  Hello.

  I wonder if someone is able to help me with my questions as I am a little confused with what packages are available for my intention. I use LabView 2015, .net 4.5 and Measurement Studio 2015 (for .net), Visual Studio 2013 update 5. For LabView, I installed IMAQ Vision Acquisition Software February 2015.

  After installing Measurement Studio and try its features, I am able to find functions like Savitzky-Golay LabView signal processing in Measurement Studio under the namespace NationalInstruments.Analysis.Enterprise in .NET.

  However, for functions of LabView IMAQ as convoluted IMAQ, IMAQ in correlation, analysis of particles IMAQ, I am unable to find corresponding calls Studio 2015 able. How can I get these functions?

  Nevermind, I think I've found my own answer. Measurement Studio 2015 contains only the LabView functions that can be called in the c# language. However, if you need features IMAQ, you can buy NI Vision Development Kit. The kit only supports .net 3.5.

  For new projects, use the NI Vision OpenCV support.

  I currently use the vi IMAQ to get a real-time picture out a camera with 1024 * 1024 pixels.

  What I try to do is:

  (1) get the image IMAQ (OK)

  (2) put it in Array (OK)

  (3) get 2 smaller bays, each containing half the lines, a high-ranking, the other a low ranks (not OK)

  (4) do some calculations with these tables (come / divide them) (not OK)

  (5) display the resulting table of calculations as a map pixels like the first image IMAQ XY, I had (not OK)

  Could you please guide in the resolution of the present? I'm confused litle...

  (Step 3), I realized that the use of the VI "remove table" could be good, but I do not understand how to select half of the lines (high or low)

  (Step 4), I think I won't have any problem to do.

  Step 5) this one I'm lost, I can only trace some waveform, but never a card-pixel XY as the IMAQ

  I think it is just a reference to the image (that is, as passing in a blank canvas). For example, I think you could re - use your image IMAQ coming - you might like it for reasons of performance, or because she puts up things like the size of the image / canvas. It is not very well explained in the documentation, but if you look at a few examples IMAQ integrated, it might be useful.

Well, no error but when I tried to view it, nothing appears. To be fair, it displays the field once in black and white and never again. I tried to use all kinds of combination of the ports between Unflatten and IMAQ without a bit of luck.

  I use LB 2009 SP1 and I'm somewhat familiar with the IMAQ stuff but I'm missing something here for sure. Y at - it a more detailed explanation of Unflatten Pixmap output ports and ports of entry of the IMAQ ArrayToImage?

  The solution is... to read the small print. ArrayToImage IMAQ does not have colors.

  When ArrayToColorImage IMAQ is used, everything is fine.

  Confuse quite well. It would be nice to combine these two, or provide a better description.

• Problem reading video image from the camera IP Axis - confusion of variant data buffer.

  I am writing a VI for an Axis IP camera.  He went to work, but I need to extract individual video stream images so I can overlay text using the functions of text IMAQ overlay.

  The thing is when I take a picture using the axis dll library (GetCurrentFrame), it returns a buffer size and a Variant representing the raster data.  The data is = 921 640 bytes representing a 40 byte header, and then the 640 x 480 x 3 raster data.  When I run the vi, I get a correct value for the size of the buffer (921 640) so I know it works.

  What don't understand me, it's the video image is placed in a buffer of type variant.   I don't quite know how to extract the raster data of the data type of "buffer" which is a type variant.  My apologies, I'm a bit ignorant in how to handle the types of "Variant".

  Does anyone have a suggestion?

  Just to confirm, what IMAQdx version do you use?  You want to get the version 2010.3 since it is the latest version: http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/1641/lang/en

  The next issue would be that the Ethernet cameras discover is not necessary and that it is only used for GigE Vision cameras. The VI was named before IP camera support has been added and the name is unfortunately confusing now. In any case, the discovery of cameras takes place in the background and is automatic. The VI list must list your camera. It may be worth trying just to see if the camera appears in first MAX. Note that the IP camera must be installed on your local subnet, so it can be discovered.

