Community in Oracle Weblogic Portal 10.3

I try to find a community sample code, but can't find it.

in
http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/E13155_01/WLP/docs103/Javadoc/com/BEA/netuix/application/communities/package-summary.html#community_sample

He said: "a sample of code enforcement community including examples of implementation page error and registration is available on the Oracle's Dev2dev site. Search the Web for "dev2dev community sample" must put in this example. "

but I'm not. Does anyone have the example of community application code, please send it to me ([email protected]) or let me known the link for the download.

Thank you.

Ron.

I've located the full sample of Community origin and have moved to a new page of WebLogic Portal samples to:

http://wiki.Oracle.com/page/WebLogic+Portal+samples

I hope that everyone can access it now, and I hope that web searches also will find it in the future as well.

  • No workspace of WebLogic in the Oracle WebLogic Portal 10.3.2

    Hi all

I downloaded and installed Oracle WebLogic Portal 10.3.2. This installation package has no workspace of WebLogic. This pack has 'eclipse for WebLogic 10.3.2. " has no Portal components (I want to say that we don't build portal applications in eclipse).

My question is: should I install weblogic for weblogic portal 10.3.2 workspace? Is available in the oracle site?

    Thank you

Yes, if you choose all the default values during the installation, you should get all the stuff site too. In your main menu open Eclipse IDE--> help-> on the Eclipse platform. In this window, in the background, click Installation details. In the details window, click the 4th named Plug-Ins tab. You see an array of plugins, in this kind of Plug In Name column. And look for plugins in Weblogic Portal. You should see a lot of plugins staring "Weblogic Portal... ». If you do not, the only option is to download and re - install. I am not aware of manually add the plugins portal and you can run into some questions too.

    I installed WLP 10.3.2 and I don't see the behavior you're seeing.

    (2) that I saw in the documents of the oracle, he was in the memory grid, is it's keep business logic, in this case in weblogic cluster as we use even in memory replication, how this different between cluster weblogic.

    (4) is coherance is a database.

Kindly help me questions to understand on oracle weblogic server consistency .is there any simple document above or liniks also very well.

    Thank you
    Reddy

Maybe this (http://middlewaremagic.com/weblogic/?p=8351) can help you on the way.

This (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E24290_01/coh.371/e22620/start.htm#CIHHAAIH) provides a good summary of what coherence * Web.
«Coherence * Web is a HTTP session management module dedicated to the management of session state in a clustered environment.» Built on top of the coherence of the Oracle (consistency), coherence * Web:
-brings data grid of data consistency, scalability, availability, reliability and performance for the session in memory management and storage.
-can set fine-grained and session attribute carried through pluggable policies (see "Session and Session attribute framing).
-can be deployed on multiple servers to consumer applications such as Oracle GlassFish Server, Oracle WebLogic Server, IBM WebSphere, Tomcat and so on (see "Supported Web containers").
-can be deployed on several Portal containers, including Oracle WebLogic Portal (see Chapter 10, "Using coherence * Web with WebLogic Portal").
-allows storage of session data outside the Java EE application server, freeing heap for the application server space and allow the restart of the server without loss of session data (see "Deployment Topologies").
-allows the sharing of session and management across different Web applications, domains and servers in heterogeneous applications (see "Session and Session attribute) scope.
-can be used in models of advanced session (that is, traditional, monolithic and split Session) that define how session state is serialized or deserialized in the cluster (see templates "Session"). »

  • Strengthening and security for Oracle Content & Portal Server

    Hi all

I developed an Application Oracle WebCenter Portal Framework, which is a public website from the front. There are no requirements for users to connect to the Web site or to contribute any content. All content are delivered through Intranet Portal.

Static web application resources such as css, javascript and images are checked in Oracle Content Server with the public group. I set the definition of the region and as a WebLogic group check-in and it is defined as a connection of UCM via the Application Framework of portal in Oracle Enterprise Manager.

I set up Web URL mapped folders to serve my static content (css, javascript, pictures) through the content server that I can access my pictures by clicking using the http://localhost/CS/folder/pictures/filename.jpg

Content and portal servers are behind a reverse proxy (Oracle iPlanet Web server), but I noticed there are several defined servlet in the Web.XML as portlets, servlets admin which I think it should be deleted if not used.

I also put web.xml as zero, connection authentication mode because I don't expect all users to connect to the public Web site. I also defined safety for all groups to be seen only in the hierarchy of the Page options.

Is there something else I should take note of the strengthening of the security/point of view?

    Hello

I don't have your question. Intranet portal and portal public face are the same application or different? What authentication using provider?

Anyone who is not connected to the WebCenter Portal assumes the role of the Public user. Out-of-the-box, the role of the Public user has minimal privileges, i.e. approval of request for an opinion. Be careful when granting permissions to the Public user role. Avoid to grant administrative permissions as Application managing all, Application-managed Configuration or any permission that can be considered useless.

If you don't want the unauthenticated users to see content marked "public" WebCenter portal, do not grant the permission View Application to the Public user role. When public access is disabled, the public content is invisible to unauthenticated users. In addition, the homepage for WebCenter Portal is not displayed; public users are directed to a login page. Administrators can customize the default login page, if necessary.

