Composition & target to stretch the full width 100%

I am new to Adobe Muse and wanted to know how to extend the target a blank publication of 100% widget full width to any browser. I am trying to create something very similar to the menu bar drop down to www.harrys.com.

Any advice would be greatly welcomed!

Hi Jeremy,.

You can create something pretty close to site Web of Harry menu using an Accordion widget, which can be set to the 100% browser width. I created a website for example, which has a link to download the file of Muse. It takes work to do properly, so a third party widget can always be the best option for you. All depends on your design and how you want to work. Good luck!

I'm seriously frustrated with this program. I tried the last three days, try adding an image and stretching it to full width 100% when adding content below. It looks good in the design module but I get white lines in the preview. I also tried to add a rectangular box and filling in the with the photo, but it does not work. Please help me! Use the rectangle tool, and then proceed to fill > add image and change the scale to fill fitting.

  • How I always use the full width of my screen instead of only about 1/2 for the content? Menu bars are full width, is not the content of the page.

I want to use the full width of my screen at any time.
Menu bars are full-width but the content is not, in fact it is about 1/2 possible width.
I bought a large wide screen to use it without having to increase the size of all fonts.

Many sites Web uses a fixed width layout and do not automatically expand to fill the available space. It is perhaps for aesthetic reasons or for readability (it is more difficult for your brain to long strings).

Firefox is not a built-in feature to change the layout, but there could be an add-on that does this.

I understand that you do not want to increase the font size, but... Firefox zoom feature also expands the page layout and the image proportionally in order to preserve the overall design of the site. This article describes this feature in detail: the font size and zoom - increase the size of the web pages.

If you find that you are constantly zooming all the sites by a comparable amount, there are modules, that you can use to set it as your default zoom level. For example:

  • Extend the full width of the browser color areas

I have two boxes full of colors, a green to the left and a gray on the right. They're just against each other in the middle of the screen, and I want each of them to expand the width of the browser, so green it extends all the way to the left, and those gray stretches all the way to the right, no matter how big the browser gets. How can I do this?

The way I would like to address the issue would be to create a rectangle of width 100% and use a fill image-based.

Create a really wide image in Photoshop, I would say more than 8000 pixels to make sure it covers the larger screen width. It just has to be some deep pixels as you can the bottom vertically.  Fill half of the graph with one color and the other half with the other. An image this size is less than 1 KB so don't affect the loading time.

Create a rectangle of width 100% in Muse. Set your image as the background fill. Make sure that the position is centered horizontally. The value of the fitting Tile vertically. The fill picture is shown below, as well as a screenshot of the page in the browser.

This will stretch and shrink with the browser, keeping a division of 50% until reduce you it down too far - if your design allows you to pin the rectangle, it will keep its position in all sizes.

    I hope this helps.

  • How to make the full width of the tab DataGrid

    I have a DataGrid inside a component.

The component part of a ViewStack that is controlled using a TabBar.

Even if the width of the DataGrid control is set to 100%, it never fills the width of the TabBar. Thus, for example, the TabBar fills the entire width of the browser (1024px) but the DataGrid seems only 200px wide.

How do you guarantee that a DataGrid fills the entire width of the screen, if that's what space is available?

How do detect you the Stage.Width property or similar in Flex 2?

    Thank you
    Martyn

Found the solution. Necessary to set the width of the ViewStack itself to 100% as well. It was resizeToContent = "true", but without the defined width. Now it works when width = '100% ', according to the example below. Note that you have to still need resizeToContent = "true" as well as width = 100% so that it resizes vertically to take into account the height of the DataGrid.

  • problem with the position of image in the slideshow width 100%

Hello Im having a problem with my slide show that is 100% browser width.  the slideshow container is set to a height of 300 pixels and the picture I inserted is about 1500 pixels in height.  I placed the image so it defined in a specific section of the image, but when I hit the 100% width button it positions the image down.  is this a bug or it's adjustable somehow?

    Hello

What you encountered is the default behavior of the slideshow widget, which, once the value of width of 100%. I'm afraid at this point, you can not edit/resize the image. So, to do the same thing, you will need to remove the 100% width of the widget option.

  • Problem with the height/width automatic after you apply the effect

    Hey guys,.

I have a panel that automatically resizes after some other materials is added. All the time there are a scale effect. Whenever I move the mouse over one of these children they zoom in and there, the height and width of the parent container is resized automatically.

