• Using ColdFusion and get "Internal Server Error" instead of the ColdFusion error page

  I'm using IIS7 with Windows Server 2008 R2. I have 11 ColdFusion set up and running. Everything seems to work fine except when I have a coldfusion error, I get an error message in IIS instead of ColdFusion. I get the generic 500 - internal error from the server instead of the ColdFusion page telling me what is the problem.

  It is a new installation on an empty server. Nothing else is running on this computer, and nothing else has been charged.

  In ColdFusion administrator, I have the checkboxes for "Enable robust Exception information" and "enable request Debugging Output" checked.

  If there is no error on the page, the page works fine. Its hard to debug when I don't see what is wrong if there is a typo or something.

  You must uncheck the box for "Enable HTTP Status Codes" under Server settings > settings in CF Admin.

• CF 10 mistakes show Error 500 instead of normal error message

  Hello

  Strangely, our CF 10 Server started to show a "500 - internal server error" every time that happens a CF error, rather than the normal error message. The error is saved, but the front-end server shows the 500 error and nothing else. Normally, see us the error message and trace the stack etc.

  How to solve that?

  If you had previously childless, that is, you would see the ColdFusion message and stack trace of the error, not the generic screen for IIS, and then all of a sudden the generic IIS 500 error started showing, my guess would be that your web.config file has replaced either by a global change or another local change.  I don't know how you'd put in place before, but if you want to completely ignore the standard IIS 500 error msg and use your own ColdFusion integrated error (or simply to see the ColdFusion "grey area") then you must have this line somewhere in your Web.config, like this:

  This applies to 404 and 500 handling.  Not sure how IIS 8 differs from 7.5, but I think that these concepts are similar.  I hope I understand your problem correctly.  I've dealt with all of this, during the passage of CF9 on IIS 6 to CF10 on IIS 7.5.

• Detailed error messages

  We are upgrading to CF8 to CF10.  One of the things I always liked in Coldfusion was that he gave some fairly detailed error messages by default, so that you could see about where your code was a blast to.

  I working through update places in the code where it is things not compatible before I update the server, but these generic error messages are pretty useless.  Is it possible to recover the old style of the error messages in CF10, at least on the development computer?  I'm using the web server.

  Thank you guys, I thought about it. It was not an error on my part, it was actually the accommodation. For some reason any of godaddy hosting coldfusion does not work with the coldfusion that I use. Oh well, thanks for the help!

  My iPhone is loaded and updated iOS are downloaded to the phone.  There are 10 GB free so space should not be a problem.