  Regarding the examples, virtually none of the IMAQdx examples included in help-> find examples should work.

  Looks like that you need NEITHER-IMAQ 4.1 (first quarter 2009 DVD) - you have a 3.8 OR-IMAQ, who does not support Labview 8.6.

  I have IMAQ, IMAQdx, Vision Module installed.

  An Image is an array of Pixels, where a Pixel can be one U16 or U8 to grey scale of images or a 32-bit value if he holds the RGB data.  It's the first thing you need to consider, what are your Pixels, i.e. to the data type that you use to generate the image.

  Now, many groups of the Image have sizes as 640 x 480, or X and Y 'resolution' (number of pixels of adjustment in the X direction and Y).  Note that 640 x 480 is a common size for cheap USB video cameras.  A minor confusion is that the corresponding table of LabVIEW (for example, of the U8 Pixels) will have the dimensions 480 x 640 - this makes sense if you think that "480 lines, 640 columns in the X direction and the axis Y.

  So now you have your table Image, so fill out the Pixels that you need.  This will depend, of course, what you are doing.  If you perform an operation of "analysis of the line" (which I assume means you get, say, a row of pixels at a time), simply create you your table Scans of line 1 d 2D.

  Here's a demo: it is in 2016 LabVIEW, so you will not be able to copy in your block diagram (unless you also 2016), but it is simple enough that you should be able to find the functions of the IMAQ Vision utility pallets (pallets).  See if you can "predict the image"...

  Following a previous question, I've done here, I discovered that I am able to install and use IMAQ.

  So I try to do what I need, is to record a 12-bit grayscale with IMAQ image.

  I read somewhere here that more can I go to save as 16 bit - I hope that it will not create problems in the final image.

  I have not installed imaq/SAV/vdm, so I'm going from memory here, but

  (1) you will encounter many problems with memory. you create a new image for each iteration of the loop and never remove. At the very least put an image destroy after imaq functions. The way I have always done things is to create the image once and then just re-use before destroying once at the end.

  (2) I think that your problem is perhaps the fact that you need to explicitly set the type of image in grayscale 16 on the imaq create functions, but I'm not positive

  Hi, just bought myself an old 5s iPhone which is big for me.

  I have some questions on how the Photos sync app works on my Mac.  I have a Mac mini desktop computer.

  This sharing of photos is incredible, but I am very new to it and get confused what is actually happening.

  I activated the option "Upload automatically to iCloud" on my iPhone but when I look on my desktop Mac that I do not see my most recent photos appear in the folder called 'iPhone' in my desktop version of Photos.  To get my downloaded photos I must actively download them from my phone.

  This folder has appeared after I connected my iPhone to my Mac via the USB cable.  I did this because someone on Facebook said.  This iTunes open for some reason and other things started happening that I don't understand.  I wanted to share pictures, not tunes and he tried to update but the Wi - fi wasn't working at the time so he kept failing.  When I checked the Wi - Fi works on my phone, it updated but iTunes kept trying to update.  Then the iPhone suddenly had all the records that I had done in Photos on my Mac, but the records were all empty.  Yet, all the Photos I had taken on my iPhone that day appeared on my Mac.  Now finally some pictures randomly my Mac on my iPhone as well and I do not understand why.  Then, when I open Facebook on my iPhone, the pictures that I had taken to a family visit appeared there with a musical slideshow!  What is everything?

  How does this work?  It works by sending photos of the invisible iCloud, which means that it requires action by me to make them appear in my desktop?  In this case, this mean I'll have hundreds, maybe thousands of images are circulating in the iCloud I can forget and end up running out of space on my iCloud?  Or do they stay on my phone until I have actively download them on my Mac?  If I turn off the automatic function, will I still be able to send photos to my Mac?

  If I delete a photo on my Mac, it will also disappear from my iPhone (and vice versa)?

  I have a lot of other questions but my poor old brain melting now and I forgot what I was going to ask, so I'll post them later.
