• How to compare pdf files in Acrobat Standard XI?

  Need help on comparison of PDF files.  First of all, this feature is available in the standard, or does it require Pro?  The plug-in is available but not active and I don't see a way to enable it.  The instructions on the site of Adobe said it is for the Adobe Acrobat family and does not expressly state that it is a feature for Pro only.

  At first, I am a newbie in Acrobat and Javascript.

  I create a PDF with Acrobat Pro form, my next idea is to fill out the PDF with the related data via an XML Import.

  Real, I can import the xml file and fill the fields PDF hard-coded, it already works via Javascript.

  My real problem is, I want to fill the PDF with the XML data via a loop for, because we want to use this script in several PDF forms and not each form has the same number of fields.

  I have Adobe Pro 9.0 and Office 2010.  When I "print" an Outlook email in PDF format, Adobe automatically opens the new PDF on the top of the Outlook item.

  I have about 200 e-mails to do with and must name them individually, so I can't use a batch processing option.

  Depends on the automatic opening of Adobe or Outlook?  How to stop to open automatically, or make it open on my secondary monitor?  Or the other option is preferable to having to close an additional document in this process.

  Please try following steps to stop opening PDF result after printing:

  Click Start-> device and printers-> right click on 'Adobe PDF' printer-> printing preferences-> uncheck the option "view Adobe PDF results".

  If you use MMR, then you can do what I mentioned. Run the report in "FILE". The file will now be automatically on the client computer. If you want to open it, you can make a call from the HOST to open it.

• A DIFFICULT: Get Adobe 9 ext PDF Auto quote how to fill a database?

  Have a close friend and colleague who uses Acrobat 9 Pro Extended.

  He's trying to do, is to create a form with some fields (checkboxes, text fields, etc.) that he wants to send to a few hundred clients and ask them to fill in the information updates (customers won't drive most of the time), then instead save the form and send back to him (means it must manually enter data they have entered in an Excel spreadsheet) , he wants them to be able to click on 'send' (or send it somehow), and it AUTOMATICALLY assign the Excel spreadsheet, so he doesn't have to manually manage each of the 300 or that will be submitted to him.

  Apparently, there is a way to make it work - anyone has any idea?

  He might want to consider using Acrobat.com to collect form data. He will be able to export all data to a csv file to use in Excel.

  It would create its form, use forms > distribuer distribute forms, choose the option of Acrobat.com (screenshot.40) and follow the wizard to the Assembly. He would first have an Adobe ID.

  Acrobat.com form tracker item is really nice, allowing you also to see who answered, check the answers, filter, etc. (screenshot.41).

  I've seen a number of messages saying that Acrobat 9 has good document comparison tools.  I just download Adobe Reader 9.2.0 for Mac.  The Documents menu has no menu item for document comparison.

  It is not possible to compare PDF files using the player.

  You may need to use Acrobat for the same thing.

  Can you please mention the version of the dowry of reader you use?

  If you use a pdf view in the view tabbed browsing and you want to open the other pdf in a different window, so that you can compare PDF files, you can drag one of the tabs off window Acrobat pdf and open the pdf file in a new window.

  This is to merge the data and it is one of the features built into InDesign (and Photoshop by the way). However, it did not its path in Illustrator. Here's a thread that may interest you:

  I have read many articles on the iPad, iPhone, Android version and as an ICA for DPS I always explain to my students who produce Folio for Apple is always in PDF format.

  Now, I did a simple test. I create an indesign file - 1024 * 768px - with a floating frame and slide show settings for raster and vector.

  Then I create 4 folios / 2 formats:

  1. Folio PDF 1024 * 768px
  2. Folio PDF 2048 * 1536px
  1. Folio car 1024 * 768px
  2. Folio auto 2048 * 1536px

  And to my surprised... There is no difference in quality of a snippet of text between PDF and automatic of the folios. I tried IPad3 and iPad2

  Folio IS PDF Auto. You can exlicitly together the other format (jpg, png).

I know it is a scanner at low cost and that you get what you pay for, but surely, we have the right to expect that it works as advertised.

  Does anyone know where to get a copy of the latest Acrobat Developer Guide? I searched on the adobe site to get a copy, but for Acrobat 7 SDK, the copy that I found on the site is dated 2007. Is there any update on the guide the developer in the past seven years for SDK 8, 9, X, and XI? I use Acrobat Pro XI SDK to develop a plugin to compare PDF of the lot. Concerned by the guideline developer I have Acrobat 7 SDK will cause problems when the plugin is deployed on Acrobat Pro XI.

  The Acrobat SDK kit is structured is more like it. It is a very large collection of HTML files, with the developer to guide an article linked to this. So you already have in your SDK documentation.
