Conversion of Powerpoint 2010 in pdf format

Hello

I was about to download an Acrobat X os trial version, but I found a way to convert PPT (PowerPoint 2010) files to PDF format keeping all the custom animation.

I have seen that it can work with ppt 2003, do you know how I can do?

Thank you.

With the PDFMaker add-on that installs in PowerPoint, if your using PowerPoint 2003, simply click on the "Convert to PDF" button on the toolbar and you can keep the custom animations.

http://help.Adobe.com/en_US/Acrobat/Pro/using/WS0E7DCAA0-1535-4D8F-82C8-DF8FE22BF872.w.htm l #WS24454D2B-DD1D-48fa-9BCA - 60A1C4FBEF25.w

Microsoft has changed the operation of the custom animations with the PowerPoint 2007 .pptx file format.  Unfortunately, we are unable to capture these animations during the conversion to newer versions.

Acrobat has some page transitions available to that you might find useful: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/acrobat/pro/using/WS58a04a822e3e50102bd615109794195ff-7c68.w.h tml

    Hello

Could you please update on the operating system you are working on?

Is - this windows or Mac?

Also an update on the version of Ms Office installed on your system.

Do you feel it work with all the PDF' or a specific?

If you are using windows, try to repair Acrobat once and then see if that solves the problem.

Also, check the latest updates installed on your computer.

Launch Acrobat > navigate to help > check for updates.

Please, try the two steps and see if that fixes the problem.

  • Conversion of tabloid layout in PDF format

    Hello

I have a question about printing a file, InDesign CS4 - I looked in the forums, but maybe I'm not in the right key words, since I have had no success.

I have a file of 2 pages, tabloid format, InDesign CS4, created, in order to ultimately create a 4 page (8.5 x 11) newsletter typical, or tabloid (11.17) 2 pages folded in half in the middle.  My question is, after using the format file tabloid to print the newsletter, how I would go about converting to PDF, file that would be four-page 8.5x11, who would be friendlier to users of the web to download and print in their own home printers.

Is there more information I should give to help others to help me?

Thanks a lot for any help out there!

    Robert

As you have just discovered, this is not the best method to create your 4-page newsletter.

New ink, Mak facing pages, document, and make the layout in consecutive order, just the way that your readers will see. You can copy and paste from the original in this new document. This file can be exported to a single page PDF for distribution online or delivery to a printer, or can be imposed and printed using booklet print in the file menu. The benefits of doing it this way becomes more obvious when you move to an eight or twelve-page newsletter.

I've always been able to convert my word into a PDF file documents now all of a sudden its not working. It takes forever to process information, and then after that I waited it said that this service is unavilable at this time. I really need this problem fixed as soon as POSSIBLE because it affects my business

    Hi ashtonwintle93,

Looks like you may have an outdated version of the player. To use the service online ExportPDF, now, you must have Acrobat Reader DC. You can download it here: https://get.adobe.com/reader.

  • PowerPoint slides to PDF conversion.

    Hello.

I've been converting powerpoint files to pdf format for almost 9 months now and so far had now problem. However when I tried to convert this powerpoint slide in pdf format (here's the download link: https://files.acrobat.com/preview/860b57c6-6adf-45eb-8604-ebed8de2c292), the text are all converted into images. I was therefore wondering if there was a way to convert the file to pdf text preserving.

(additional info: I am currently using Acrobat 11.0.3 on Windows 7 x 64.) I have 40 conferences at least 30 slides with this same format. I prefer the text rather than images because it gives the possibility of formatting text in later)

    See you soon.

    Finally!

It has everything to do with formatting

PDF conversion does not support formatting 3d such as depth, gradient color in text color and color of the shape.

  • Gray lines during the conversion of Word 2010 images in pdf format

With the new Acrobat X 1 version, I encountered a problem whenever I try to convert images on a Word 2010 document in PDF format.  While all the lines on the document are black, many lines including bubble-notes appear very light gray and hard to read.  I searched for months for a solution without a bit of luck, and I tried other computers with different versions to check that it was not only my machine.

Y at - it a specific setting I need to change during the conversion to keep the black lines black instead of this weird gray problem?  See below, for example.

Previously, the snapshot taken from Microsoft Word:

    Pre-conversion.PNG

After the conversion to. Document PDF format, from Acrobat XI:

    Post-conversion.PNG

Thank you for the answers.  I found the problem, it was just a simple menu option.

Under Edition > Preferences, I sailed on the Display tab Page and disabled "smoothed art" under the section of rendering.  It seems that solved the problem.

