  Hey there,

  Is there a master list of what versions of Premiere Pro save/open files .prproj of what other versions?

  I am currently using Premiere Pro 2015.1 CC and CC 2015.1 .prproj files cannot be opened in CC 2015.0. Given that Adobe won't let you have two 2015 CC & CC 2015.1 on your computer at a time, I was going to install CC 2014 but I don't know if it can read the CC 2015 files. I looked but can't find the answer.

  I know AE CC 2015 files work with CC 2014, but I do not know the case with the first.

  (Note: exporting Final Cut XML files will help us not in this case.)

  In general, you can open an earlier version to a newer version, but not a newer version in an older, but not all the effects or transitions can be available.

• Compatibility between versions Georaster

  I have a Table Georaster in GR 11, 2 without generated pyramids.
  I used exp and imp (version 10 g 2) and imported into 10 gr 2.
  When I tried to generate in 10gr 2 pyramids, I received the error ORA-13497.
  
  I think it's because the Georaster format is different in these versions (GR 11, 2 and 10 gr 2), is not it?
  Thus, between GR 11, 2 and 11 GR 1 material I will find the same problem?

  Claudio,

  georaster format is still compatible. Thus, imported from 10g and 11g georaster objects should work as is.

  It sounds like your georaster items imported are not valid. Make sure they are valid in 10g and you can run sdo_geor.validategeoraster on all georaster objects to see if they have been imported in 11g properly.

• Plug compatibility between versions of LR

  Hello

  I LR3 and saw a plug-in to export from LR2 to Shutterfly.  I can assume that the plugins are compatible before, or am I limited to plug-ins that are particularly marked for LR3?

  Answered my own question by seeing a similar question in a previous post.  Yes it is compatible in this particular case.  I suspect the mileage may vary from plug to plug into the plan that is verified to work on later versions of LR.  He load and worked like a charm.  Sorry for the noise.

• Compatibility between versions of Windows

  I use a portable external hard drive. I use it on my laptop (running Windows 7) and my laptop at home (Windows 8.1). There is an incompatibility problem that after a time, one or the other computer is unable to read the disc. The issue is NOT the drive (which is the initial diagnosis given by the staff of the it Department) since I changed (and bought) 3 discs. It's a configuration problem caused by the passage from one computer to another with their different operating systems. Nobody has really been able to help.

  Win - 8 and 8.1 use QuickStart and did win-10

  Way the easiest is to open CMD = prompt (run as administrator) within the victory-8... and use that string to disable Hibernation

  I believe in victory - 8.1 you can right click on the Start button to display the command prompt...

  You can also use the search Windows key + s and type cmd and right click and run as admin.

  It is recommended not to share hard drives :)

  I'm sure that there will be no problem of compatibility between the same versions of cloud and non-cloud products. But what about the feature updates that are mentioned as an advantage of cloud products. How they affect the file format. It does not depend on whether or not I use a feature of some?   Files saved from creative Cloud of products versions are compatible with "framed" copies of the same program. Creative specific characteristic cloud updates will not affect the file format.

• Why is the compatibility between interactive pdf and acrobat dc so bad?

  We used Indesign CC14 make interactive pdf with a lot of hyperlinks on the huge books. With the new Indesign CC15, all target links are wrong, the interactive pdf is ok on a desktop computer, but failed on Ipad and Iphone. There is no compatibility between adobe acrobat and adobe acrobat reader DC.

  Before an another upgrade to Indesign CC I want questions to be resolved on.

  Here's the reality: PDF readers on mobile, including those from Adobe, have limited support for interactive PDF.

  There are readers who support it, but you may have to pay for them. Try PDF Expert of Readdle (US $9.99).

  It has nothing to do in particular with the latest version of Acrobat DC. It is one of the many readers on iPad, iPhone and Android that do not support interactive PDF features. Some features will not work, some will not.

  That's why many of us are moving the fixed layout EPUB when we want to view interactivity or animation.

• Save on the older version of Adobe Acrobat Standard DC

  Someone knows how to save an older version of Adobe Acrobat Standard DC.  I try to help someone who has Adobe Acrobat Standard DC on their pc and when they transfer the file to his boss his Adobe do not see.  The boss has an older version of Adobe.  I watched SAVE AS and I even looked under reduce the size of file for the other version, but nothing.

  Any help will be appreciated.

  In the general case, a PDF file generated with the current version of Adobe applications, including Acrobat Pro DC, InDesign CC, CC of Illustrator, Photoshop CC, etc. should be easily open, visible and printable versions of Acrobat or Reader going back to Acrobat 8 or 9 at least and in most cases, even Acrobat or Reader 6!

  Only if you use the special security / encryption functionality might you encounter any backward compatibility issues.

  Also note that even the latest versions of many viewers no Adobe PDF can not completely and correctly supports PDF versions of common or even Acrobat!

  It is not necessary to uninstall nor is there one to keep old files.  It's your choice.  Some people find that they need for some old versions of when it comes to compatibility of document or the economy, such as older versions of the file.

  I have a question about vMotion in vSphere 4.1.  It is primarily on licenses, as I know technically what I'm asking, it's doable.

  With the inclusion of vMotion in Standard licenses, can run a mixed environment (eg. Enterprise and Standard licenses) and vMotion between hosts with different licenses?

  For simplicity, assume that the environment is running 4.1.  Although if you know, could you please indicate if it would work between versions (eg. between 3.5 and 4.1 or 4.0 and 4.1).

  Yes.  As long as you have licenses vMotion on all host ESX (i), and you meet the requirements of vMotion (shared storage, CPU compatibility, network, etc.) whereas there should be no problem.  Remember that if a mixed environment of VI3 and vSphere4 hosting, do not upgrade the comment tools.