Please check below the administration guide on the permissions of the application

    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E29542_01/WebCenter.1111/e27738/wcadm_ps_security.htm#CDDHEAAC

Please specify on servlet. Also the version of the webcenter portal.

    Thank you

  • How to install the examples of portal in Weblogic Portal 10.3.5

I missed something when I did the installation or portal examples have only been removed from Setup for Weblogic Portal 10.3.5 file?

    Hello

WebLogic portal sample application is deleted from 10.3.4

  • How to make development on Weblogic Portal (10.3.2)

Im trying to make Weblogic Portal development as described in http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E15919_01/wlp.1032/e14252.pdf

But when I downloaded the latest Eclipse IDE (EPCO) Weblogic (Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse), I don't see the prospect of portal or an ro option create a portal project.
I downloaded the last EPCO (Indigo)

Am I supposed to download a specific version of the EPCO? If yes what is it?
How can I proceed with what is given in the tutorial oracle?

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Eclipse and EPCO are installed as part of the installation of WebLogic Portal (at least specific installers, not generic, platform). Install WLP and you should get everything already set up and configured with the perspective WLP and publishers.

  • zip file to create diagrams for Oracle and Oracle Discoverer Portal

    Hello everyone.

Im trying to install WebLogic for forms and reports under linux,
I need the zip file to create diagrams for Oracle and Oracle Discoverer Portal
    to run the rcu scrip.

Can someone send me the link where I can find it?

Thanks to advanced & happy new year to all.

If you are a developer of FMw 11 g installation, you need not configure the portal or the discoverer, unless of course you plan to use these products.

When I installed and configured the FMw 11 g, I followed the * how to install Fusion Middleware 11 g forms and reports only [854117.1 ID] * (available via My Oracle Support). WLS and FMw share the Directory Home of Middleware. I accepted directories default installation (\Oracle\Middleware\) and WLS installed in \Oracle\Middleware\wlserver_10.3 and FMw installed at \Oracle\Middleware\Oracle_PFRD, and the Instance of forms at \Oracle\Middleware\instances\ft_inst. More Doc ID 854117.1, I chose only the following for installation in step "configure the components:

    • Server - Oracle Forms and Oracle reports components
    • Developer - Oracle Forms Builder and Oracle report builder tools
    • Management components - Enterprise Manager
    • The system - Oracle HTTP Server components

IM thinking I have need save the fmx in a directory of this tree and also the FMAS and configure ther formsweb agreeing with that.

It is not necessary. All you have to do is add the Variable environment of FORMS_PATH (EV) and include the directory where your files .fmb and .fmx will be created. This EV indicates forms where to find your forms Modules and libraries of forms (.pll/.plx) you can use in your forms.

The usefulness of the repository creation (RCU), you can download it here: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/downloads/fmw-11-download-092893.html
Just scroll down for the * @ section additional software required and there is a separate download.

  • Adapter of the UCM VCR for weblogic portal.

    Hello
Where can I find the VCR UCM installable adapter, tried to get the version of the patch as described in the oracle documentation but was not a success.
We use weblogic portal server version is 10.3.0.0

    Thank you and best regards,
    Prashant.

    To clarify:

-You can patch your 10gr 3 original WLP (10.3.0.0) install the 10.3.1.0 patch level that is the patch of UCM VCR adapter.
-On delivery only the most recent version of WLP isavailable, which is currently 10.3.2 - who owns the card already included in the installation.
-If you want to continue your 10.3.0.0 patch original install to 10.3.1.0 you can do it, but you will need to contact support for patches or use smart update client and apply the fixes mentioned in the documentation for 10.3.1.0.

  • Authorization and authentication external Weblogic Portal

In our project we use Weblogic portal 10.3 and Oracle 11 g as a backend. During the creation of the field, I specified Oracle as backend. All schemas relevant portals are created in the Oracle database. For our application, we created a specific schema. In a specific scheme of project, we have the table user containing fields like username, password, e-mail, and other relevant areas. How to configure in weblogic to access this table for authentication instead of the user portal schema table? As well as I need to know, in a console of Directors if a new user is created, and then details will be stored in a table schema portal or a project schema user table? In the end, I want to configure specific project table to store the information of the user when the user created through the administrative console.

    It's urgent.

    Hi Renon
Basically, you need to authenticator custom to store and authenticate all your users to your own specific Tables DB (with information from the user). For this you need to develop custom authenticator. Please note that this has nothing to do with the portal. It's core weblogic security stuff. I have compiled a few links for you. Incase if Oracle Support, open a ticket with them have Oracle support work entirely custom authenticator sample of RDBMS that stores and authenticates users of specific set of custom tables. They will send you immediately. I hope that someone in these forums can have this example also in their personal blogs/forums.

And, Yes, you can force your custom authenticator to be one by default and to store users when you create new users in the administration Console. Essentially, when you create new users, you should see the option as to create users in what way authentication provider.
