  LIghtroom is not able to do this kind of pixel level editing. You will need Photoshop for this.

  I know it's pretty easy to do, but I am so out of practice with Dreamweaver I can't change the background image on different pages. I had a moment difficult get the pages to scale upwards or downwards according to the size of browser window a few months ago, and now it works fine. The background image is referenced in the body tag, which applies to these two pages. I tried to remove it and wrap it all in a container with the new image but then the page will not resize if necessary.

  If by "referenced in the body tag" you mean it's an inline style, set this style in an external style sheet rule. Then, on each page which is to have a different background image, add a little style sheet at the head of the page (below the link to the external style sheet) which is like that -

  The style rule incorporated will replace externally (only if the embedded style sheet is the external link below) and you will have a new image of BG on this page.

• PS Elements Version sets = Images duplicated at Revel

  I use 12 elements and Revel. I have a very large library with several sets of version containing my master RAW file and a revised copy of JPG. Before Revel accept RAW files, I have not had any problems. Only my JPEG files have been downloaded. Today, however, I see hundreds of pictures duplicate in my library, that is to say both the RAW master and my JPEG of the same exact image. Although I like the fact that Revel can accept RAW images I am now frustrated with the fact that I have to scroll so many images duplicate when viewing my photos on my iPad. Is it possible to hide images to Revel? Suggestions as to how I can resolve this (prevent Revel to upload images to the RAW and JPEG formats in a set of version) or with an option to hide an image JPEG or RAW times Revel downloads?

  PS elements create and upload RAW files JPEG versions. As a workaround for this problem, you can create an album with the title of the library of PS Elements and add all the RAW files to this album. In this way all the RAW files JPEG versions would be present in an album and this change would spread to iPad as well. So, it would be useful by filtering out duplicate in your library JPEG versions.

  In an effort to reduce the size of my Captivate file

  1. I copied eleven background images in a film Captivate 4 and convert the BMP to GIF using Adobe Photoshop Elements files.

  2. I then updated the backgrounds of appropriate slides (fifteen of them), replacing the files with the new files GIF BMP.

  3. I have seen in the library base BMP files had been replaced by the GIF files. (The file size of each BMP background image was about 1200 KB, replaced by a background GIF image that is about 35 KB.)

  4. I tried to select unused items in the library; There are not.

  5. I registered the Captivate file and published it as a SWF, compressed.

  To my surprise, the file Captivate with background GIF images was a little bigger. Shouldn't it made a huge difference in the size of the Captivate movie file? It should have been MUCH smaller. I have jump a milestone?

  Hello and welcome to the forum,

  When published Captivate will be compress the background images, the size you see in the library is much larger than the image size after compression. Did you compress the size of the file yourself by editing and changing to GIF (would never do that myself because the GIF format is limited to 256 colors, there is never more than 8 bits). But probably there are not a lot of possibility to the left of compression, which means that your published SWF file would be larger in size. I try to explain that your compression is less effective than the automatic compression performed by CP himself. Leaving sets original you will also choose a slide for each individual slide quality: default value is low 8 bits which is OK if you don't have any images of high quality and lead to the smaller file size. To the slides that are in need of a better quality, you can choose one of the 3 best options. I do not use Photoshop Elements myself, but Photoshop and do not know how many colors you kept for the GIF? I suspect you could have maybe a bit more small size if you try to reduce the number of colors where possible.

  Just a tip: PNG is a much better compression than GIF (and JPEG) graphic file format.

  Deactivation of the HARD disk and then recover with HP for the SSD (256 GB) has operated recovery disks.

  Now upgraded to W8.1 and then I activate the HARD disk to make the data reader.

  I tried to change my position of image for some time now in the bottom of the screen. For some reason any, record only in stretch mode, it will not save filling, adjust, tile or Center. This is a whole new computer pre-installed Windows 7 not upgrade. I haved tried somethings that I learned here and their but without success. Please help cause sound is some boring.

  Hello, quick question, hopefully with a simple answer...

  Im trying to get the photo with black background, to have a blue background, similar to the one shown.

  Is there a way to achieve this in photoshop?

  Try a defined gradient fill layer to clear it up. I used two for the photo, below a set to light subdued and hidden so it has only affected in the foreground, then one another on top of the value lighten affecting mainly the bottom. I had to drop a curve slight modification to retouch (clarify) the seam where they meet (and he looks always funky).
