Control of the mouse in the FMR?

Hi, is it possible to control the path of the mouse movement when full motion recording?  I noticed I can do a FMR without the pointer of the mouse being recorded and manually add a pointer in Captivate; However, the additional mouse pointer is not always necessarily lining up for the speed at which the mouse was moving into recording.  Any suggestions?

Hello

The way you control the movements of the mouse in full motion recordings is to gently move the mouse!

Seriously, the mouse is ' burned in ' TMF and cannot be changed later. It's just ONE of the many reasons for THAT FMR is not really the best way to fly. The best way to work in Captivate uses mode capture slide by slide.

See you soon... Rick

  • How to make the difference between the mouse down events in the control of the chain (click on contour vs click Center)?

    Hello

I have a control over the chain on my UI and I would like to make the difference between mouse different events, that is to say, to be able to differentiate a click on the outline or the label of the controller vs right-clicking on the Center (between the control in "edit" mode)

The reason is that sometimes if the user does click not in the Center but in the scope of control, Labview fires the mouse event down but the typed keys are not registered...

Set the string "update as you type" and use instead a "changed value" event Now, the event fires whenever a new character is entered.

  • How does windows determine when "disable acceleration in games" for control of the mouse?

I have been using a program called Evernote.  I was faced with a problem with the mouse while using this program on several computers.  The problem is that the window of Evernote is active the mouse acceleration seems to stop working.  When I uncheck the box that says "disable acceleration in games" and then the mouse works normally with the acceleration settings that I chose.  It is as if Windows recognizes Evernote as a game and it is to disable acceleration as it is supposed to do... EverNote is not a game.

The mouse that I use is a Logitech MX 500 and a MX510 and both use the Logitech mouseware... not the setpoint drivers.  Others with the setpoint drivers have noticed the same problem.

My belief is that windows is disabling acceleration because I have the box ticked to turn off in games and for some reason any he applies this setting in Evernote.  I want to use acceleration outside the games then unchecking the box is NOT an option.  What determines when the parameter to "disable acceleration in games" is applied to the control of the mouse?

It is a Windows problem, a Logitech problem or a problem of Evernote.  These more to Evernote sees no problem at their end, assuming that is correct that leaves Windows and Logitech.

Once again, where to find?  What determines when the parameter to "disable acceleration in games" is applied to the control of the mouse?

I have a post on the forum of Evernote, which is here:

I imagine the inconvenience that you are experiencing. I will certainly help the question of fixing.

To help you suggest several steps to solve the problem, I would appreciate if you could answer the following questions:

    1. What is the brand and model of the computer?

    2. What is the brand and model of the mouse and keyboard?

    3. you receive an error code or message?

    4. is everything works well after running system restore?

    5. what exactly do you mean by "hadda restart in safe mode to use the system restore to just installing the sp1 b4?

    6. what happens when you try to play music CDs?

    7. what program you use to play the CD?

Please follow the methods and mark the question below:

Before you install SP1, follow the method 1 and 2.

  • random loss of control of the mouse

While typing in a blog on a Yahoo Sports forum, I lost control of my mouse. 1. I couldn't type more. 2 my scrolling function would not let me scroll, instead, it had become a zoom feature. That's all what I could do with it (the mouse) is the zoom.  3 when I try to click on anything, it will highlight it. If I double click, it will highlight the entire page 4 And sometimes the whole computer crashes.  5 I have to reboot to get back to normal.

I already looked for driver updates and there is not. This happens quite often in fact, but can go for weeks without that happening. Don't know what to do about this.

Startup Repair has worked 9 hours from WAU to go home 7-7 pro running. System is not blocked because I have control of the mouse and HD shows activity. What is the problem?

I would be out of system repair and safe boot mode:

Start your PC, just before the system loads the Windows operating system; Press the [F8] key function 8 on your keyboard which will launch the menu Advanced Boot Options. Select Safe Mode.

    Click Start
Type: CMD, according to the results, right-click CMD
    Click on "Run as Administrator"
At the command prompt, type: sfc/scannow

This will check for any breach of integrity

    Restart your system

    Hello

1 did you changes to the computer?

    2. this question involved playing the game?

    Method 1:

I suggest you perform the clean boot and check.

Place the computer in a clean boot state, then check if it helps. You can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: After troubleshooting, make sure the computer to start as usual as mentioned in step 7 in the above article.

    Method 2:

I would also update you mouse drivers and the keyboard of the computer manufacturing and check.

Updated a hardware driver that is not working properly

  • character controlled with the mouse problem

I would like to make a game in which the character is controlled with the mouse exactly like this game: http://flashdo.com/item/asteroid-wave-game/1053/full_screen_preview

I guess that the author simply used the code snippet that changes the cursor to an object. However, this causes a game to break the question; If the user makes the cursor off the screen flash and then come back somewhere else, the spacecraft will Warp to that location. Full screen, because the user cannot make the cursor off the screen, this problem does not occur.

The code snippet using drag-and - déposer, when cursor the user comes out of the screen, the object did follow the borders of the screen Flash. However, given that the user has to hold the left button of the mouse and the cursor does not disappear, it is not very useful.

Is there a way to control the character exactly as the game above, but when the cursor leaves the screen, make the character well follow the borders of the screen Flash like the drag and drop code snippet don't?

Also, is there a way to make the box where the character can move smaller than the scene?

    Thank you very much.

