• NCAA games go to bad audio device, even when I say o/s otherwise. How to replace Firefox?

  I guess that's a FF issue, since everything else seems to work OK. I have a USB headset plugged into the USB hub under my desk. I use the properties of the Audio devices > Audio in the control panel (XP Pro) to switch between the headphones and speakers of the laptop.

  The problem is that I can't sound through Laptop speakers playing games via Firefox NCAA without unplugging the USB headset physically. I hate to crawl under my desk to do it. If I tell the OS what speakers to use, do not change it. I should be able to force audio to speakers for computer without physically disconnect them. I use my laptop to a large number of web conversations with my helmet, but I don't want to physically disconnect when I what to listen without headphones.

  No sooner had I posted my complaint that I discovered that other applications have the same problem, although I said otherwise. And FF works fine if the USB headset is activated as the device by default until I start FF (or tab maybe the FF). Maybe the 'problem' is the operating system, if it does not notify a change of aircraft FF. Or, maybe the problem is FF, if it does not acknowledge the notification from the OS.

  In any case, I now have a work-around that seems compatible with other applications on Windows. However, any other ideas would be appreciated always. I think that changing the operating system's audio playback device must notify immediately and performed by all applications using the headphones/speakers/whatever, regardless of when the application started.

  1 Bakckup Iphone on Itunes

  2. restore iphone - restore mode turn iphone off, then press on and hold the "home" button and connect to the computer (although still the hold home button)

  ITunes u questions and then download latest ios and then restore your phone to factory settings, as if it was newly purchased...

  I'm having a serious problem after installation of Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit. Initially, I thought that it was due to external cooling fans not working not properly and so went out and bought really powerful Antec fans. But the question continues to prevail. I play all the games running at 60 fps with no problems, but after a few minutes, the framerate drops to 20 to 25 images per second, then after a few minutes, it goes back to 60 frames per second. It is very annoying and happens to all my games.

  I searched online for similar issues and saw that many people have this problem with Windows 7, looks like there is a caused overheating GPU. However, no one has a solution to install Vista and get rid of Windows 7.

  I use a laptop with 1 GB of Geforce 9800 m GTS. This problem really wear out my components of the laptop because of the heat and so I stopped playing games! Now there is a solution for this? Forward an answer soon for this serious problem!

  
  

  :( Fan issues appear to be limited to Windows 7 and related BIOS, so if it does not work under Vista, there is probably something else going on... I could be wrong on this issue, I just noticed most of the complaints pointing to an upgrade to Win7 as the cause.

You can also try looking through this thread more, or see what Google has to say, but in the blink of an eye that seems to be the only success in the thread at least. Others is 'never had the problem', or had not found a solution.

  This user sent the computer in ASUS for repairs, and he came back very well. Other than to clean all the dust, which seems to be your only option.

  PS You can also try an other BIOS using the Flash utility and the BIOS of your laptop available on ASUS support site, but I have not seen any report of success of this.

  I gave up trying to fix it and just called asus today and they told me to send since its still under warranty, I guess it's a hardware related issue and not the associated software =)

  I was that through Patience and I didn't know if I even had moves left or not, so I try using the key. He tells me that I have to click on the pile of cards in the upper left corner, so I do that.   That's what it boils down to: the game gives me an unnecessary suspicion because I can't do anything with the cards I have left... So why don't the game tell me that I have more shots instead of give the same instruction that is useless?

• Inpiron 15R 5537 - bad game performance or prolonged inability to sleep/wake?

  This post is a complaint and a call for a solution that is a real tool for troubleshooting.

  The problem is: after I've updated my notebook to Windows 8.1, I noticed on the screen would not back off from his sleep. Has been my solution: install generic drivers from AMD. And the problem was over. Not only that, I was able to play the same field 4. But then I've locked the computer and has failed to wake it back up... again...

  Long story short: I'm mad on this subject and I really wan't to know: why the ADMIN NOTE: replace character removed according to the TOU > you guys put HD Graphics of Intel and AMD HD Board altogether? If I have a NOTE from the ADMIN: replace character removed by TOU > 8850 M why the hell I'm going to need a NOTE from the ADMIN: replace character removed according to the TOU > Intel HD Graphics? If you guys had this brilliant idea, why aren't you able to develop a decent driver, one that allows the 8850M high performance, it can handle and the HD from Intel to manage anything, should it manage? and finally: is there is a solution to both problems, which is?

  Is not obvious because there is no title bar to drag, but you can do as a normal program: just tap the very top edge of the screen and drag and down and each side to snap into place.  The next program you open and then will open in the remaining empty space.

  If you have a touch screen, you can use the same movement by dragging it down, from the top edge.

• Older games won't let me install them.

  I recently bought a new laptop running windows 8 x 64 and I love it. My only complaint is that I have several older games, I would still like to enjoy but I constantly run into the same error, no matter the game I try to install. Its always the same compatibility error.

  The two games in question work perfectly well on Windows 7 x 64. All that I ask is if there is a way I can run these games or if I have to go back to an older operating system for them power to be installed.
