  I have HP Pavilion dv7 7003 - portable tx which has 17.3 "FHD display. I have 2 simple questions that I have not found someone asked before.

  First question. I can easily adjust brightness laptop computer under Windows 7. But the BIOS screen full backlit. Normally, it is not a problem (because of the black of the screen IE "Press ESC for Boot Menu" and the Windows Logo on a black background). But when I access the BIOS Setup or upgrade of BIOS (of course), it's no doubt noticeable that this laptop backlit is complete before starting Windows. When I connect the laptop with an HDTV via HDMI, BIOS Configuration screen backlit is bearable in the screen of the TV (depending on the setting of the TV) and unbearable (IE full backlit and white background of the HP BIOS configuration) in the screen of the laptop at the same time. It is a problem of laptop screen adjustment. I want to adjust the brightness of the laptop regardless of starting Windows screen. I can reduce the brightness of the screen of the BIOS in your laptop monitor?

  Second question. Can I put in screen laptop for something like "fit screen"? Currently, it is set to something like "Stretch screen. I don't like the duct Chassis Windows startup Logo. However, under Windows, I can play 4:3 resolution games in something like setting "fit screen".

  Not the F2 and F3 keys is not a function in the BIOS. The screen cannot be cleared up or dimmed inside the BIOS.

  For the issue of screen resolution, the resolution provided for within Windows should also be the resolution on login/Welcome screen. Try to reset your resolution in Windows (without an attached external monitor), and then restart it a few times to see if the resolution sticks throughout the boot process. Let me know the results when you get a chance.

  Just install the desktop application cc from here on your new computer, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud

  When you sign in with that, asked you logout of your other computers.  agree and your lost computer will be eliminated signed.

  of course, you'll also sign on one of the computers that you have, but when you use your programs adobe on this matter, you will be asked to sign-in.  do it and're you good to go.
