compensate for the expression

Hi, if I associate an effect (blur say) to another (say scale) via an expression by using the pick whip, can I offset the link?  In other words: If the scale settings range from 50% to 100%, can you do the blur start at 0% and go to 50%?  If this isn't the case, can I have some sort of "invisible effect" that has no effect, but which I can link the other effects?

You can probably I'm very new to this.

Regards, Matt.

Yes you can. in your expression of field after you choose whipped your scale property you should have something like this:

This.COMP.Layer("Your Layer"). Transform.Scale

and just add a - 50 to compensate:

This.COMP.Layer("Your Layer"). Transform.Scale - 50

You can do mathematical operation as long as the expression of values is numbers:

This.COMP.Layer("Your Layer"). Transform.Scale * 2

even between two bound properties

This.COMP.Layer("Your Layer"). Transform.Scale / this.comp.layer("your_layer").transform.rotation

etc...

Hope that helps

  • Compensate for the gradient tool

    Hi guys

    I use PsCC2015 I drew an ellipse and has added a gradient, with a radial pattern. The center of the star is at the center of the ellipse. For the effect I want, I need to compensate for the radial gradient from the center of the ellipse Center. Is this possible?

    Respect,

    Graham

    Yes it is possible. Double-click the layer, and then select gradient overlay and manually set the gradient whereve you want on the ellipse. Just like that.

  • How to make the SSD intel for the express purpose of starting applications on Vista

    Hello

    start the passage of the hhd to ssd?

    You have a problem. I installed an ssd intel in the express purpose of starting applications and vista X 64. I tried the drive cloning, but wouldn't start. I tried a new install and it was going to move files into that, won't boot from either by car, but win wonder what version of the win even he wants me to start from and restarts any computer to the same query form. The SSD is disabled in the bios to get the boot. Had to disable the RAID to use trim to ssd so function.

    What I want to do: start just from the ssd. The only things I want written on this disc are applications or the os updates/fixes. Want to earn for knows to go for hard drives for data, and make all other write here.

    Is this possible... or what I am doing wrong? BTW due to config sata raid or ide Diane to get started.

    w/thanks... Duke

    Hi ssdprob,

    I suggest you to install the SSD as a stand-alone drive and do a clean format installation.

    When installing, do not select the SSD. After completing the installation adds the old hard drive in the system.

    Note: If you have Sata or Raid enabled, so make sure you have the drivers available for the same thing. During the installation, you may need to install the drivers, otherwise choose IDE to proceed to the installation.

    IMPORTANT: before attempting an installation format for Windows Vista on the SSD, make sure you also have a good backup of all the information stored on your computer, because this process completely removes the previous installation and the data stored on the system.

    Hope this information is useful.

  • Alias for the Expression

    If I have X expression for example something Gianni Ceresa helped with age:

    TIMESTAMPDIFF(SQL_TSI_YEAR, IFNULL("Employee Personal Attributes"."Employee Birth Date", CURRENT_DATE), CURRENT_DATE) +
            CASE WHEN DAYOFYEAR(IFNULL("Employee Personal Attributes"."Employee Birth Date", CURRENT_DATE)) > DAYOFYEAR(CURRENT_DATE) THEN
     -1
            Else
    0
            End

    And I want to use it several times I can use an Alias?  I.E. blah blah blah AS MYEXPRESSION I'm throwing the age in buckets (20 to 30, 31 and 40 etc...) and I feel like it would be a lot cleaner that I've referenced this time only...  It would be so blah blah blah AS AGE so I could use the AGE instead of the long term...

    Yes, something like that...

    OBIEE was the split between the front end and RPD, the RPD is the single repository for your things (columns) and where you can apply (business rules) rules accepted by the entire organization. Your formula to calculate the age of the employee, it's a standard rule that must be shared by all users of your system OBIEE and so it makes sense to put this rule (the formula) in the RPD itself.

    Excel and Access are a single layer where OBIEE is frontal and RPD (as it is a tool for the company instead of just a gentle that you install on your laptop) and therefore isn't dividing things.

    VBA is a programming language, OBIEE is a reporting and analysis tool, where you do not use code, you work primarily with what you offer the RPD and if necessary you can enter formulas directly into the front end (such as for age).

    It will be difficult to find links between VBA and OBIEE: some standard functions are of course (as you discovered), and others are completely different to match a platform for analysis and reporting.

  • Need to create and adjustment layer to compensate for the unwanted hue caused by lens

    I'm looking for help to set up an adjustment layer to compensate for a specific lens coloring problem. Basically, I use a GoPro (on a drone) but I got a flat lens of spare parts. The sharpness is good, but the lens has a well-known problem: it translates into a pink coloring around the edges/corners. Most of the time it is barely perceptible, sometimes he jumps. It also depends on the screen, that I use for example. My TV seems to bring out a lot more than my laptop.

