  Please launch the Console application in one of the following ways:

• VI Analyzer Questions: Change the default test configuration and screw "Pavilion".

  I have two things I continue to come through in VI Analyzer:

  1. are there in any case to set the default VI Analyzer so that it applies to all projects, I'm working on that?

  I tried to create a task in project A, registration of the configuration and any attempt to open this file in project B, but it says that the file could not be loaded. The reason for my question is that there are a few default options that just add errors that we don't care (e.g. Controls dialog on the façade - 99% of the LabVIEW code that we are working on is called from TestStand as code modules, so the front panel doesn't really count)

  2. can I score / report some screws as 'safe' for parser tests?

  Basically, some screws may fail some perfectly safe way VI Analyzer tests (e.g. non-stanard errors on a 'closing' VI, who doesn't have a case error structure so that the device always gets closed). I wish I had a way to mark the VI kind VI Analyzer would ignore this particular test. This would allow me to have a rule that says something like "before any construction, run the file configuration VI analyzer and make sure there is not error", as opposed to "run VI Analyzer and examine errors, decide whether or not they are important for the VI in question..." ». An extension to this question would be how do I perform a task VI Analyzer before building when the VI Analyzer screw do not accept files cfg for project based tasks.

  1. a project oriented .cfg file cannot be transferred between projects.  Could you possibly create a .cfg unrelated to the project file (under the option 'Start a new task' on the first page of the VI Analyzer) and use it?  He would have no file in the list, but it would have all of the configured tests as you want.  And you could start with this on your different projects .cfg file... you would just add screws based on file (on page 2 of the VI Analyzer), rather than have all come to you in a .cfg project-based.

  2. on page 4 VI Analyzer, you can exclude certain tests to run on some screws and save these settings in a .cfg.  This option is also exposed in the VI Analyzer API with VIAn exclude the VI.vi Tests.

• How can I reference the properties of a control in a cluster in an array of clusters?

  I am a newbie of Labview, so any advice is welcome on any code posted here.

  I have one "tick" test VI where the operator is required to boxes that are then "signed". Once all the boxes are signed correctly, the operator indicates that they are finished to enter data and VI requires that a "representative" ticks boxes same as the operator, even once be "signed." I created a "list item" control that contains a set of a string for the description of the check list, a Boolean control object and string for the operator 'tick' and 'signature' and a Boolean control and chain for the Authoriser "tick" and signature. This control is then initialized in a table to create however many controls are required (currently 10), make a table of the clusters. See the jpg for the front panel to clarify this point.

  In the cluster of list control item I want to have the 'case' Authoriser and 'signature' stay disabled and grayed out until such time as the Authoriser is validated (currently scan barcodes), how I want to activate these boxes for the entry clearance officer. I can not reference the two controls in the cluster of element control list in order to be able to change their property to disabled. I'm not implicitly reference the control. I seem to be able to access the array (i.e. a list item control) in reference, but not the controls element in this cluster of list item, this code is shown in "cluster in an array.jpg Reference.

  There are two ways to get a reference to an element in a cluster, in a table. The first way to begin with a reference to the whole table and deconstruct it. It's a pain. The easiest is to right-click on the item in the cluster, and then in the submenu to create reference. LV will switch to the block diagram, and you will notice that the cursor will hold a reference to the thing you clicked on. The third way to follow ("... no one expects the Spanish Inquisition... ") is in the create submenu, select the property node, then select the property you want.

• The engine through series control

  I'm working on a project that requires the operator to control the engine rpm and it is on and off a labview interface.  The engine is a Kollmorgen servomotor(AKM42E-ANDNC-00) that is connected to a controller of S20360-VTS of danaher. The controller is connects to the computer via the serial port.

  My question is if there is a way to control this motor through the connection in series of the computer.  I tried to communicate with is the use of channels but received only gibberish back. (I do really not understand communication channel).  The settings for the serial communication are correct (with the exception of flow control that I'm not sure).  Any help would be appreciated.  You will find info series beginning on page 57 of the manual of the controller.

  So, after having spent some time yesterday and today with Kollmorgen technology support.  I determined that t he car engine and cable series are actually owners and there is no way to interface with the engine outside of applications of Kollmorgen.  We tried to run commands and an engine test in Hyperterminal and Labview and the engine ended by locking for safety. Thanks for everyone entered btw, I learned a lot.

  We are now upgrading all SSIS packages with the 64-bit Biztalk adapt pack 2010 and have few questions about it. It works successfully.
  Question 1:
  In my direct SAP, I installed the function module and my old 32-bit adapter works. As part of the migration to the new 64-bit adapter, I give myself with new functional module in SAP that I put in the SAP test area. To migrate all my packages, I have to start to move from one card to the other, and both must function in the SAP LIVE system module. If this is the case, will there be conflicts over the 2 functional modules working for 2 different cards (32 & 64 bit)? If my transition period is 4 weeks, these modules can still work?
  Question 2:
  If this works it cause any impact in the production SAP system at all? I don't want daily data extraction to cause an impact at all.
  Please advice. I'm unable to find any relevant article on this.

• How can I have a graphical report for another test instead of only for the connection test

  Currently in our environment, we have enabled trends report function so that the connectivity for all test machines, we use the 4.3 BBFE and I noticed that in the CGI - BIN directory, we installed the bb - amcharts.sh and bb - doamcharts.sh of Quest software scripts. My problem is that I can't find any file configuration of this feature, and trying the Script BBserver troubleshooting I found no nothing related to this function.

  I read the post from Paul O'Brien on the activation of trendig of performance data. At the present time, the solution seems to work only on my RHEL hosts, but for all our Solaris hosts, I don't see any performance data sent to my BBSERVER, expecially, the $BBVAR/perf/$HOSTNAME dir is empty and the newspaper of our BBSERVER and BBclient, I don't see any warning about, here's a bbdef - client.sh which does not , could someone help me solve this problem?

  The information contained in the Guide of the exam are not correct as written.  The Oracle instance would end on the loss of a single control file.  Oracle documentation on the management of the control files is here:

  Management of control files

  It says: "If a control file is damaged due to a disk failure, the associated instance should be stopped. Once the drive is repaired, damaged control file can be restored using the intact copy of the control of the other disk file and the instance can be restarted. »

  "Stop" means that the instance has become unstable.  Unstable case act differently depending on the situation this way, the book is not (cannot) document the specific behavior that may occur.  While the loss of a control file means that the DBA should be abandoned to the instance, it is a very different thing from the instance to the destination of its own.

  The ultimate source is always the Oracle documentation. I checked the page of errata for this book to McGraw-Hill.  I only see an extra.  Submit this to them and get your name on the page as a contributor.
