  Progressive profiling you would actually want to implement a cloud rather than a connector component. FreshAddress and LeadSpend have both provide by e-mail of the components of validation that you can simply drag and drop on your landing pages.

  Theoretically you should be able to implement the progressive profiling and validation of email components at the same time. I have not tested this myself use case, but have had success running the Demandbase and FreshAddress on the same LP components.

  The error message indicates that the engine did not find a series in the worksheet to run the Simulation.

  Add the series of simulation and try again to call the simulation engine.

• I can't get Firefox on my MacBookPro, my user profile is not available. Help!

  I got a message at the bottom of my screen telling me that my navigation could be faster if I "refreshed" Firefox, so I refreshed. I lost my favorites and a few other things (I forgot it would happen) and the thought restart my MacBookPro could receive a "restart". When it was time for Firefox restart, it said that I had two profiles, so I chose one of them... apparently not the right one. Firefox wouldn't load or install, and now I don't have it at all. I tried to uninstall Firefox (moving icons to the trash) and all over again with a brand new installation, as a new customer, but... now it says my user profile is not accessible and cannot be found. I dug this file to the trash and put it back on the desktop, but apparently it does not either. I don't know what to do. I NEED Firefox for my browser, even if I didn't have a bookmarks etc. I can redo those, find a new etc. I don't like using Safari, I miss my Firefox like crazy. ANY help or advice on how I can get back Firefox would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Katy

  You must locate the profiles.ini file or use the Profile Manager to create a new profile.

  This is usually caused by a problem with the file profiles.ini.

  You can use one of them to reuse an existing profile or create a new default profile for Firefox:

  • Remove the profiles.ini file to force Firefox to create a new default profile
  • Use the Profile Manager to create a new profile
    If you still have an existing profile, and then click "Choose a folder" in the MP and select the location of a lost profile and recover this profile.

  Have you tried to build two programs, one with the default contact type, with the default value for the type of data card and tried to use two steps of the program?

  We have customers using connectors of cloud against data card programs.  The joint program and step (contacts and data cards) may be the cause. Try it and let me know.

I'm not sure if this feature works when you put a form on the Web site of our society rather than using a landing in Eloqua page.

  I am developing a new connector of Cloud and Cloud component for Eloqua for my business.

  I want to data of my company in the Eloqua system database. the issue is that im not sure how I would map the data of a Contact. The proof of identity, I can draw from my database is the eloqua of the visitor cookie, but how would approach I mapping to the Eloqua contact in a cloud connector?

  You have the e-mail address of the contact in your system?  It is the way I see used most often.

  Another way would be to have your cloud component ask the contact ID of the frame.  When your component is rendered, you can use the substitution of parameters, as described here http://topliners.eloqua.com/community/do_it/blog/2012/02/28/building-cloud-components-the-endpoints--renderinstance.  The framework will pass the ID of the Contact (if known) to the person accessing the page.  You'll then have something to put a link on your update of the data.
