ColdFusion8 at the request of tasks will fail on Server 2008

Recently, we moved our application server to Server 2008 Server 2003 running ColdFusion 8.0.1 on IIS 7.5. Since the move, our scheduled tasks is no longer running. We have the following message:

There was an error of your scheduled task. Reasons why scheduled tasks may not include:

    • The scheduled task is paused
    • The URL is a redirection URL.
    • The URL is protected by the NT IIS or Apache .htaccess password challenge-response authentication.  The text fields of user name and password in order to change a scheduled task are intended to support basic authentication only.
    • The domain name search has failed.  Try using the IP address of the domain whenever possible.
    • The URL is an SSL site, but the SSL port is specified incorrectly.
    • The Web site is not responding.
    • There is no directory specified for published results.

None of them apply. If we run the URL directly from the server, the page runs successfully.

In the scheduler.log the error we see is: "connection failure task execution error: unavailable status code.

If we redirect the task in an output file, we see: "Login failed."

I've seen other people having this problem as well, we tried the keystore process, as well as change the authentication in IIS, but none of these have solved the problem. If anyone can help?

Thank you!

After talking with the Technical Department for CF, I have been informed that CF8 is not supported on Win2008srv, so let's move these jobs our CF10 server.

  • Uninstall the Microsoft IPMI driver (IPMIdrv.sys) on Server 2008 R2

    Hello
    Several sources mention that the driver IPMI from Microsoft and Intel IPMI driver should not be loaded at the same time. If the two drivers are installed, the resource contention problems cause unreliable operation.
    I want to use the Intel driver and tried to uninstall the Microsoft IPMI driver (IPMIdrv.sys), but all my efforts have failed so far.
    Obvious way seems to be to start device, go to "System devices" Manager, "Microsoft generic compatible peripheral IPMI" right-click, select Properties, and on the driver tab, click on "Uninstall". When I do that, I don't get an error message, but when the reboot of the machine, "Microsoft generic compatible peripheral IPMI" reappears.
    I've also tried using DevCon.exe, but I got the same result as before. I also tried a few 'dirty' things, but they don't work as well.
    I am aware that I can choose to stop (disable through Device Manager) the Microsoft IPMI driver, but I really wish to uninstall completely (the evidence being IPMIdrv.sys should not appear when driverquery command is executed).
    Also, I can see in the Device Manager, Microsoft Generic IPMI compatible device properties -> resources -> list of the conflicting devices:
    Range of input/output, CA 0, 2 - 0CA 2 used by:
    Motherboard resources
    Range of input/output, CA 0, 3 - 0CA 3 used by:
    Motherboard resources
    Does have a meaning?
    Intel has published a document entitled the IPMI driver conflicts resolution in Windows Server 2003 R2, but as its name suggests, it is intended to Server 2003 R2, and the mentioned techniques do not work for Server 2008 R2.
    The pointers will be greatly appreciated.

  • Failed to connect to the user when it connects to SQL Server 2008 R2 gateway

    Hi - This is my first post!

    I have problems to connect to a SQL Server 2008 R2 to Oracle database 11 g R2 database, use the product of the gateway.

    Previously, he has worked, but we moved the database SQL 2005 to 2008 (R2).

    We receive this error while trying to query through the link (Select * FROM DUAL@ADSRD)

    ORA-01017: name of user and password invalid. connection refused

    [Oracle] [ODBC SQL Server driver] [SQL Server] Failed to connect to the user 'SQLUSER '. {NativeErr 28000, = 18456} [Oracle] [ODBC SQL Server driver] Invalid connection string attribute {01 S 00}

    ORA-02063: preceding 2 lines of ADSRD

    01017 00000 - "invalid username/password; connection refused '.

    * Cause:

    * Action:

    Error on line: 1 column: 35

    The DG4MSQL configuration is here:

    HS_FDS_CONNECT_INFO = //SSU_PRD_APP/IntegrationStagingDb [BSYS-sql2]

    HS_FDS_TRACE_LEVEL = OFF

    HD_TRANSACTION_MODEL = READ_ONLY

    #HS_FDS_DELAYED_OPEN = FALSE

    HS_FDS_FETCH_ROWS = 100

    HS_OPEN_CURSORS = 50

    The database is hosted in its own instance on the sql2-BSYS Server

    Then... on the SQL Server event logs returns this:

    Failed to connect to the user 'SQLUSER '. Reason: Failed to try to connect using SQL authentication. Server is configured for Windows authentication only. [CLIENT: 192.168.10.179]

    However, the SQL Instance IS configured to enable mixed mode authentication.

    I can't work on what I missed, and I can confirm if I'm actually to a compatibility issue between the gateway and the version of SQL server, that we are now trying to connect.

    Help please!

    Is the user name in your SQL Server database in the capital, mixed mode letters or small letters?

    Currently, you have created a database link that tries to authenticate on the server SQL using SQLUSER in capital letters. If you use mixed or small letters, so be sure to write the user name (and password) as it is in the create database link statement and surround it with double quotes.

    If you have created the link of database correctly, try an ODBC connection for example from your client and add the user name and password. Does it work?

  • I'm unable to start the service for the name of the account to Network Service on Windows Server 2008.

    Original title: name of the account network Service can be resolved correctly on windows French

    I have a service, I want to run under the network service on windows French account. Computer is not in the field, but in the working group.

    Service is installed via install and uses the WinAPI functions to get the name of a valid account of localized, which is the AUTHORITY NT\SERVICE NETWORK.

    The problem is that service fails with errors in the following event viewer:

    (1) service depends on the Net Logon service which failed to start because of the following error:
    The operation was successful.

    (2) this computer is configured as a member of a workgroup, and not as a member of a domain. It is not necessary to perform the service access network in this configuration.

    However, if I go to the properties of this Service, Log On tab and button Browse... to address the NETWORK SERVICE account, it sticks "Network Service" value in field and function successfully starts. Note that it may not resolve the display name 'AUTHORITY NT\SERVICE NETWORK'.

    Another thing is that when I put the computer in the domain that manages all the service suddenly starting with 'AUTHORITY NT\SERVICE NETWORK' account but the system does not transform it in "Network Service" on English windows.

    So is this a bug on a French OS? Is there a solution? How can I get programmatically "converted" version of the account name ('AUTHORITY NT\SERVICE NETWORK'-> 'Network Service')?

The domain administrator credentials (or domain administrator credentials), we applied initially used but it still does not work, but it works with the local administrator account. A new task was created by using the credentials of the domain and the task could not start showing the username and password wrong. I studied unsuccessfully Microsoft Knowledge base. I can't get it to load the patch installer. Of course, life would be easier if Dell has released a proper version of OpenManage (with support for Windows Server 2008 x 64).

  • custom at the request of task-java api

    Hello
    I use IOM view OID APIs.

    I changed the definition of Attr.Lookup.Recon.Map as: user id: employeeNumber (instead of user id: cn, where employeeNumber is an optional attribute of OID) now the employeeNumber is reconciled as UserID IOM... Into account other words for cn = xyz and employeeNumber = 199 OID is related to the UserID IOM = 199.

    I have a requirement as follows:
    I need to write a custom scheduled task that takes two parameters IOM user login (mean 199) and respective OID cn = xyz, and sets the State of the user as revoked OID resources.
    Suppose that for an IOM account, I have two instances of user OID with cn different values. I'll switch IOM user login and a value of cn to present schedule... and for the given connection of IOM user task... It will compare cn given with list of ad for this connection of IOM user. How can I get this list of ad (OID accounts) for a given account of IOM using java API

    See this, it's purely java:
