• {CS6} Copy and move a Bezier shape

  I created a Bezier shape by pen formatting mode, do not set no fill, set the stroke color and stroke. as described by posteer "Conroy" in a different thread.

  I have succedded by following an existing line (in a psd document) making a much heavier wavey using a Bezier shape which correspond with the above parameters.

  Now I want to copy and move this shape on another pale line make him much more visible in the same way.

  In the image Inline heavy wavy line on the viewers right is the Bezier shape made as described.  I want to copy and paste it on

  the other line corrugated on the viewers left... you can see how low it is... I could think of no better way to make them heavier and more visible.

  I'm not finding a convenient way to copy paste the shape/line heavy.  How this can be done.

  Is there a better way to do this from the beginning... that is, make these pale lines in document psd heavier and more visible.

  

  Target the the shape layer that contains your thick line.

  Activate the move (V) tool.

  Hold down the Option/Alt key, and then drag the shape on the thin line to create the desired duplicate form.

  Since I've upgraded to Snow Leopard, we weirdness happening within GoLive CS with respect to the copy and the function passed. He took a while to unravel everything that was happening, but here's the gist: If you paste text anywhere in the GL - one link in the link, the code or the text on a page palette - starting by selecting another text to be replaced, then trying to stick above with what exists in the Clipboard - the strangest thing happens. There is no visible change to the text highlighted, but it--and not the text to your Clipboard - are now "copied". That was in the Clipboard is now replaced by the text you want to replace. Argh!

  The only solution is to always delete old text before pasting - never try to 'cover '.

  As I say, I have not noticed that since I've upgraded to Snow Leopard. Since then, I've just adjusted to the situation since this happens nowhere else and I won't upgrade my suite Adobe in the foreseeable future - he meets my needs in all other respects.

  But I'm surprised not to find any mention of him in the forums here, especially after all this time. Assuming that it's to do with interaction between GL CS and SL, I would have thought that there is a patch or something now.

  Anyone facing this problem?

  Adobe won't pull a patch for an abandoned program, especially an old as CS. There were two issues from this one.

  Snow Leopard has incompatibilities with many programs (not only GoLive) that took place in previous systems. You'll find maybe less surprised by running your previous operating system.

  I forgot how to do something and so I hope that someone can help me.

  I would like to make a shape ~ a Rectangle rounded ~ and then I want to make a total of six exactly the same and aligned under each other with the same exact amount of space between them.

  I remember watching a video at once and it showed how easily do without just using the Alt key to make a copy or duplicate both etc. The author of the video made a shape at the top, then another downstairs and she went to the bar menu/options and chose something that allowed him to enter a number for example 6 (i.e. the total sum) and then boom!, they were all made and perfectly.

  But for the life of me I can't remember or find how it's done.

  Does anyone know what I mean? If so, I'd greatly appreciate your time! There a taste of big time for me.

  PS. Maybe I'm not remembering things correctly (I'm old, lol), but if such a thing exists outside of my confused mind I hope someone can explain it to me.

  The way I prefer, and you will learn with photoshop, there are always several ways to accomplish the same thing. Anyway, as I said the way I prefer, is to create your first form, in your case is the rectangle corners rounded, which is located in the toolbar of lefft by clicking and holding down the mouse button on the rectangle tool for a few seconds, a menu secondard will appear showing you the remaining shapes that are available.

  Once you drag the rectangle with corners rounded on the document canvas, just hold down the ALT key and drag the object on the canvas, this creates a second copy of this object. dragging whitht again once he ALT has always held down create another copy.

  The alt key is a modifier of windows key, if you are on a mac, you will need to determine which modifier key is equivalent.

  Once you have the number of objects that you need, you can click on the top layer which is this form then shift, click the last layer is of this form, this will select all the intermediate layers of this form. Selected whith the tool move, you can then use the icon in the top toolbar to space shapes.

  This can happen due to some problems of synchronization with the disc you are trying to map.

  I suggest you use the "subst" command to map a folder as drive letter. Please follow these steps:

  a. type cmd in the start search box.

  b. right click on cmd in the search results, then click on run as administrator.

  c. type the following command at the command prompt and press ENTER.

  subst g: "c:\users\username\Google Drive".

I want to move my documents together and download files from my drive c on a memory stick that I have only 32 GB SSD in my book and it is fill up very quickly. I don't want to lose days copy individual files and sticking them in the memory stick. That would be a common mistake. I don't understand why HP had to remove the left and right buttons and make life very difficult for its customers. They probably saved a couple of hundred by getting rid of the buttons in their calculation of costs, but made it impossible for customers to use the laptop in a productive way.

  Have you tried pressing the right and left of the touchpad corners? Most of the models without physical buttons have this function.

  If you want to copy the entire folder, you must make sure that the name of the new folder does not exist. Do not create the destination folder, but delete it if there are (attention! I would keep the confirmation dialog box).

  FWIW, do not change the extensions of file simply by copying the files to an external drive.

  How to move a folder?  Unlike XP
  where you can manage files and folders to any location using the navigation bar on the side I can't find how to do this.
  Therefore, I can't copy something on my desk which is located in the document or image folder.
  I can also get the files on drive G which is my on my camera card reader. Using the card because the computer will not read my camera with the cord. Help please - I've been searching help - no success.

  Open Windows Explorer by clicking on computer, then through the directories until you find the folder that you are eager to move (or if you already - as it is on your desktop, simply follow the following procedures).

  Navigate to the folder you want to move and select a simple left click and then type CTRL-C (copy) and CTRL-X (cut).  Then, go to the location where you want the folder (the parent folder), and then type Ctrl + V (paste) and the file will be either be copied or moved (depending on the option you selected).

  This same process will work with your G-drive (just select the files/folders that you want to copy/move and navigate to the destination location and paste them there).
