  I deleted the old version of Lightroom, as I had problems to import photos.  However, he must now be worse after downloading Lightroom 6. I can't import anything into Lightroom at all! Here are the error messages I receive. Can anyone help?   I'm not a MAC person, but I don't think you want to import into System\Library.

  You want to select a folder somewhere that is not in the directory system, but a directory that is designed for users to actually put their files, as in the Photos, Documents or an external HD.

  I did some googling, and it seems that your D750 needs 8.7 ACR (Adobe Camera Raw version 8.7).  My camera needs ACR 8.3, but apparently 11 elements does not support this update. I have a feeling that your 10 PES is the same (no support ACR 8.7) for your camera.

  So, we can:

  (1) use the supplied software to Nikon for RAW files, convert to jpeg, and then open in PSE,

  (2) download: free Adobe, something called a converter DNG (?) that creates a DNG file to open to post-secondary studies, or

  (3) buy a newer version of elements, where the version supported with ACR IS compatible with your camera

  I'm not sure 100% accuracy of this info, but so far, that's what I found. Personally, I do not have these options.  I want to be able to work in PSE raw, but having to spend ANOTHER $100 or so just for this feature seems wrong.

  I got the message "the following files were imported not because they could not be read."  I am able to see the nice preview images (raw format).

  I noticed someone suggested to change the import location.  I am "no techno" but I changed import automatic and also tried another location of file as well but got the same message.

  Really bummed.  Any help would be appreciated.

I tried to reformat the card in the camera, delete preference files, and play with the import settings... nothing helped... suggestions?

  "Could not be read" message usually indicates that your destination folder has write permission. Check the permissions for the folder and make sure that you have both read and write.

  If you want to import a file of C4D, you have two choices: use Cineware to import a file of C4D (so using AE to make) or install the correct plugins of Maxon to import a FAC with camera, light, object null info and all your C4D rendered files.

  OK, here's where we are at. If the files you have, they are Palm desktop 6.2 (and therefore the .mdb format).

  There are a few things that we can try.

  You have the file address.aba.old and it looks like a pretty nice size file.

  Rename address.aba that I hope that the name of the file that he had previously.

  Try to import that in palm desktop.

  IF this does not work then proceed to the next step.

  Go to www.palm.com/us and download palm desktop 6.2.

  Unfortunately, pre cannot change with all the CODECS and especially delivery only the CODEC, such as DivX and Xvid.

  Some users have had good luck with importing and editing very latest versions of these CODECS, in the latest versions of PrE, but this is rare. Generally, the file will not import, but if this is the case, then there are usually Audio with no video or the video is so bad, they are not not useful.

  For Xvid or DivX, I convert it to DV - AVI, and then import this file converted for editing. In my case, I use a previous shareware, DigitalMedia Converter 2.7 program. Now there are newer versions of DMC.

  Some users report such CyberLink PowerDirector and Magix MovieEdit Pro do a better job with the Xvid and DivX CODEC, but none is perfect.

  I have a vcf file created from 3 Samsung Galaxy s.  I want to import the file into the contacts list on Win 7 (C:\Users\920040000XX7\Contacts).  I can open the vcf well, and each contact record opens in a separate dialog box that I have to "approve" and it is added to the list of the contast folder.  However, to halfway through this tedious process an error message: "Application of error in Importer DLL C:\program files\Windows Mail\wabimp.dll.

  The error does not appear in the same place in the list whenever I try to import the vcf file.  I'm puzzled.  Why is the application error that happens and how to fix or work around this problem?

  I don't know why this fault arises with your "portmanteau" VCF file There is no doubt that Contacts Windows expects the VCF files only contact, but the fact that your file is partially read indicates wab.exe knows a little how to handle.

  You may have better luck using this excellent small online utility that can convert your VCF file of multi-entry to a CSV file, ready to be used elsewhere: vCard, LDIF/CSV Converter

• CS3 extended bridge not preview raw files from canon 40 d

  OK, I just loaded cs3 extended on my laptop and when I opened bridge the first time I got an error message was not the good King of the file. so, my next step was to update ACR 4.5. I intalled that and put the plugin in the file directory. It worked, but now my problem is that the bridge will not preview my raw files in bridge. I then went to tool and purge the cache and which also did not work. My next step was to update Bridge 2.1.1. so I went back to tool to purge the cache and it not even seen raws in bridge. I converted several to JPEG, and they appear in the bridge. I am at a loss of what to do next

  The cab card must be in the right folder and there only one copy.  If you have copied it the old copy of my being present so delete or rename it.

  The ACR plug won't in the master directory.

  It goes into formats of Program Files/COMMON Files/Adobe/plugins/CS3/file.   Must be a here - Camera Raw.8bi file

  Please download the files from cpcontext package structure which is oracle.apps.fnd.cp.request.CpContext
  go to the google or other search sites or download it on the unix application server $JAVA_TOP/oracle/apps/fnd/cp/application/CPContext.
  If it's a class file and then convert it to java file using java decompiler.
  then plalce the respective folder by creating the folder of this name. for example if
  the structure of package is oracle.apps.fnd.cp.webui files to create in the MyProject jdeveloper folder
  Oracle, then under oracle folder cretae aapps folder and so on...

  For some reason, I can't import files into Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 4.2.1 version .avi video

  Whenever I do, I have to play and get an audio track of calm and of poor quality with the video track showing the first 10 ms of the video in the space of three minutes.
