create forms

I scanned a PowerPoint document in Adobe Reader Pro and you want to add editable fields so that participants can take notes and save them to the PPT in PDF.  How to create these areas?

and here is a link to the free 30-day trial download of Acrobat: Download Adobe Acrobat products. Standard, Pro | DC, XI, X

  • How to create forms on a space empty?

    Hi all!

I'm fairly new to Illustrator, and I'm trying to create a photo for my FB cover photo montage. I know that you can do in Photoshop (and it's probably easier), but I wanted to do a test anyhow since Illustrator allows you to things of scale without loss of quality. But I have met a few obstacles:2016-07-07 (1).png

The blue shapes are the places where the photos are going to be.

    (1) is it possible to create forms of empty spaces?
    (2) how to fill forms with pictures by far that I can zoom in/out photos and set them to create the photo collage?

Will be really grateful for your help.

I know that you can do in Photoshop (and it's probably easier), but I wanted to do a test anyhow since Illustrator allows you to things of scale without loss of quality.

I would do it in Photoshop. It is indeed easier, it makes more sense, since you work with pictures that will end up on the web, and Illustrator can do anything for your photos without losing quality of high-end.

You can first create your photo frames in Illustrator, but I would like to paste them into Photoshop as shape layers.

    (1) is it possible to create forms of empty spaces?

You can use the generator form for this tool. Or you could draw a rectangle the size of the total area, select this option and all of your purple forms and click on the dividing line in the Pathfinder palette.

    (2) how to fill forms with pictures by far that I can zoom in/out photos and set them to create the photo collage?

The shape to create a clipping for each photo mask. Then you can use the direct Selection tool to select the photo, and it fits with the scale tool.

  • How to create forms in pdf format with text for example which can be rewritten

I'm using a mac (version 10.10.2), using acrobat pro. Originally created the document in InDesign, then create form fields in acrobat pro.

Sorry for the somewhat confusing title. Basically I have a pdf I want to be able to change.

I've set up the PDF with form fields that works perfectly - however, I would like to have a sample text in the areas that can be "crushed" by a new text.

    Example of

If the field were asked for the date, it would be in gray italics an example of date, (ie. 01.01.2016)

Then when you clicked on the ground this example text would disappear and then when you typed in the new data, it would appear in normal black text.

I can't understand how to do this on a form which is not online, as this form will be sent from one person to another and not hosted on a site.

    Help would be apprectated!

Yes, the default value is under Options.

Two scripts have to go under Actions, Yes. You select the trigger first (on the focus and then on Blur) and the type of action is "Run a JavaScript" then when you add it to the list of Actions, a window will open. Paste in the code and press OK. That's all...

  • Creating forms

I have DC of Acrobat Reader.  I am able to create forms that can be filled either on my website or otherwise?  If not, what type of Acrobat do I need to create my own forms to be completed by the beneficiary of the form?  Also must the beneficiary have something other than the basic player?

    Hello

With Adobe Reader DC, you can only view and print PDF files (with a few other basic as her commenting, filling out forms, etc.). If you want to create PDF forms and wants beneficiaries to fill you need Acrobat Pro DC. Recipients can complete the form using Acrobat Reader DC which is a free application.

    Thank you

I created form in adobe acrobat X 1 Professional.

Now, I want to put logic on a field.

I want that the document will be closed if someone between age under the age of 18. and display a message for minors?

The final document is a little drastic... Perhaps simply display an error message? In any case, you can do it like this, as a custom field validation script:

    if (event.value && Number(event.value)<18) {
        app.alert("You must be an adult to fill in this form!");
        this.closeDoc(true);
    }

Be aware that using this code will close the file without saving it, and the user will lose all unsaved data that they have entered.

  • How to create forms in Acrobat 9?

I have a problem. I don't know how to create forms to fillable word document in acrobat 9.5.5. and can't find anything online

The usual way is to create the word of PDF form, open the PDF in Acrobat and adds the fields of the form: forms > add or edit fields

and you will be where you can add and configure the fields in the form of form editing mode.

