    Hello Travoy,

Hello I understand that you have questions about restoring the computer and components of 86 bit that you see, is that correct? I'll be more than happy to help you.

Regarding the factory restore depends on how you do, if you are using the integrated partition you will not have any disk for the process. Is there a problem with the partition, then you will need to order a set of HP disc.

86 bit components are normally the default folder for your program files that should not cause the computer is running slowly. Here is a linkthat might help you increase system performance without having to possibly restore the system.

Please answer as soon as possible.

    Thank you

If you do not have a Microsoft Vista DVD, make a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.

It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.

It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.

Make sure you get the 64 bit version.

  • Create the ERD figure in DW?

    Hello

I would like to have something that I can use in Dreamweaver that will allow me to create a graph ERD of the Oracle database that I use to develop my Coldfusion code. I do not know if something like this exists; Google doesn't think so.

    Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

This isn't really something that DW can do.
Look at your database management programs, then Visio if you have MS
Office. After that, look for specific database software, not things for DW.

My PC boot upward and the rworks Windows normally but I want a repair disc in case where if I need to repair by using a full Windows, the system image backup.

The best way, install a second hard disk, HD format by opening cmd or start, type: diskmgmt.msc

In msc, R.click on the new HD, create a partition, then format, use the default settings. Once through, out msc

go in run, type: XCOPY C:\*.* D:\/c/h/e/k/r press the button run XCOPY runs automatically, simply agree to

in the DOS window... Once its youre, thru, any user of OS/data/files is now hard disk, it is a bootable

HD... In addition, D: is the new HD letter, if asigned another, then use instead. HDs are fairly inexpensive

These days, get a more than 350-500 GB, you can also, use as a storage HD, once XCOPY is complete

& you've restarted the pc... In addition, you use probably SATA HDs, if its IDE, then place the new HD on the same

IDE cable, set the nearest MB, defined as slave, original master. To learn more, follow this link.

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query on Microsoft Community and your efforts to resolve the issue is much appreciated.

According to the description of the problem, you cannot create an ERD and get the error code 80070057. The question might be if there is a corruption of system files or the responsible for the backup of files get corrupted. So, try the steps below and see if it helps you to solve the problem.

    Method 1:

I suggest you to consult the steps described in the article mentioned below and see if it helps you to solve the problem.

"0 x 80070057" error message when you back up files in Windows 7

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/982736

Warning: Important this section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click on the number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

    Back up the registry

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows7/back-up-the-registry

    Method 2: Try to create a repair disk in a clean boot state;

    Perform a clean boot.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts. To start the computer bot clean you can see the steps in the below link.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

    (a) start the system by inserting the Windows 7 installation disc.

    (b) when it gets to the main window, click repairin the lower left corner.

    (c) select command prompt from the main menu of the repair.

    (d) at the command prompt, type in recdisc, and then ENTER.

    (e) you will get the popup to select what drive letter to create the recovery disk to.

    (f) have a clean DVD into the DVD drive, and then select start.

It has to become your created system repair disc.

Important: To reset the computer to start as usual.

Note: When you have finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to start the normal start.

    (a) click the Start button, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, you must type the password or click continue.

    (b) under the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

    (c) when you are prompted to restart the computer, click restart.

Hope it would help. If problem persists always post back with the current state of your computer and the result of the proposed suggestion, we will be happy to help you.

    Kind regards

  • Failed to create system repair disc__

I am using windows 7 Home Edition, where im trying to do a repair system on a cd - rw disc. I insert a blank cd, then goto the menu to create an ERD, where I select to create the disc. the tool runs for about 5 minutes, and the progress bar gets about 3/4 of the full path when an error saying:

System repair disc could not be created
The unit refused to accept the order within the time limit. This may be caused by the device after you have entered an inconsistent state, or the value of the timeout for the command may need to be increased. (0xC0AA020D)

I tried several times and have not been able to create a disc.

I have exactly the same issue. Anyone can shed some light on this?

Also, when I tried to get the formatted disk (DVD - RW), Windows 7 "cannot complete the format."

The aforementioned dwonloadable recovery disk is no longer free. And new discs are out of reach for me now.

    Eventually, I discovered why.

It's because I forgot to install the driver supplied by the manufacturer, to the same SATA II, which governs my DVD burner, so let Windows 7 have no choice but using its own standard driver.

After you have installed the required driver, the Windows 7 system repair disk was created successfully.

  • Unable to create a Windows 7 system repair disc

Hi, I see a lot of posts on this topic on the internet, and sometimes, people seem to be able to find a solution by uninstalling specific software, etc., but there seems to be a generic instability. I have a new installation of windows 7 64-bit, fully updated, but am unable to create a repair disk through the normal channels (maintenance, backup & restore, or directly in the command prompt). They seem to everyone to start the same program, that is not instantly with the message "ERD of Microsoft Windows has stopped working" - a shaded box indicates the dialog to select a drive, is nothing to do with the output device, but immediately an error. I guess I can create a disc by various ways of downloading, but Microsoft is not possible to debug the issue? -It is very unacceptable to have no indication as to what went wrong. I see other people have provided extensive debugging information, but as far as I can see no expert never responded with an analysis of these data, except to the list of ordinary forms of the program to failure!

When you select the option to create an ERD, the first window should allow you to select the destination dvd player. Are saying you that you do not get it right? Its actually under control panel > system and security > backup & restore

Also, I guess you want to tell your restore disk of PC makers, from the hidden restore partition to create. If this is the case how do you create the recovery disk depends on the manufacturer of the PC, this isn't an option of victory

  • Is it legal to download an ERD in Windows 8?

    Hi people,

I had a lot of problems of cloning of HARD drive to my laptop with Windows 8 for one SSD after-market. My last attempt was to follow the article below, I found in this forum:

    http://www.ssdfreaks.com/content/664/how-to-clone-HDD-to-SSD-with-Windows-7s-own-software

Unfortunately, Windows 8 refuses to create an ERD for me (-error "the parameter is incorrect (0 x 80070057) '), maybe because I removed some HARD drive partitions even if the article says to do. This is necessary to complete the instructions in this article.

Is it legitimate to download a disk to repair Windows 8 on the internet because I can't build my own? Without this disc, I can't transfer Windows 8 on my SSD and I might be back to Windows 7 because I appreciate the performance gains of an SSD on all features of Windows 8. However, I desperately want to have my cake and eat it :), but am running out of ideas.

Any thoughts would be appreciated kindly.

    Kind regards

    Chris

Reinstall the original hard drive with the installation of Windows 8 of Dell.

See if you can retrieve the product key.

Here are four utilities, which can display your product keys if they are still there:
    Belarc Advisor: http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html

and RockXP: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4138.html which has additional features

Use the product key to a facility (this is not guaranteed, because I don't know if the link below is only for Windows 8 Pro).

    Hello

The boot manager has been damaged therefore Vista cannot start.
I think you should download and create an ERD Vista as mentioned here
    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/windows_vista-system/creating-system-recovery-disk-for-Windows-Vista/4ed7e54e-997f-4977-9a79-0b7a7fdee149

Here, you should be able to download the 32-bit or 64-bit
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/141820-create-recovery-disc.html

Then fix the Vista installed by using the repair console.
I think you have a good chance to repair the fault Boot Manager.

But in case this would not be in a position, you will need to reinstall the operating system once more.

You must use a different computer to download and create the ERD.

The notice is given, so that you have a way to REPAIR your broken computer.

The idea is that you use the computer that you use at this time to get here, to download the ERD, and then use on that broken.
