Convert Word to PDF, do not link web addresses

I'm trying to convert a word doc into a PDF using Acrobat Standard XI. The word doc has a hyperlink in one place and a web address typed in another place. The goal I'm looking for is to have the hyperlink carried over to the pdf and typed on this web address is non-interactive. The hyperlink is, but him typed web address is also hyperlinked, but without the box of a hyperlink. How can I get the pdf file to not connect not typed web address? There is no hyperlink box to remove.

Thank you!

It is a setting of the application. You can disable under Edition - Preferences - general - create links from URLS.

With adobe export how to convert PPT to pdf with notes pages it only makes the slides

    Hi Robert,.

We understand your problem, but with the subscription online, we can only convert the slides in PDF format. Speaker's notes would not get converted to PDF.

If you want to convert the speaker notes with slides, then you need to buy the complete PDF solution: Adobe Acrobat

Hope that answers your question. I would like to know if you have any other questions.

How do you save the PDF file of the word? What app shows the PDF?

' File > save as... "choose the PDF format. This method keeps links when the PDF file is displayed in the preview. It is in an earlier version of Word (v 12.3.6).

You may be ' file > duplicate ' & then save the file in PDF format in the new version of Word, or try holding alt (alias 'option') on the file menu, an option "save under...". "may appear.

  • How can I bulk convert word into PDF documents?

I recently installed the Adobe Standard 11 in windows 7 OS. I need to convert more than 4K of word in PDF documents. I was able to convert each person opening the word document by clicking on the banner of Adobe and convert to pdf, BUT how can I bulk convert them without having to perform this task individually?

The steps and advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you in advance.

    HI nenbori,

Why, Yes, you can do it!

    1. In Acrobat, choose file > create > create several batch files.
    2. Click Add files to add files (or a folder containing the files) that you want to convert, and then click Add.
    3. Choose where you want the PDF files to be stored and how you want the files to be named.
    4. Click OK.

I'm not sure that you will be able to convert all 4K at a time, but you can certainly make a few batches of good size. It really depends on your operating system.

Please let us know how it goes.

  • can I convert word to pdf free files?

Anyway is to convert a word in a PDF document for free?

    Hi bamagurl4life,

Adobe offers no free option to convert Word files to PDF format. However, you are welcome to try Acrobat for 30 days to see if it meets your needs. See www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html for more information. You can also consider an Adobe PDF package subscription; the two who and Acrobat will allow you to convert files to PDF format.

  • How can I cancel the account and get a credit for the last month and this month? Last month I was charged, but whenever I tried to convert Word to PDF it translated not but asked another charge.

It would be nice if Adobe has a helpline that they staff.  I guess that this Byzantine system is designed to counteract the customer so that they give UP.  I'm not a happy camper!

For these questions, you should contact customer service.

  • Mac: no PDFMaker, so impression of Word to PDF has inactive links

I wrote a fabulous document in Microsoft Word, which has the numbering of paragraphs, and many "insert > reference...' links in paragraphs." And it contains a lot of ' insert > hyperlink...' links to external documents. It's fabulous.

If I saved it as a PDF using a Windows machine, these links would function in the PDF file. Clicking on a reference would jump. by clicking on an external link would command the default browser to do the most obvious thing. Hooray!

But on the Mac, external links are not there. Not if I do "Save as PDF...". ', or if I do it via Adobe Acrobat XI with "Save as Adobe PDF".

If the link text is " " http://... " then drive PDF Devine there is a link, and it works. But if ordinary words have been transformed into a link, it is formatted like a link but it's inactive.

Please, how Adobe persuade to release PDFMaker for Mac? Or otherwise to do this work? (Adobe Acrobat XI: help and tutorials (September 2013), on page 46: "PDFMaker is not available for Mac OS.) However, you can still create a PDF of many business applications using the file > print command. In the print dialog box, choose menu, save the PDF AsAdobe PDF file. »)

FYI, I also asked this issue on the Microsoft side, but other than to discover that PDFMaker solve my problem, if it existed for Mac, which did not help.

    Versions:

  • How to copy all text blocks in a converted Word file (PDF TO WORD conversion)

We've scanned a book in English quite a some time ago. Now we have converted into a Word Document.

We try to copy all of the text and the re - format and save it as Word/PDF

The problem is that we cannot copy the entire document because there the text in different blocks.

It is very difficult to select each box and place in a word document or Notepad.

Could you please tell me how to select the entire document or entire blocks with unique stretching or an easy way to do it?

"Digitized" - who tells the story.

The output of all the scanners is a picture, a photo if you want, the paper source.

Photos of the text are not the 'text' himself, and there is therefore no 'text' to copy (not to mention paste).

For PDF files that maintain the image of the text which is at the exit of a scanner, you can open the PDF with Acrobat.

    Now use the Acrobat rock.

Suggestion: Use Acrobat ClearScan. It is more "user friendly" to make alterations to the characters / words.

Export to Word (use Acrobat Pro or one of the subscription services Adobe - ExportPDF or PDF Pack online).

DO not expect to do cleaning in the Word file.

Whenever the source is a scanner output you have pig ears & you can't do a bag hand silk one.

    Be well...

  • Cannot convert Word to PDF - please help?

I am running Windows XP, Office 2003 and Acrobat Writer 5.

I had the same setup for five years and could always secret Word documents to PDF format like this:

File/print - then I select Acrobat PDF writer in the list of printers, and then click "print to a file" and's done it.

I created thousands of PDFs in this way. I have also reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled still and always are able to print to PDF of programs.

Last week I even once reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled all the same programs I've always had. I changed nothing, absolutely nothing on the configuration of the computer.

However, NOW when I click on file/print from Word, therefore more Acrobat PDF writer listed!

And so I can't convert to PDF format.

Can someone tell me please how to return Acrobat in my list of "printers"?

    Thank you

The pilot to distill (if it does not work correctly) throughout make will automatically go the PDF file. You must turn off "print to file".

  • Get bookmark evil levels when converting Word to PDF with Acrobat 7.0

I am using MS Word 2003, Windows XP and Adobe Acrobat 7.0.

When you convert a DOC to PDF, all the features are perfect except bookmarks are located at the level of evil, that is, the first chapter 'Introduction' is the first level, that is desired; but the second chapter and later versions will be placed as the subelements of the first. It is a serious problem for me because I need a very precise conversion.

P.S. I upgraded the convertion of properly before bookmarks in the conversion.

So I wonder If there is a solution of parameters of Word or Acrobat.

I use Acrobat 7 because the versions(8.0 etc.) later has the running header problem. If 7.0 is also problematic. I don't know what version can do a perfect conversion.

I agree with Lori, it seems that you do not use bookmarks in WORD correctly I read his post. I also noticed that you show 7.0. These early versions often have bugs, and you need to update to the latest version of 7, currently 7.1.4. I would say the same update for AA8 namely 8.3.1.

Set the printer default for printer Adobe PDF before converting to PDF. Word Repagine documents when you change printers. If your default printer is not the Adobe PDF printer, then when the printer goes temporarily to the printer pdf for conversion you will see the change in the pagination.
