to hold down the Shift key and control (I think that command on Mac) and go to Edition > customization of the keyboard. This will reveal an Easter egg from button in the dialog box titled "> Clipboard." If you click here, then go to a text editor and use the Paste command, you will get all the shortcuts and their current mappings in a long text document. Because you cannot search for a given command in the keyboard customization dialog box, but you can in a text document, it is at least a way to discover new possibilities of keyboard shortcuts that might otherwise be found.

  • How can I disable sound in the source Panel?

No, just here to please.  Do not ask why, but I need to.

    Hi Steve,.

In the Source monitor, if you right-click on the image and choose Gain Audio, you can reduce the gain-100 have to say and will not affect the audio source.

I know it's the kind of pain, but that's the best I can do after watching this for the last 15 minutes.  HA!

Hope you find a better solution...

  • Audio waveform disappears from the Source Panel?

I'm editing files wav for a project in the current version of first CC.  The first time I open the file of the audio waveform appears as usual in the Panel Source, but when I return to him (after the opening of a different audio file), all I see is a blank screen (blue), where the waveform must be. The clip will play normally, I can hear it and I put in and out of the points, etc, but the waveform is missing.  If I switch to the display of "Audio", it will re - appear, then process again (but when I return to the edit view, he is still missing).  If I run the program again, it comes in first, and then the problem starts again...  I'm on an iMac of the retina with an SSD, all files are currently on this same machine.

Thanks a lot for any advice you can provide.

Yes, it is a known problem that we address in a future update. In the meantime, you can get the waveforms to return for a music video responsible notably for the scaling of the zoom just below bar of the time scale. Annoying, Yes, but again once we will have this work in an update.