To add form fields to an existing PDF, select: forms > add or edit fields

To create a PDF as Acrobat file an existing Word document, you can select: forms > start the form wizard > use an existing file

You can select PDF, Word, Excel, etc. and Acrobat will attempt to automatically add form fields where he thinks they belong.

I do not recommend the choice: forms > start the form wizard > create a PDF form from scratch

Since then, it will start an older version of LiveCycle Designer.

All this is will work with Acrobat 9 Pro. If you have the level, some things are not available, but you will still be able to enter the form editing mode.

  • How to remove the default 'Contours' text when creating forms of vector layers?

    Hi all!

You know the text, it adds to the layer name when you create forms of a vector layer who says the contours? Well, someone knows if it is possible to change it or remove it?

It sucks to have to remove it manually, especially when there are a lot of layers and you took the time to prepare them in illustrator.

    Thankss,

    Oliver

So the answer is no, there is no way to automate this process. There is no rename the lot for layers in AE, Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design or any other application I've ever used and that has layers.

  • Why the pen tool is automatically create forms for me?

    Hello

I appreciate your time in reading my question. I was wondering why the pen tool on Adobe InDesign CS6 is to create forms automatically for me. Which does not em finish what I was wanting to create?

    Here's a 15 second video of what I mean: IMG_0506.MOV - Google Drive

I'd appreciate any help you could give me. Have I pressed something wrong?

I look forward to hearing from you soon

    Kind regards

    Daniel.

He is not actually draw a shape, it is just to add the fill for the open road. If you set the fill to 0 it will stop doing that.

Where can I find educational videos. I want to create forms that complement automatically.

Thank you. I came across the solution for Auto-filling in a PDF file. If you use Acrobat 11, just right click in your field and copy it. Then paste it into the field that you want to automatically fill. What you enter in the original field will be displayed in the copy field.

  • creating forms in dreamweaver cs6

eager to create a form in dw which will look like this http://www.tankinz.com/500cookiesorderform.htm

It was created several years before using frontpage and I am basically creating the same thing using dw.

    a few questions:

    1. a lot of tutorials on this suggest using tables to create forms, is this correct? It has been an arduous task to leave the tables and learn the css, I understand quite well now, but are the best tables to create a form as I need?

    2. in my form one essentially have a blocking of the info, I need to collect by using the form, I then an explanation on the next series of info I need and then some other form. what I want to do all of the form using tables or is it better to create the block of info using the buttons for forms, then create a div in the css to explain the next information block I need and then another form etc... or I just want to continue to use the tables throughout the entire form?

Sorry to be so confused, I want to just make sure I do it correctly the first time, tables are really the way to create forms?

    Nancy,

I have advanced and created the form using tables, which should be good if displayed using a laptop or pc but I'm worried when seen through a mobile device or tablet form will be in every sense, this is the case?

  • Acrobat XI - creating forms

Hello, managers Forum Adobe... I watched a video on your site recently which showed the facility to produce forms in the latest version of Acrobat Pro.  It will take the place of this feature that debuted in InDesign CS6?  I had heard that InDesign form production capabilities were not yet refined and wonder if Adobe soon abandoned this way of production for an easier way in Acrobat Pro XI.

    Thank you very much.

I assume you mean forms Central for Acrobat, which will be distributed with Acrobat XI. It's another way to create forms that are not compatible with the existing methodology of Acrobat form. CF has absolutely nothing to do with the method of creating Acrobat forms InDesign.

The InDesign method works very well, but does include all the features bit that Acrobat has developed over the years. But these questions can easily be changed with the features of forms in Acrobat Pro. The main thing missing in the InDesign method, is that you should always open the PDF you create in Acrobat Pro to record as a player that is compatible for recording forms. The biggest advantage is that layout of forms can be much more accurate and can include more capable more refined appearance in InDesign. (You never had the tools to create a look that is refined in Acrobat.) There is no way it will be abandoned. It is one of the most popular features in InDesign CS6!
