  Hey everybody,

  I'm sure Captivate based on the readings of the forums, but I thought I'd ask.

  Can I create a mask with a transparent visor in Captivate?  I would like a text box to display in the center of my step just like the animation flash below:

  BTW - I just thought of a way to layers of "mask" in Captivate.  This isn't really masking, but cut an image into several parts and saw the new image should rule out behind a slice of the existing image.

  1. create a slide with an image.

  2. when the user clicks on a part of the image, direct the user to another slide.  It has the same picture, but it is cut into layers.  The new image move back 1/2 of the picture in front of the other 1/2 of the picture.  It would make it look like he wears a transparent mask, but it's really just browsing a 'slot' in the middle of the image.

  I went the same route. I started to want to learn web design and the Muse is an excellent tool. The code it generates, however, not to use it in Dreamweaver. This could be done, I think this isn't worth it, even for a real Geek. Once you get to Muse you will find there are things missing, stuff, you want to do, but are just tough in Muse or you can buy a widget. It is possible in DW and you get which through subscription, so it makes sense. Me what I know now, I'll go directly to DW to learn, except if you want results right now. If you don't want something to cause I stay with Muse and maybe learn to animate CC to add some pizazz to the site. If you only want a simple layout and a couple supporting stick with Muse pages if you want a larger site use DW.   2. Do you receive an error message or error codes?
  3. Recent changes on the computer?

  There could be several causes for this problem.

  Try starting with these methods.

  Method 1

  2. Make sure that all cables are connected (for example, make sure that your modem is connected to a working jack or cable phone connection, either directly or through a router).

• Problems creating a mask to apply an effect to this particular field.

  I am a beginner with adobe after effects and I am currently trying a personal project. I know how to create a mask and how to apply an effect to this specific sector, but for some reason whenever I have any create said mask, he cuts the selection from the video output. You are looking for 'Compositing Options' so to type or if you know exactly how it's called type 'control the mask effect' and discover the resources of the community.

  Make sure both mask and maskee are movieclips, click on each to select in the properties panel, click on > view > make > cache as bitmap.

  I recently made the switch using CorelDRAW for my vector art to mainly using Adobe Illustrator. I know of course that there will be some features that are exclusive to Illustrator and CorelDRAW exclusivity, but I've done the research on trying to find the "equivalents" in Illustrator for some tasks I could do in CorelDRAW.

  I know that the tool in Illustrator clipping mask is very similar to cutting power in CorelDRAW. What I'm trying to determine is if it's possible in Illustrator to create a clipping with a background color mask. In CorelDRAW, I could create a shape with a color fill Uni, and then insert an image with a background transparent, as shown below.

  

  Now, in Illustrator, when I create a shape with a color, then he and a pattern that is transparent to create a clipping mask, the color disappears:

  A clipping mask can have its own fill.

  There are two methods:

  -After creating the clipping mask, select the path of masking with direct selection and apply a fill

  -Use the option 'Draw inside' to create the mask. Next draw is at the bottom of the tools Panel. With draw inside the maks object will not lose its filling.

  Better is not not to use the mask with the cropping effect, but rather of opacity mask.

  Thank you once again for all your help guys.  Now, I am creating an explosion with a glow effect.  Problem is when I apply the glow effect to my form, I created, it assumes I want the explosion to happen as soon as the video starts to play.  In fact, I would like the explosion occur somewhat later in the video, maybe about 25 images in the video.  I can't find a setting for the keyframe at the beginning of the explosion.  Is there a key to this picture and I can't?  I even tried out the shape in the timeline panel so it is not up to that on the frame of 25, but it does not work either.

  You didn't follow my instructions or experiment with the settings of the force.

  Sorry, I jumped beyond the vectormask part and only looked at the code. You cannot create a mask with Script DOM. You will need to use scriptlistner. Something like that will make a vector mask to the active layer using the path selected (active).
