• Using a single server for Multiple Instances of the APEX HTTP

  Our company DBA asked if it would be possible to outsource the server part of HTTP of APEX from DB servers. In other words, it would be highly preferable as DB servers * only * start the Oracle database software.

  We know that we can install the HTTP server on another box, but in thinking how to that, we were wondering if it's really necessary to create a separate HTTP Server installation for each instance of the APEX. What we would really like to do, is have a HTTP server for all our our boxes of Dev and several (but not one) for each of our superior environments; implementation stage, qa, prod, etc..

  Right now, each instance has a file single dads.conf on every box of DB. So, if we we to try to consolidate, we need some way to incorporate several dads files and associate each correct instance.

  Someone has already done this or (preferably) to have some examples?

  Yes, you can consolidate permanently. It is a common practice that was also available with Apache/mod_plsql, OSH and now with APEX earphone 2.

  I have the following code on the frame1 of my film I want to apply to multiple instances of the same clip:

  specifiedClip_mc is in subClip1 to 4. Is there a way to do it once without have to say:

• Re-defining a variable for multiple instances

  The code below is inside a loop to create multiple instances of a class that place markers on the scene. The event handler opens a panel of information when a marker is clicked the first time and closed when you click the second time.   You might be able to make the fenetreouvrir a marker property itself (encapsulation) and let the marker to manage internally what you describe. Setting fenetreouvrir to false for all the markers might be a marker class method.

  It's all about media layer. You may need to ask Veritas netbackup admin to fix the problem and resubmit the backup after that.

• Create PRN files for use with the software E-Tran. Unable to set the port to a local printer in Windows 7 with WordPerfect.

  As a reporter, I provide digital transcripts safely to my clients.  I have a Kodak printer and all drivers are up to date.  I use WordPerfect 12 for my transcripts.  E - Tran is the software used to process the transcripts.  It requires one. PRN file.  I save my document as a .wpd file.  I click, file, print, and I check the box print to file provided.   This creates the .prn format.

  I then download this file... or I tried all day to do it, in the software E-Tran.   It will NOT work.  The file is empty.  Nothing is there.  I tried to create a local no port in windows for printing of file installation... no good.  Error messages tell me: function page failed.  ???  Help!

  I suggest you to convert wpd (WordPerfect) format .prn file before trying to download it.

• 2015 CC InDesign creates massive file for simple documents sizes

  I recently upgraded from CC 2014 2015 and, since then, all my InDesign files that have been created since then, are enormous. 37-41 MB on average for a letter page size document 1-2, all of the text, no image. Save backwards does not change the size of the file, or the setting for the web, digital, etc.

  I am writing on the same file (that's our quote invoice and job) I am almost 8 years now without problems so far. It's as simple a file that can be obtained. Why 2015 CC making these massive single files in size? They use to be only 1 MB. I can't send back to my partner at that size.

  OK - next step is to create a new blank document and copy and paste elements of your model on it. Maybe that do half first or section at a time, if you know what I want to say and keep save and check the size of the file. This will help you determine if this is a problem with the document itself, or one of the elements in the document.

• Creating generic actions for multiple objects

  It's something I have interviewed on during some time and am finally get around to him asking.

  I want to simplify the coding and I was wondering if there was a way to write a script that could be used on multiple objects without having to write it to treat each object individually.

  I build a simple menu, where I want the menu link to increase and intensify when the button because it is reversed and then return to its original position when the mouse leaves. I know I can write this by button and point, but wanted to see if there was a way to write once and then apply the action to all.

  E.G.

  My menu is composed of 5 elements (and the respective buttons) home_mc (home_btn), menu_mc, dining_mc, contact_mc, specials_mc.

  Why not just add the invisible area of these attachments menu? You can always have a single invisible clip - and place instances of it in each button... No real reason to keep them separate is there?

  If you must keep them separate so that you could use a convention assignment of names - like invis0, invis1, etc. and menu0, menu1, etc.. Then you might do something like:

• I get "We cannot verify who has created this file" for each file PPT or PPTX, that I opened on my local network (Win 7 only, not win 8)

  I searched around and I may have missed, but I have a specific problem that just started today (01/04/2014).  I have 3 PCs in a local home network and they all have been sharing things very well so far.  PC1 is my computer main storage support (Windows 7), another is a laptop (Windows 7) and a third is a laptop (Windows 8.1).

  On the Windows 7 laptop, when I open Windows Explorer and navigate my way to a file I want to open (which is stored on PC1) and double-click the file to open it FOR just open using the right program (PowerPoint2007) I fully installed on Win 7 laptop.  Also note that "Microsoft Office (2010)" came Pseudo-aleatoire loaded on the laptop, but I put the default value for all of the PPT and PPTX files to be opened with PowerPoint2007.  I've had a few hiccups in the past where this version not desired, non-fully-loaded trying to help me open files with PowerPoint2007, but right now all files are set to open with PowerPoint2007.

  So I'm not online, I don't use IE, and this is only the case with the PPT and PPTX files and only on my laptop Win 7.  DOC/DOCX and XLS/XLSX files open fine with the 2007 version of Word and Excel respectively.  All files, including files, PPT and PPTX on PC1 are operable without problem on the laptop of Win8 with PowerPoint2007.

  No idea why this would suddenly start to occur?

• Support for multiple instances of vSphere vCenter

  I installed the demo of (construction 4.4.0 - EE #1509 - July 28, 2010 - Release Build) Hyperic 4.4 company Web site to test the support of monitoring VMware vSphere 4.0.
  
  I have installed an agent Win32 on W2003 server which hosts the 4.0U2 of vSphere vCenter server and configured it. Once resources have been configured, I edited the VMware vCenter resource to add a user/password valid and after a short while the ESXi host servers and virtual machines appeared in the vSphere browse/HQ screen. Everything works well.
  
  I then tried to add a different vCenter server with its own ESXi host servers (with a new agent installed on W2003 this server) and that's where the problem starts. After that I added the name of user and password in the detail of the vCenter inventory, new ESXi and VM guests begin to appear under "recently added". When I go to the screen of vSphere browse/HQ original vCenter disappeared and a mixture of the other vCenter servers host and its own host servers appear under the vCenter newly added.
  
  I would be able to monitor the 2 different vCenter servers?

  Multiple vcenter instances are supported.  When you configure the resource, be sure to use the IP address of the box instead of the default loop address.  When HQ sees multiple vcenters air-conditioned and come with 127.0.0.1 in the URL of SDK, it blends.  Configuring IP should solve the problem you are experiencing.

• Duplicate the layout for multiple instances

  You can not, Ultiboard does not support the palletizing.  If you try to block the copy, the Board of directors within the workspace, it automatically updates all values refdes... which means you will have to manually change each part in order to take account of the good value... who live... what you need is Gerbtool.  Find a copy of the said and it will generate the copies you need and create palettes of your Board well.

  Is there way in the cli of power for a list of the location of each file in the configuration of the virtual machines in a cluster?  or even each file configuration on data warehouses?

  The used connection ID is an admin on the pc.
