  Hi all. I am confused as how to create a hyperlink in a css object.  Basically, have a box, within the limits that box is text, I want the whole box to be able to not only the text hyperlink.  I see in the properties of the page at the bottom of the page in html mode, you can link the text, but I want the enire box to be the hyperlink.

  I'm linking to my Web site using the Web content overlay, but when I click on a hyperlink in my site I want the next page to load within the same superposition of web content. Currently, when I click a hyperlink, it opens a browser window which I want to avoid.

  You cannot jump to a different URL within a Web content overlay. By clicking on a link in a Web overlay content opens the in-app browser window. I'm not aware of a workaround.

Once I have save the page and preview the page in Internet Explorer, I can't click on the hyperlinks. There is a download button that downloads the Microsoft Excel worksheet.

• RoboHelp 11 - creation of hyperlinks within a heading

  Hello community,

  Just a quick question, tried to figure out but don't can't see how.

  I would like to create hyperlinks in a specific topic that the user will be able to click on and he'll jump the user to a specific place in the same subject (Ex: in section 2.1, to middle of some explanation, refer to the section of article 2.2).

  I looked, but may seem to only be able to set up hyperlinks to other topics or something apart from RoboHelp.

  Could someone help me with this?

  You must first create a bookmark in the topic that you want to access. Place the text cursor to the location of the break (don't select text), and then select Insert > bookmark. Enter a name without spaces. On the topic that interested to jump, create a hyperlink as you are accustomed. Instead of choosing the theme, choose the topic with the attached #bookmarkname text. (Bookmarkname is the text that you inserted on the creation of a bookmark).

• hyperlink within a scrollpane?

  Hey guys.

  OK Ive been looking into this during two days and really need help! I need the key to post a link to an external site

  I have my scrollpane on the stage, I created the mc and exported and bound to the scrollpane, I created a button on layer 1 in the mc related to the scrollpane and I created a 2nd layer for as3. Here's the AS3 that I used. When I export the mc to display the ScrollPane everything works except the buttons himself. I can see everything, but the buttons will not be a link to the Web page.

  I removed an a point between (DesignURL) and navigateToURL typo error

• Current state on the text of the hyperlinks does not work

  My menu is composed of hyperlinks in text, and each hyperlink is set to be a highlight color when the page that links is active to help the orientation of the site.  From the outset, the State did not.  I tried everything I can think of.  Initially, I had a problem with the States of both rolling and I "fixed it" tinkering with the hyperlink settings, but it did not help with the active state.

  I tried creating a new site recently to see if Beta 6 had corrected the problem without success.  At this point, the site is more than 100 pages, with somewhere around 16 template and is very difficult to navigate with an active State non-functional.  I would be grateful if someone had a solution or workaround for what does not replace all of my menus handmade with widgets in the menu (the look we're going for is very simple and is easier to achieve with a menu widget text hyperlinks).  It would be also impossible to eliminate the master pages and have a unique menu for each page, because it becomes extremely difficult and time consuming to modify and make additions as the site grows.

  Browsers show the 'active' hyperlink text State when you click on a link (that is, when the mouse button is pressed). It looks like you want something different - you want the menu item that has a hyperlink to the current page to draw in a different State. You can accomplish this in Muse by using the States palette. You can set the hyperlink on the text block, and then specify a text color different for the different States of the text block. Muse will make your block of text in the 'active' State if she has a hypertext link to the current page. It's a bit confusing that there is an 'active' for the text of the hyperlinks and an active State for the page elements...

• OAM in Captivate States files?

  My goal is to see 13 videos in a training course, hosted on our server running Moodle.

  Is it possible by using a "Text caption" State to import an OAM in this State. I placed an OAM file in a State of legend and published content. The click event has changed the State of the text field containing the subject of the OAM, it appears but does not play. The player controls should be added in the file of the OAM, who works?

  I tried to use web objects first in the 'States', but they seem unstable. They are intended to serve? I wanted to connect to my account of Viemo to reduce bandwidth. My videos to load in the State of the text, the Captivate player controls work properly but I can't find a way to keep the video to start when loading the html page. Can the java script to fix this?

  Forms and multimedia objects appear as available when you are working with the States, so my assumption is that they should work? Adobe helps me to discuss all of the features of the States and their objects, I could not find a thorough examination of these issues.

  Buttons unfortunately are not available in the States, unless I'm missing something?

  Captivate 9 is the first version that offers States of being for something other than a button.  It is still VERY new feature and has some "issues".

  I doubt if Adobe has considered to do some of the things you ask on (for example, the use of files OAM within States).

  My gut tells me that this feature has a long way to go before that can be considered "stable".

  I created a PDF file with Adobe Acrobat DC files.

  I have hyperlinks in it and I want if someone opens the PDF with a BROWSER and clicking on the hyperlinks that they will open in a NEW WINDOW.

  I couldn't find the parameters specify for hyperlinks but only editing.

  We could certainly help you.

  With your PDF is open in a browser window, you will need to run the JavaScript to open hyperlinks in another window of the browser that makes even.

  All of a sudden and without perceptible cause of behavior, my .chm does not display some hyperlinks within compiled help. Here are the internal references; No external file for the help system is referenced. I tried to recompile (locally), including the removal of the previous .chm before recompiling. Any ideas?

  That's all! Who would have thought that there is a limit? I had added a top level folder name, makes just a little bit longer, which apparently was enough to push the links most above the limit.   For those who encounter an error "Cannot find CSSSheet for the page." When you try to publish to Adobe Business Catalyst, the solution is to disable the feature in the browser in the advanced Panel of the properties of the Site. This error will be corrected in a 2015.1.1 update.

  For those crashing then publish or download, or encounter an other error during the download/publish, please provide more details about exactly what you're having and that you try to do when the error/incident occurs.

  You post on BC or using FTP Upload? If both fail, it is very useful for us to know if the file > Export HTML is done properly or crashes also or it generates an error.

  What kind of 'crash' is underway? Is there an error of Muse? If so, please provide a screenshot. If not, is there an error in the operating system? If so, please provide a screenshot. If it is an Apple's report of Crash dialog, please click 'Détails' or 'Report' and copy and paste the first 3 or 4 pages of the report in an answer here. If there is no error messages, crashes just Muse appearing to do nothing, a screenshot of the progress dialog box is useful for us to know where things are being export/upload.

  If publish/download fails, but the file > export to HTML works, please take a look at the size of the files in the 'active' exported file, if one is created. Customer FTP in Muse is not designed to download large files. If one or more files in the current folder are significantly more than 20 MB, it may cause the Muse to hang or crash during the download process. If you need to have large files on your site, we recommend that they be downloaded using an external FTP server of the program, and then linking to their site using normal hyperlinks within the Muse.
