Create bookmarks using Acrobat Pro page headers

My father uses Acrobat Pro for his work. He asked me how to add titles to each page using the text of bookmarks in the PDF document. (He assures me that this feature exists, but don't remember how) I tried out, but can't find it or the other. What I find when adding headings are normal static text / page numbers / dates.

What I want can be better understood from this image:

This isn't a feature of Adobe Acrobat.

  • How can I create a button print a PDF using Acrobat Pro, that will also work on iOS?

I created a button to print a PDF document using Adobe Acrobat Pro on my Mac.  The Print button works perfectly on different browsers on my Mac and Windows (running under Parallels Desktop) as well.

When I open the document on my iPad button print does not yet appear.  I'm guessing that it is a problem with Flash, but it can be informed about East of the action of the button to access the print menu item that does not exist in iOS.

Is it possible to create a button print using Acrobat Pro, which works on a Mac and Windows, but also on iOS?

To start printing by clicking on a button, the button must have either an action of type "run the menu item" or use the method JavaScript 'print '. As you may have guessed, the former will not work because there is no menu item to run, and may not work if the particular PDF Viewer you're using supports. I'm not aware of all that are on iOS.

The button does not appear because you are probably opening in the default PDF Viewer, which does not support forms. If you open the form in Adobe Reader, you will see the button but it wouldn't work.

  • How to create a small field that scrolls a series of images. (using Acrobat Pro)

Using Acrobat Pro, we need to use a small field to track the progress of the student.  Successive clicks, the field would scroll:

    -a number (which identifies an element of study);

-same number surrounded by a circle (indicates the element is assigned to the student).

-the same number with a check mark (indicates the element is completed by the student).

    -return the original number.

This could probably be managed by cycling through a series of small images when the user clicks on the field.

The field of the "checkbox" allows only a control to add to the field.  It does not have the circle and does not work across several States.

The area of the "text box" could enable this capability, but if so we are not able to configure correctly.

    All solutions?   Thank you!

An example of PDF file that shows such a thing: https://workspaces.acrobat.com/?d=xRrSL3NBQy2hu5qFANPvqA

The stoplight illustrates this. You can use what you want for the button icons. It uses JavaScript in various places, so you will have to study to see how it works. Post again if you get stuck.

  • Using Acrobat Pro of XI - form downloaded from the State Office is the filling of cells from a different cell randomly

I use Acrobat Pro XI - form downloaded from the State Office is the filling of cells to fill with another cell, and the news does not go to the correct cell. That is my family name of Page 1 is filling in another area more later in the application on page 17, where I'm supposed to add an account number. The fields are related so I if I change one, they both change. What is happening about 20 + different cells with different texts / information. Any ideas on how I can break the link between information in cells? Thank you

They threw the form creation process. Probably copied and pasted the form fields without renaming, obliging to have identical values.

Report this problem to them and request a corrected version of the file. If you have Acrobat you can rename the fields yourself (if the file is not secure).

  • Using Acrobat Pro XI, can I have a jpg converted into searchable pdf file?

I have several jpg files that I will be the conversion to pdf files. I then do these searchable pdf files?  If so, how should I do this? I use Acrobat Pro XI.  The majority of information in the files is text.

    Yes, you can do it.

Go to tools > text recognition > in this file. You can define the OCR (OCR language and style of OCR output) parameter according to your requirement and run OCR now.

Hope it will solve your problem.

    Thank you.

  • I am paying the subscription monthly, but unable to use Acrobat Pro, as I should be able to. Dead money!

I am paying the subscription monthly, but unable to use Acrobat Pro, as I should be able to. Have you tried to resign in

Hmm, I have an idea of the problem, but it would be a rather misleading message if I'm right.

You read this 215.006.30121 'Classic' of the SUBJECT, Yes? This means that you have installed the classic version, which is not updated with new features and is designed only for people who have a time to purchase. The version for subscriptions is "continue". I recommend that you uninstall the CLASSIC and CONTINUOUS download instead. Many people recommend using the creative Cloud application to handle this, even if I do not have.

Please let us know how it works.

I have used Acrobat Pro DC to embed a video clip in a video and, when prompted, updated my copy of Flash Player to 17.0. Now, even if the Adobe site confirms that Flash Player 17.0 is installed and enabled on my system, the video still does not play when I click on the Start button. Instead, I keep getting the prompt direct me to install the necessary revision of the Flash Player. Can any clarify what is happening here and I need to do to remedy this? You must install the NPAPI Flash Player (for Firefox, etc) not the plugin for Internet Explorer ActiveX plugin. Acrobat cannot use the ActiveX version.

  • How to create the Adobe Acrobat Pro DC page template?

I'm looking to duplicate a dynamic page based on the value of a text box. For example if the text box has the number 3 as a value, there will be 3 copies of this page. I suppose that this would be using page templates, but I can't find a way to create them in Adobe Acrobat Pro ms. If this is not possible, is there another way to achieve what I want?

It's hidden: Tools > organize Pages > more (drop down menu) > Page templates

In the future if you have trouble finding something, select Tools and in the search box, type what you are looking for and he should be among the results.

    Hello

Acrobat X doesn't support office in 2013. You will need to upgrade to Acrobat 11.0.1 or higher to use the feature to create a PDF file.

Otherwise, you can open the Word file and print to PDF using the Adobe PDF printer. But it is not as rich as the one created by PDFMaker.

    Thank you

  • Re: Filled form fields not printing - using Acrobat Pro on Windows 10

I have the same problem, except that there is no system of Mac involved. I've created a registration form to fill live events to a charitable organization for which I work and distributed. I had checked that filled in forms may be saved with their data, but I don't actually print a. Today, I downloaded the form inside and tried to print it. Fixed content of the form prints normally, but the content of the form fields is not printed. I have the print options configured to print 'Document and annotations', as suggested elsewhere. A test, I used Photoshop to open the file. It can be printed (default settings) with the fields filled in displayed as it should show. On my own system I open and print the latest version of Acrobat Professional. I also tried to print from another system, using Acrobat Reader DC - this has also led the white printing. Both systems are running Windows Update 10 anniversary. The original form (empty) can be downloaded from http://ncinvestiture.holysepulchre.net/images/regformnew.pdf. I can send you my completed form if you want to give me the necessary details.

    • Open the document in Acrobat Pro ms
    • use tools > form prepare
    • Double click on a form field
    • change the settings
    • continue with the next field
