• A post question CS5.5 upgrade.

  I don't know which forum I should post this question to... I hope this is the right place.

  Earlier this year, I improved my CS to CS5. Then the CS5.5 came out. So I bought the upgrade to CS5.5 so recently.

  After that I went through the installation process, all CS5 applications were still installed. I thought the CS5.5 would uprade just CS5, remove them later.

  Anyway, so I uninstall the CS5 but keeping the CS5.5.

  I'm really confused. If the upgrade is not 'take away' the CS5, what do I do with the CS5 box (software)? I don't need it? There is a lot of money for the 'box' to just sitting there in the dusty closet.

  Sorry if this seems a silly question. I don't like to waste resources that's all.

  It's always this way. Adobe updates install the new version in parallel with the old, so you can continue to use it while you transition. When you upgrade, you upgrade the license. You don't sell or give away a part of the chain of upgrade without transferring all versions.

  It's a shame that you have uninstalled CS5, at least for ID. CS5.5 files are not directly backward compatibility so if you need to work with a user of CS5 at any time you need to export to .idml for them to open your files.

  I am trying to send data using POST method and using an outputstream. This data is supposed to be sent to a php script
  in a web server. I can't send any data, when I check my php script echoing a $_POST ['content'], that is not
  show anything. BUT if I return data to my app, I can read it using an inputstream, no problem with that. I can't

  Looks well isn't?  However, I would use a standard content type, rather than xwww.  Maybe php does not recognize that.

  If you think that the interface

  is very useful for the definition of the attributes and the header values rather than hard-coding them yourself and maybe hurt them.  just a thought.

• APEX 5.0.1 install post question copy images

  I must be bad understand something.  I always seem to have trouble with the copy of the images of post-installation step.

  I installed the APEX 5.0.1 patch.  I use OSH.  I copied the patch/images as described in the readme of post-installation.

  However, whenever I connect to APEX after the 5.0.1 has been applied, I get this error:

  "There is a problem with your environment because the Application Express files are not updated! For the version 5.0.0.00.31 files were loaded, but 5.0.1.00.06 is expected. Check that you have copied the images directory on your application server by following the instructions in the Setup Guide. »

  What I see, APEX works very well.  All images appear in the APEX Application Builder, etc, but I'm still embarrassed that I get this error message about images whenever I have connection.

  I copied the pictures a few times now and no change.

  Hi, I have a situation where I want to duplicate existing content from a Mac Mini 2.1 running Snow Leopard-

  a new end of 2012 i7 Mini - who came to me with Mt.Lion already installed.

  Should I expect any problem if I use Carbon Copy Cloner for this task?  I'm thinking that I need to first

  You shouldn't have any problem with that. Yes, you have to first format in disk utility.