However, I have a button reduce to this one with a Resize effect. I can resize the full container to a size of reduction (for example 40 x 40), but when I resize returns with the same effect, the Panel doesn't do not automatically resizes with added children more.

I did not define special properties on the Board early, but a property must be different now. It is not "automatic" and the "percentageWidth/height" is not working correctly because this command will cause the Panel stretch the full scene. Any suggestions here?

    Hello

What effects is usually that they value explicit width and height of an element. This means that before you minimize the container, these values are not defined. When you reduce the container, the explicitWidth and explicitHeight are set. Normally, a provision or a container will size the component with setActualSize() or setLayoutBoundsSize(). It does not lock the component in an explicit state.

Sometiems after effect of that speech.

    myComponent.width = NaN;
    myComponent.height = NaN;

This will reset the explicit values Nan and force the component available to re-measure and setting page on based on her preferred sizes. In your case, before that happens the effect of reducing

  • Storm: is it possible to resize the horizontal width of the Manager?

    Hi all

Is it possible to resize the horizontal width of the Manager. I want to create two buttons in horizontal management, set the border background. I use the following code to do this. It works very well. But as there are only two buttons and does not occupy the whole of the 320 width screen, frame border is happening only for these two buttons background. So I could see the spaces apart from the horizontal width in front and in rear areas. So I want to create a horizontal Manager himself with a width of 320, so that the layout border color indicates the full width. Is it possible to resize the horizontal width of the Manager?

    XYEdges borderColor = new XYEdges (Color.BLACK, Color.BLACK, Color.BLACK, Color.BLACK);

  • Images of full-width does not properly

I have a HP site I'm working on Muse. www.davidwilsoncv.com

At half way in I start a chronology of my experience and education. I want the time 'line' to draw itself circle in top to bottom because the person scrolls on the Web site. However when I tried to do, the full width images I use on the site load correctly when you scroll down. They seem to cut it in half or disappear. You can see what is happening here: www.davidwilsoncv.com/test.html

I created the effect by including a white rectangle that "reveals" the white line when you scroll down. I am not too concerned by the fact that, for the moment, it shows at the top of some images, I'm sure I can fix. Its more the fact that the images are not working/scroll correctly.

It's definitely something with the white rectangle moving toward the bottom of the page, this is causeing that it only happens when I add it in, and further down the page where I have not included yet, the site works well.

    Can anyone help?

    David.

  • Edge entertainment lead containers width 100% scaling down in Muse

I recently created a new site of Muse. The site is the default of 960 pixels wide. This is why "work plan" go to 1160 pixels wide. I put some edge on the page (files .oam) animations, and they are going outside this area of 1160 pixels. The animations play when the user makes a scrolling. Throughout the desktop site is a long scrolling page. Everything works perfectly, unless someone clicks on one of the buttons at the top of the menu (buttons scrolling anchor links). When they do, all the containers width 100% scaling down and to the left, revealing white browser filling, almost as if they do place the animation to appear in the browser window. The strange this is, it does not occur if the browser window is smaller than 1160 pixels wide or larger than the width of the entire animation (about 1440 pixels).

I tried to change the < head > tag in the page properties to have < name meta = "viewport" content = "width = 1460" >, but this has not changed anything. I also tried banging the 1460 pixel page width, but then when he is seen on a small window of browser (such as 960 pixels wide), everything is pushed to the right, instead of centered. I tried also to all items 100% width to be the same width as all the animation, which prevents the white fill view toward the top, but all browser can always scale down left.

I don't know what else to do at this point, and I'd really prefer not to redraw all the animations to fit in the 1160 pixel "work plan." No matter if no one can see them when they are outside of the browser window, because they are just small zig zag lines that go from one section to the other. I don't want containers of width 100%, downward revision.

    Thank you.

You realize that will only look great on your screen, right?    Background images don't re - adapt to windows.  So for people on larger or smaller screens, it won't have the same experience.

You could significantly reduce bandwidth by using a smaller picture with this method.

I know that you can have a slide show which is full width, but I want a slideshow with goals, not thumbnails, I usually use a Composition.  But when I select the Composition the full button width is not available.  What is a future feature?  Is there a work around?

Composition would be best for this, but if you want to use the slide show then you would need wrap the text with the image outside the Muse and then use in the slide show as an image.