If you check the startDrag function, you will see that it provides the inclusion of the two arguments.

    startDrag (lockCenter:Boolean = false, limit:Rectangle = null):void

The first is to have the cursor centered on the object or not, and the second is where you can specify a rectangle which limits the area of traffic allowing drag.  What to do in smaller just step specify a rectangle for your needs.

  • Satellite Pro 6100: cursor moves out of control on the screen

    Hey guys,.

I'm seriously going crazy right about now... my problem is the following:

I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro 6100, Windows XP Professional with SP2, memory: 512 MB.

About two weeks ago my cursor began to move up and down whenever I pressed the space bar. It has gotten worse since. My cursor moves out of control across the screen (there are usually in the upper right or lower left) and I can not recover. I know for a fact that it has nothing to do with my external mouse (optical), because this problem also occurs when I use my pointing device. Even in safe mode.

    The thing I've tried:
    Ran Spybot: Search and Destroy
    Ran Adaware
    Xoftspy RAN
A ran Symantic Antivirus 10 (complete analysis of the system in safe mode)
    New keyboard
    New motherboard

Nothing helps. I'm this close to format my pc. Does anyone have a suggestion of what to do?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello

I put t he understand. You have changed the keyboard and the motherboard, but you did not recover the OS with the Toshiba Recovery CD.
The first procedure that you should do is the new installation of the OS before you change or replace anything on the laptop.

Unfortunately, it is not easy to say why it occurs. A friend of mine has a similar problem with the cursor. The cursor has jumped on the screen and it was not possible to open applications. It has (or service) resolved with the replacement of keyboard.

If the new installation OS doesn't fix this strange cursor, so I recommend you contact Toshiba.

  • Volume controls on the keyboard after the upgrade to Windows 8

I have a Touchsmart 520-1070 with the mouse and keyboard without wire factory.  After the upgrade to WIndows 8, the volume controls no longer work.  I tried the Recovery Manager to reinstall the keyboard drivers, but there is no driver keyboard under hardware drivers.

In the following device manager are listed under keyboards:

    HID keyboard device

    Keyboard 109 MCIR Microsoft eHome

    Keyboard MCIR Microsoft eHome

Microsoft eHome key remove control Keayboard

    PS/2 standard keyboard

Any report that they are installed and are working correctly and that the drivers are up to date.

Has anyone else seen or solved this problem with a Touchsmart computer?

The instructions below were provided by HP support.  This has restored the function on the keyboard volume controls.  The referenced below drivers are drivers IDT high definition Audio Device.  I am not sure that it was necessary to reinstall the audio drivers.  It can only had to remove the USB dongle and back to restore the functionality of the button.  Note: the USB dongle is located behind the VESA Panel to the back of the PC.  No tools are required and the dongle can be removed and replaced without shutting down the PC.  VESA panel removal requires a bit of a steady hand, pulling the lip which is close to the connections on the rear panel.

    Instructions received from HP:

Please go to the following link and check the "return of the system", article #7 is the USB dongle:

  • Controls on the front panel does not work

In the attached vi (I've stripped down to simplify things), I have a problem with the controls on the front panel does not when you click on the control to acquire it. It of probably something obvious but got me to loss.

    Thank you

It is probably because you are in the State to acquire until you're done absorbing.  Meanwhile, none of your other events can run.  You have events to acquire: let the mouse.  There is a setting for "Panel before locking up the end of the occurrence of the event.  Given that the event cannot process until your State acquisition is completed, the façade will be locked.

I would recommend another loop for the acquisition of your data.

  • menu bar popup not working if the focus is on the control of the chain

    Dear all,

I wonder if this is the behavior expected or if I'm doing something wrong:

On a Panel, I have a control of the chain; on double click, I opened a file selection box to select a file, then the file name on this control of the chain. After this action, this string is the active control, indicated by the gray frame.

I also have a menu with some defined keyboard shortcuts bar for example F2. It seems that F2 is not functional, long as the focus is on the control of the chain. It's embarrassing because the typical user action is selects a file and then pressing on Fx. To resolve this problem, the user should click somewhere on the Panel to move the focus to another control. Of course this could be done programmatically, but the extra effort is not to say necessary for controls ring or digital controls. Also in digital controls, I can change the numbers, but even if a digital control is the active control due to the edition of the F2 value works immediately.

    Help is appreciated.

    Thank you

    Wolfgang

I think what is happening here is that left double click is also used to highlight the text. So when you trigger the EVENT_LEFT_DOUBLE_CLICK, you're placing the text in the control of the chain and then also accentuating. It seems to be behaving strangely when the two of them occurs at the same time because of the order of the events. You can see that the mouse around when, returning from the file select popup causes the region highlighting to drag over the text. In this highlight mode, you cannot use the shortcuts for the menu. I was able to solve this problem by swallowing the EVENT_LEFT_DOUBLE_CLICK after you set the value of the control.

  • I can't resize any object inside a tab control and control of the tab itself

    Hi all

Since this morning I noticed that I can't always resize the object placed inside a tab control or the control tab itself.

I have a few objects (controls, indicators, etc.) outside of the tab control, and they are resizable (I can see the dark blue squares and I am able to adjust the object); Instead, any object inside the tab control is still not resizable (when I select the dark blue boxes are not visible and I can't access the properties of the object by clicking with the right button of the mouse over it). If I have access to the properties of the object to the block diagram, the appearance of her-> frame size is gray and I can't change the size fields.

It seems that something was changed when I try to adjust the minimum window size and appearance of windows in the proposals of VI, but I restore the previous values...

How can I solve this problem?

Sure, tab control is not locked.

If the tab control is locked that resize is not possible
