  I suggest you to follow these steps and check if that helps:

  a. right-click in the folder.

  b. click the name to sort by alphabetical order.

  You can also click on the name of the list view to sort the files alphabetically.

  I have a column in a PivotTable to SalesRep and moved this column in the Pages section of the PivotTable, so it appears as a drop-down list. When the report is run I want to the default view and the drop down menu to be the choice. How can I do that.

  You can try like this, create a combine with a similar request.

  For your particular commercial column write a case statement and do like all the choices.

  Drop the SalesRep column in the section of Page and check now, you can see the values Allchioces and indivitual.

  I am wanting to change the following formatting options on all text captions in my projects:

  Caption type

  Police

  Font size

  Font color

  Spacing of

  Is it possible to change this for all text captions, or do I have to change them individually? I tried to change the options in the style of the object manager, but I think that works only for when you create a new text caption, not for those that already exist.

  I use 7 Captivate.

  Depends: you are using the default style for text captions? In this case, you can change the default style in the Style of the object manager and applied it to all legends.

  Or you can edit a text caption, and in its properties panel choose the option "Save changes to existing style" of the upper part of the menu right (see screenshot). Both methods will work if you did not override the default Style of a legend to these legends. ATTENTION: Quiz objects can use another style.

  Is it possible to change the legend of default text in a specific font and size.  When I record, it works very well, Captivate keeps my 18-black police.  But when I manually add text captions, the size goes back to another font size of 10.

  Sorry to be a little late, I work with Captivate 5 all the time now, almost forgotten some features in CP4.

  The default layout for the text captions that you chose, is possible for text captions that appear during capture. I think you point to editing, preferences, default record?

  When you manually add text captions, there is not such a value by default (as it is now with the object to CP5 styles) but you can achieve your goal in two ways:

  1. Change the TC first you want, CP has a memory and all following captions that you add will have the same layout. This function even memory when you open a new project, the last remembered formatting will be applied.
  2. If you want to change the layout of all the existing legends (but this does not always work perfectly), try the feature "apply to all".
  3. Create a template with properly formatted text captions and use it for your projects
  4. Apply a design template.

• Captivate 5.5, problem: Timing automaticlly created in demonstration mode text captions.

  I make videos in demonstration mode and I really enjoy text captions created automatically when you click on a place. The problem is that thay are displayed for 3 seconds, while my standard slide is 5 seconds. I changed the default for the text of the legend 'rest of slide' and that works when I insert a text caprion manually but not when thay are created by the program. I can't find a place where this default can be changed.

  Sorry, I checked it out on a small project and it works perfectly. Will try to explain in steps:

  • capture the demo, all captured text captions will have a duration of 3secs
  • Select one of these legends of captured text and change its "timing" to 5secs in the Timing of its properties panel accordion
  • use the small curved arrow (see screenshot) and select apply to all items with the same style
  • all elements including the default capture the text caption will now run for 5secs

  Since it's a workflow after capture, the duration of the slide if it has not changed yet will these 5secs increase as well.

  

  

• Text caption disappears after 3 seconds, even if by default is set to keep for the duration of the slide.

  On each slide, I have a different title in the upper right. I noticed that they disappeared after a few seconds, I went into preferences and set the default value for the text caption, image, etc. to stay for the duration of the slide. But when I go to test it, they disappear after three seconds still.

  I'm doing something wrong?

  ... and if you do not override the style of titles, using the small arrow curved in the upper right of the accordion of Timing will allow you to propagate the change of one legend to all others with the same style.

• How do you define the default font size and color for the text caption and text boxes?

  When I click CTR + e to open the text properties box when you are working with markup tools, the default font size is 9.

  I understand how to change the font size for the individual text boxes but the size is up to 9 whenever I create a new box.

  Is there a way to set a default font for brand boxes place size? I spent hours searching and have not found one.

  This problem appeared only with the latest version of Acrobat Reader DC (15.017.20050).

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

• Customize the default text captions

  I'm trying to add a custom default value text caption. I am able to access and use it regularly, but I want to make the default to save time and energy. I know how to change the default values for the text captions, but I don't know how to add my customization of the list of options.

  To make custom captions to display in the list of available in Captivate captions, copy your customized .bmp and .fcm files installation directory in the Captivate:

  C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 3\Gallery\Captions

  and then restart Captivate.

• Default properties for the text field of the PDF forms

  How can I set the default properties for the text field?  The creator of forms set of font sizes that are too large.

  Right-click on the field > use current properties as new default.

  It will keep the new settings until the next time that you do this. It is not specific to the document. Do it separately for each field type (text, button, etc.)

  

  On an existing form, you can select multiple fields. A pro tip, is that you don't have to close the properties to move from the field to the field to the field. Dungeon opens and work faster.

• Definition of default font for the text box in Acrobat XI

  Projects that I am working, I scan in all copies of documents I acquire and add at the bottom of the first page of the relevant information, that is, the source of recordings, volume, and page, using the tool text box (or typewriter).

  In earlier versions of Acrobat, I could choose a font style once and it has carried over to any subsequent document, I proceeded. In Acrobat Pro XI, it always happens as Minion Pro and I need to change in Arial Black every time. Is there a way to define Arial Black as the default choice for the text box?

  I came across a work-around for this for Acrobat Pro XI.  It is a process in two steps and a little heavy, but it works.

  First, go and add your text box and everything what you need text.  After having done that, select all the text, then bring up a bar of properties of the text box text by placing your cursor in the toolbar area and select 'Properties Bar' top of the page, right click or simply press Ctrl + E.  The properties of the text box bar will appear (floating, but not all the time).  Let the selected text, and then change the font properties to what you need.

  Secondly, deselect the text, select the border of the text box, make a right click and then select "Make current properties default" in the pop-up window.  FYI, the property bar to the box text will be changed from a floating real estate bar at this time, so if you need to make more detailed changes, simply close the bar and back to Ctrl + E to call upwards and make other changes.

  I use Windows 7 64-bit.

• Change the orientation of the Viewer for the default web

  I have a client who loves the web viewer of folio. By default, the web viewer will always show the horizontal orientation of the folio (which makes sense because it's the only direction which corresponds to the size of the screen (more or less)).

  But in this particular case the customer uses a double Folio oriented with the vertical orientation as the main direction and horizontal orientation with minor elements just on that. Is it possible to have the viewer web show vertical orientation by default? Then, even when you change the current article to vertically and move on to the next you will see the next article uses the horizontal orientation again. So, in the end, you have to turn yourself each time during the navigation.

• Need help for the button to trigger on the text caption effect

  I'm very new to Captivate (only my second week), but am familiar in other Adobe programs. I'm trying to get a dynamic object that I made in a button to trigger an effect on a text caption. I scrolled the forums here and tried various things of the advanced actions for just using the drop down menus in the property inspector and nothing that I tried gives me the result I want.

  Here is a screenshot of what I'm working with.

  

  What I want to do is for the arrows for the buttons (and they are currently). When the slide appears first I don't want that image and the arrows visible. So when the user clicks on the arrow, I want the effect I chose (spiral) that will be triggered with the corresponding text.

  Looks like my property for each caption Inspector (the names are different for each)

  

  And I also tried to write a few advanced Actions that follow as well as tutorials that I found online, and nothing gives me what I want.

  When I preview the slide I can see everything on entry and then when I click the button to apply the effect. I rechecked the advanced actions and usually when I try these nothing happens at all.

  Is - it there anyway that I can get that works this way, I'm wanting. It seems that it should be simple and I'm right on it.

  The shape of buttons are all pause at this moment, it's OK.

  I just tried it out and see what you mean. The text is there from the beginning, and that shouldn't be the case. you expect it not to appear when the button is clicked. I have never used this spiral effect myself, but since you have no control over it, I mean you can't see where starts the effect at all, there is no visible path you have with the other effects of the entry. Either, you need to create a custom, effect whose path begins with text outside the scene, or a combination of an Alpha to + a standard entrance effect.

  Tried the first one with a simple left to a straight path. I edited the paths so that they all start at the same position horizontal and end at the same horizontal position. So happy with the leaders and Guides that we finally got in Captivate, they are very useful for this type of design:
