Convert number of years fdays

I have two dates with me, the task is to get the difference of these two dates, number of days and then convert that in years
for example if there are two dates 12/12/2000 and 12/12/2001
difference in days = 365 days
conversion from days to years: 1 year

We all built based on Oracle for the same thing? Or do manual calcualtion is a good idea?

In VB, we have the following for the same
Application.WorksheetFunction.YearFrac (Date1, Date2)

Kindly help me with this.

Well, I'm not why when 09 maps to 2009, 01 maps to 2010, not in 2001. Assuming that it should be 2001, use YYDDD format:

Number of years cannot be empty error installation MDCT

Hello
I try to install MDCT in Oracle 12 C in my computer laptop operating system Solaris 11 with the silent installation for purposes of learning Option.
I clearly mention the number of years that 3 in the answer file but Installation fails saying "the number of years cannot be empty.
s_dlgCalendarInfoNumberOfYears = 3
Can someone help with this problem?

What is the disadvantage of having a large number of years in the application profile? Saying that for 2009 to 2025? As far as I know, the tables in the db for the years are created only when the data is loaded for these years. That would mean there is no impact on the size of the db, as long as future years are not met.

Is this correct? Other thoughts on this?

As long as you have storage space, it is not really a problem who have many years in an application. From an architectural point of view, you can not store 16 years of data in a single application, but which may vary on your needs.

The reason why you must specify years in advance is due to the fact that the tables are created in the front, not on demand. As Chris, there is a tool that was released earlier that allows you to add years to an application. Before they released the tool, your options have been manually update your database or rebuild the application with more years.

Note, that if you build a lot of years, it is not a tool to remove the unused years is without doubt better to make a reasonable assumption, build the application, and then add additional years to the need instead to create a large enough time period extend also "just in case".

Patch 8493825 for HFM has a utility that can be used to change the number of years for an existing application of HFM.

The valid months are integers from 1 to 12. You can find the lines which are not in this value by saying:

Pass a format to Str, like the people of the country. HexString = str (Locals.Number, "%x")

To play with format strings, create a local number, right-click and select the Digital Format, and then select Hex to Type and watch how the format string varies when you change options.