  • Including the conversion unit during printing technical product or a supplier file in PDF format

When we print product sheet and files of the supplier, the resultant PDF print or file contains no Conversion of units.  Would you be able to provide PLM 6.1.1.5 code to add information to Conversion of units (in \Reports\FO\GSM$xlate$.xsl) of the contents page in PDF format?

    Hi Dulce,

I think that there is already a model inside GSM$ xlate$ .xsl which can be mapped based on the product data specification and printing Unit Conversion. It also includes data of TS and density. If you're OK with printing as well as data, then the change is very simple:

1 find a model that corresponds on specifications with the mode ProductSpecs - this model of the plug product handles (should be around line 693).

    It should look like

    ....

    2. Add the next node in the model (inserting just below of the might be a good place)

This model corresponds to DesignAttribute node product sheet XMLand create a section of density, Conversion unit and TS - you can find the model if you are looking for 'match model = "DesignAttribute" ' which should be about 5741.

I think that this template is not used anywhere else so you can remove some of the sections in this model.

Also, be sure to bounce the application so that the changes take effect.

  • Problems of conversion of a Web page in PDF format.

We have a user who is using "Adobe acrobat X Pro", and when it uses the function to convert website to PDF it captures any page, such as tables.  If another user connects and does the same thing, he seized the entire page without problem.  Is there maybe a permission that can be governing its access to capture the entire page?  I would be grateful for any suggestion.

Save a Web page does not work identical to print in PDF format.

Things like the images of background, CSS Styles and iFramed items (like tables) will not save, but they will BE printed.

See MVP Jack's response, but I would add two things:

    1. If you need a pdf authoring program, I recommend the free cutepdf.

    2. the statement "no one can open or view the attachment unless they".
use Windows Vista as well"is not correct. What operating system that they
term is not relevant, and it doesn't have to be the same operating system
than the one that you are running.

What version of Word are you running? In this case, Word 2007 or 2010, when
you save a document, the default format is not .docx. doc. If you are
send .docx (or .xlsx) files to a person running an old
version of Word or Excel, except if they have installed the Microsoft «»
Office for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007 file compatibility pack
    Formats.
    http://Office.Microsoft.com/en-us/Word-help/open-a-Word-2007-document-in-an-earlier-version-of-Word-HA010044473.aspx
    or http://tinyurl.com/29f5scy

Alternatively, if you want to send files, you can save the files
in the formats .doc and .xls instead of the new .docx and .xlsx formats.
but make a "Save as" instead of a 'save' and choosing the elder
    format.

Thus, it may well be that you simply have to do the above and not worth
    sending to all .pdf files.

  • Problem conversion EcoWin document embedded in PDF (Acrobat 11.0.05)

I have a powerpoint document which have an embedded object EcoWin in (graphic).

    1.jpg

If I use the version of Microsoft option to save as PDF in PowerPoint 2010, the document is saved in PDF format.

If I print the Adobe PDF printerdriver PowerPoint document, the document is saved in PDF format.

But if I use the option Save as Adobe PDF, the largest part of the embedded object EcoWin is not converted correctly - other objects and the text in the PowerPoint document is converted into a fine.

    2.jpg

I tried changing all the settings in the PowerPoint Adobe Acrobat menu - but the EcoWin object is converted still hurt.

Anyone have any idea what could be wrong, or should I just use printing to Adobe PDF instead?

    Thanks in advance

I suggest that you compare the work used for printing settings file and PDF Maker (save it in Adobe PDF format). Printing is fine if you pay to fill the page and that you are not looking for special features (links and others) to be transferred. If you want these other features and other, so you want to continue getting your selection to work.

For this one, let us know your OS. Also provide a detailed list of the steps you used to create the PDF file.

  • Question of feasibility: extract information from the fields to the PDF format

I explore options to collect answers to a PDF form.  Fields of entries by the user are created, the user saves the form in PDF format and sends the return form.  The data entered by the user entered in the fields can be retrieved electronically?  I hate the very idea of renewing the data entered by the user to get it in electronic format.  For now, the question is ' is it possible - extract the entries by the user of the data in an electronic format?  If possible, then I can begin to explore the format, etc.

It is worth noting since you stevat from the outset that it may be problematic to rely on email. Much better to send the form just like an HTML form. This needs a professional web programmer to provide web scripts, however. Also PDF forms do not work on some browsers and phones.

It is easy to assume that the big trick is to design the form. But it's just the 10% above the water. Personally I wouldn't consider PDF forms more due to browser issues. Same Adobe move to a dynamic conversion to HTML forms then why don't no start with a? There is full form service providers that provide tools to collect and analyze. For example forms of Google - create and analyze surveys, free.
