  I use a trial version of Acrobat Pro DC and PREPARATION of a form to an existing PDF document. I can't find a way to create a digital signature field that can be "click (to sign).

  Note: The existing .pdf has a digital signature field works but when I click on 'Prepare the form' and select this shape, it blocks every time Adobe Acrobat Pro. I must change the .pdf first, delete the existing digital signature field, save the .pdf, then on 'Prepare the form' and select it with the required signature checked.

  I read several articles in the knowledge base and tutorials that refer to an icon in the toolbar of the digital signature, but I have not this icon can be selected. That's what I see:

  

  When I select the available signature icon (envelope with x) this simply creates a text field, that when the document is opened in Adobe Reader, this field disappears when you click it.

  

  I tried with Adobe Acrobat Pro on Windows 7 as well as currently on Mac OS 10.10.5 (Yosemite). Help to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated.

  The problem is that you have selected the signing required check box. When you do this, it limits you to a form that is compatible with Adobe sign, which allows no digital signature fields. What you can do is to click on the more button in the right panel and select "Back to the form of Acrobat" and you will be able to add digital signature fields.

(A digital step type that DC will draw to you or allow you to draw yourself.) I can do the fields but they do not work. The signature fields used to have little flags in the corner of the box that indicates that they were ready to be signed. My steps consist of:

  Select Tools - prepare forms. I click on the "this document requires signature. Automatic detection is on.

I tried to just change the properties of the signature signature box and I also tried drawing signature block or a right signature (not sure what the difference is) , I noticed that under "More" there «return it to the form acrobat.» When I do I get the message that "Acrobat will now NEA Acroform - click ok to continue"-I made and save - can I save again with the new name of 'Save as another' to activate the form. So I check the form in Reader, but it does not work! What I am doing wrong? I used to be able to do that!  I tried other ways, but DC wants me to a digital signature for me (I already have one!) Help please!

  The result is that Adobe does not provide any software to defeat the security of a PDF file. If the creator of the PDF file set to this level of security, intentionally or not, that's what it is! The solution to your problem is to go to the creator of the document and ask the password or an unprotected PDF file version.

• Cannot create transparent stamp signature more in Acrobat XI

  I recently noticed, to my annoyance, I can't create a stamp transparent signature in Acrobat XI more.

  Previously, when I clicked on "Signature of Place", I was given a "buffer" sort of transparent with which I was able to put a signature in a document where I wanted to. This differs from sign with a certificate, because he did not ask my certificate password and I didn't draw a box - it was just a stamp.

  I'm still able to create a digital signature secure by drawing a rectangle whose image of my signature. However, the image still appears to be centered in the rectangle, making it difficult to guess exactly what size the rectangle when I sign a document so that I can get the signature to the right place. In addition, the signature doesn't seem to be transparent at the signing of the certificates.

  Because security is usually not VERY important for me, it's much more convenient to be able to use the old method of signing "character". But when I click on "set the signature" it will default the secure digital signature. It doesn't seem to be a way to use the old signature stamp unsecured.

  This tool has been removed from Acrobat?

  If you have created a stamp in your signature that has a transparent background, you would use the stamp tool to apply it. In Acrobat 11 reach you the stamp tool by selecting: comment > Annotations > add stamp (stamp icon)

• ASA 5505 TFTP to one subnet to another creates the empty file

  The Cisco ASA 5505 does not seem to allow the TFTP connection between 192.168.5.103/24 and 192.168.10.202/24. TFTP is normally used in the same subnet, but not in my case. I have a DHCP relay that works, but when I use the free tool from one side to the other tool TFTPD TFTPD, it creates an empty file. Anyone know what config I could be missing in my Cisco ASA?

  Hi Jonathan,.

  1. check that tftp server is using the correct interface of the given subnet. (under Server Interfaces on tftpd32)

  2. check if the default gateway have a correct route to the TFTP server.

  3 make sure that TFTP server can reach the subnet of the client.

  The REST API exposes the user records (see the following document); However, signature fields are not included. We need to work on this addition to the API (in a later version), but the option is currently not available.

  I want a subform to open only after the signature field is signed. I can't make it work. Here is my script:

  It is not a good practice to hide content on a document when users apply a digital signature, are unwilling to sign a document that has a hidden content.

  If you don't want users to fill out certain fields in the subform, and then you can add validation checks in the event preSign of each signature field to ensure that - if the validation fails then cancel the signing operation.

  Not much needs to change.

  You can always display the same result as you would if a product is available.

  The only difference would be the item would show "sold out". In this case, add a conditional event listener to listen to 'Sold Out' in the status of product on your front-end server. A hyperlink to 'request form' echo here.

  Basically, a 'form' link would appear if the product is "sold out".

  However, most of our users prefer to work with their version of the mother tongue.

  Hi Matthias,

  Cannot change the data encoded in a digital ID. You will need to get a new digital ID before signing if you wanted information signatories to be different. However, if you ask about what the certificate view display, much of this depends on the language of the copy of Acrobat/Reader. For example, most of what you see in the details tab depends on the version of Acrobat. The only thing that would not be strings that are part of the certificate, such as the common name.

  I have a region based on a relationship of type "SQL Query (updateable report)". "

  The table that the report is based on a a comment field that users should be able to update.  Currently, it is defined as ' display as '-text field, to allow users to change.

  I want to be able to provide users a standard set of comments from which they can choose, if they wish, OR to put in another comment or to choose a standard comment and change, that is very much like a drop-down list box.

  Other types of fields can be defined as "text field with AutoComplete", which would be fine if I could put it on this area, but in such field, on this type of regions, it is not possible.

  Is it possible that I can create a work around to get the same effect.

  It turns out that due to my need is satisfied by the standard features.

  I was looking for "offering users a standard set of comments from which they can choose, if they wish, OR to put in another comment or to choose a standard comment and change, IE a lot as a combo box"

  The answer is a Popup LOV.  (As opposed to a Select list).

  Selecting a popup LOV will bring back the text in the field AND ALLOW the EDITION. And if you do not use the context menu, you can always change the field.

  If you want to get AutoComplete on it as well, then try code of Jari.

  As the document is sent to the signing with eSign, so it cannot be rotated. It must be sent again by the sender with a correct orientation.

  It's a preference of operating system. Configure Windows to open a PDF file in Acrobat.

• Publish error - creates the empty file without extension

  I have trouble publishing a project. Basically, what happens is that when I publish to SWF, I have 3 files: a Javascript file, a SWF file, then an empty file with file extensions. I use Captivate 5 on XP and I update yesterday, so I don't know that I have installed the latest patch. I deleted my Captivate cache and deleted the Captivate Preferences folder, but that did not help.

  Everyone knows this? Can I publish earlier versions of this project, which leads me to believe that the file has become corrupt when I added audio. Any ideas? Should I just cut my losses and go back to an earlier version?

  Just in case someone else has a similar problem, here is what Adobe has done to resolve the issue:

  Remove the custom skin

  Use the default Skin

  Remove the Table of contents

  Change file name

  Problem solved.