    Here's an example - look at around 0:35 0:40 http://vimeo.com/117790732

    And to try to get an idea where the question is on the frame, I took a picture of the example of the grass Frost, very early in the morning. I then crank up the saturation to 100% and this is what it looks like:

    Frosty Grass for Adj Layer.jpg

    I would like to be able to compensate for this. This should probably do with an adjustment in Photoshop layer that I can then import in Premier Pro. Can anyone advise as to how to do?

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Jacques

    Since any change in RGB channels influence the tonal scale, perhaps to the laboratory, with m/g-b/y juxtaposition and distinct tone level would be a logical choice. Here, a few sweeping curves (and a rough mask, sorry about that) need to be addressed.

    The adjustment layer that results can be changed in the opacity according to the saturation of the chromatic aberration.

    EDIT: Posted quickly. End of shadow of channel tweak L. red dot needs a white dot in the mask to eliminate].

  • Compensate for the div / positioning in IE problem

    I posted this problem in another thread, but it was a sub-question. Anyway, the problem I have is positioned a div on all other divs. I managed to make it work perfectly on Firefox and Chrome as I wanted. The problem is usually when it comes to internet explore. I want just the image or the div on the right side of the site, but always placed by changing properties will give the same result, places of internet explore is far away where it is supposed to be. I'll add pictures, the code and the site below. Any help would be appreciated.

    A few steps to follow.

    First make a backup copy of the file site just in case things go belly up and you need to revert to the original.

    Add position: relative; to the

    the bottom (as shown)

    Then move your

    named "containerEmergency" directly below the
    who added you position: relative; TO:

    Add z-index: 100; to the css "containerEmergency" as shown below:

    {#containerEmergency}

    height: 250px;

    Width: 250px;

    position: relative;

    Top: 0px;

    right: 0px;

    left: 720px;

    border-top-style: none;

    border-right-style: none;

    border-bottom-style: none;

    border-left-style: none;

    border-bottom-color: #F00;

    border-right-color: #F00;

    border-bottom-color: #F00;

    border-left-color: #F00;

    z-index: 100;

    }

    Add z-index: 2; to the css of 'entireSite ':

    {#entireSite}

    height: auto;

    Width: 900px;

    position: absolute;

    top: 50px;

    z-index: 2;

    }

    Add z-index: 1; to the css "navbar":

    {#navbarArea #navbar}

    background-color: #929BA0;

    height: 40px;

    Width: 900px;

    position: relative;

    top: 20px;

    left: auto;

    right: auto;

    do-family: Arial, Helvetica, without serif.

    do-size: 12px;

    z-index: 1;

    }

    Now it should work ok in Internet Explorer.

  • For the Express video presenter, how do you change the font of the lower third text?

    How to change the police lower third text in Adobe Presenter Video Express.  The combination of fonts and sizes is not very attractive.

    Currently, it is not possible to change video presenter Express UI. However there is an option to change them by using the cplc.ini file.

    In the video of the presenter express installation folder, you can find cplc.ini.

    Open the file in any text editor (such as notepad).

    Search for LOWER_THIRD_TITLE_FONT_NAME and LOWER_THIRD_SUB_TITLE_FONT_NAME. you will find the following lines.

    LOWER_THIRD_TITLE_FONT_NAME = clean Adobe

    LOWER_THIRD_SUB_TITLE_FONT_NAME = clean Adobe

    You can change them as below. (for purposes of example, I change the Arial font)

    LOWER_THIRD_TITLE_FONT_NAME = Arial

    LOWER_THIRD_SUB_TITLE_FONT_NAME = Arial

    This will make the police of lower third text in all your projects, Arial.

    Similarly, to change the FontSize are looking for LOWER_THIRD_TITLE_HD_FONT_SIZE / LOWER_THIRD_SUB_TITLE_HD_FONT_SIZE and change them accordingly.

    Thank you

  • Compensate for the Div Okay on PC, not on Mac

    Using CS4, I created a div for a search box that goes in the header of a site. Thing is, in order to make it appear properly placed in browsers, I had to compensate about 100px in DW - while in DW, it hangs 100px off the page to the right. But in browsers, it seems well... except on a Mac, where the search box is shifted as in DW.

    Is this a bug in DW? I did something wrong? Here's the div code:

    #search_header {width: 266px; height: 24 PX, position: absolute; z-index: 1; left: 796px; top: 51px; border: 0px ;}}

    -Change

    #container {width: 950px; background: #C8D7E8; margin: 0 auto; text-align: left ;}}

    on this subject.

    #container {width: 950px; background: #C8D7E8; margin: 0 auto; text-align: left; position: relative ;}}

    And then reposition the box search in DW.  It will stay where you put it now...

    Your next mission is to tell us why it works...

  • BlackBerry smartphones can compensate for the cache on a memory card?

    Hello world

    I recently acquired a storm (9350).  I get very familiar with this camera and enjoy its capabilities.  After reading a lot of messages and advice given here, I learned a lot more that I thank you all for.

    My as stated above question the limited cache and internal memory (device).  Specifically, is there a setting or a way in which I can have use of the storm the SD card installed to store the cache and temporary files?  I ran into the problem of running out of memory flash and have the "garbage collection" to take my storm when you try to use it.  (Here), I learned how to clean the cache and restore/free space files.  How can I do a more permanent solution?

    Thank you in advance.

    Kind regards

    tecknot

    Nope... This is a physical limitation in the device. For making even the attempt would completely void the warranty... and I doubt you can find adequate patterns to tell you how to do it.

    SQL or PL/SQL has buttons.  If your question relates specifically to the buttons, then post in an appropriate forum, perhaps the Apex forum:

    If your question is about how to combine conditions, then it is probably the right forum.

    Looks like you have already combined 2 conditions:

    1. SUPERIOR (USER_ID) = UPPER (: APP_USER) and
    2. READ_ONLY = '1'

    If you want to add a condition of 3rd, you can add it in the same way that you added the 2nd condition:

    WHERE SUPERIOR (USER_ID) = UPPER (: APP_USER)

    AND READ_ONLY = '1'

    AND P8_ID IS NOT NULL

  • How to compensate for the animation of text varoius items

    Hello!

    I have text elements that are basically moving and scaling of the same amount on

    the screen, but after I duplicate I want to be able to offset the animation

    the new text so it starts on a different area of the screen.

    For example, let's say the original text text start at 960, 540

    Middle screen on a canvas of 1920 x 1080.

    text a moves 100 left and down 100 and scales up to 125%

    then duplicate this text, but I want a keyboard shortcut that will

    keep this animation but allows me to move the new text to another area.

    say the lower third.

    Is this possible?

    Nevermind, I just adjust the anchor point.

  • Strange problem brush which compensates for the model of the line and double it... Help?

    Hey everybody! Last night, I made a brush of Ribbon for a project at work. It worked as it should and I gave it to a colleague of mine so that it could use is as well. This morning, however, my colleague tells me she is having problems with the brush because it wasn't appearing when she used. I opened the file HAVE on my computer to check it out and everything seems fine, the lines that I did the other night not appear correctly. However, when I tried to draw another line and apply the brush, the ground was shifted to the line, AND it seemed to have doubled.

    Here's a sample of what I mean; the top is a line that I drew last night and the bottom is the same line, just copied and pasted below:

    ribbon_brush_issue.png

    I can move the lines, I did the other night, on the model around and it works correctly, but if I copy the line or by using the same brush to draw, I get double up to offset glitch.

    Thank you for taking the time to read this. All advice is appreciated!

    The brush is constructed with a clipping group. This does not work properly.

    You might drag the brush in the Panel forms. Then ungroup. Then take the part of the brush that isn't a corner and use the pathfinder Crop on it.

    Then create a new brush.

    Works for me.

    You can use this file? https://DL.dropboxusercontent.com/u/15485305/ribbon_brush_issue-mg.AI

  • Fusion of data - several images to compensate for the resulting page and registers

    I designed a form of writing simple exhibition of 3 fields, a logo (png), and a title area. This unique, simple, layer grouped when merged with data using several cliché product registration 54 pages of 8 cards per page: exactly as expected. However, the group resulting from cards on each page is offset. If 8 are grouped together and then the Group centered vertically and horizontally on each page this product the last printable pages.

    I read that number of entries forum as appear relevant, have tried the Master object, played with spacing and margins but always result with 8 cards from shift of centering. I have also searched/view Lynda.com, YouTube and other references. I obviously do not see where this offset numbers tie in with other parameters of the page. All the parameters of the page are borderless, bleeding etc.

    Where I wrong or what is the problem? I guess I could (with learn how do) create a macro to the group the cards on each page and then Center of each, but surely, this is not the result you expect from InDesign.

    Machine: Windows 7, running CS6 8.0.1

    Thanks for any help or pointers anyone can offer.

    Preview can be buggy, and I think it can "infect" your model, so I'm going to suggest you make a new template file, and then copy and paste your placeholders in it. Put them in the upper left corner.

    If possible, make the group placeholder smaller than necessary to fill the page when duplicated 8 times without space between and set the top and left margins to position it correctly. In the merge options add necessary spacing, leaving the upper part and fix the left margins, but set the down and right on 0 (data fusion can be weird about editing when the margins are quite right, too).

    Finally take a leap of faith and merger without preview.

  • My CS6 illi seems glitchy when it comes to compensate FOR the paths. No miracle solution?

    One of the things bigger, than I do in Illustrator CS6 is OFFSET paths. In CS5, he would remember what was my last distance, as well as what type (bevel, round, etc.).

    But this CS6 don't remember. He always default ".1389 - miter" and then adds the offset as a striped instead of a real extended object.

    The first choice is CS5, the way I like it to be:

    CS5offset.png

    a duplicate, separate path/object.

    Instead, CS6 gets this treatment:

    CS6offset.png

    the object SEEMS to be "rubbed" to 1/4 ".

    Can I have a product glitch? I have not clicked a certain box? Am I missing something?

    This adds a surcharge of 3 steps in each process that I do (I know, I know... 1 global and other problems).

    Thanks in advance.

    Don't think that reinstall will change behavior.

    The route of the menu object using not work as expected for you?
