  I tried to install Win10 on my MBPr for a few hours, but the software download Support from Apple through the Boot Camp Assistant takes somewhere between 120 and 10,000 minutes Yes, ten thousand minutes. It's because of my boyfriend very slow network, so I went to download it directly from Apple's site, where it should be a lot faster after what I read. Indeed it took me 20 min, but trying to run from Win10 (all installed, no problem) it says "this version of Boot Camp is not intended for this model of Mac" (or something of the sort). "This model" as keywords, then I tried to look for download Apple focus again, this time by model and downloaded a different Support Software version... which did not also.

  So now, I come to you. Should what version I download? My MBPr appears in the footer, the version of Windows is education 64-Bit. I shouldn't be that I installed it without any hiccup at all on my iMac 5K at home, so I guess that this version should be good. I can't connect to Wi - Fi or play games on Windows, so please help me here D:

  W10 drivers can be downloaded using three different methods.

  1. use OS X BC Assistant on a wired network. Older versions of OS X are also the same.

This remote works on my machine, but its function is reduced, because I can use only a few buttons. For example, keys windows media center and DVD are useless on XP. Is it possible to do their job? The editable functions button or something?

  Also, I wanted to ask why my microphone does not work on XP, my audio device is detected as Conexant HD audio, but I can't activate the microphone in the volume control because the option is not available.

  Use it for audio. Unzip in a folder. Run the Setup program.

  If it errors use Device Manager.

  In Device Manager, right click "Audio Device on HD", choose Update driver, not to communicate.

  Install from a list or a specific location, select do not search.

  I will choose the driver to install,

  For the hardware Type select 'show all devices '.

  Remove control "Show compatible hardware" and click on 'disk '.

  Next... Navigate to the unzipped folder and choose the "WiSVHe5.inf".

  Ignore XP when it complains.

  Reset.

  I got V3700 series and it work very smooth with XP.

  I'm very interested in using the "rubber stamp" annotations to annotate PDFs (construction drawings). I'm really sorry if I forgot a FAQ document or resource for the code example (I spent a little time with the sample project Stamper.sln for Visual Studio, as well as several other projects plugin sample).

  What I'm going for is to create a variety of annotations that looks like this:

  

  The idea is that it is a smart icon. My question is, how far can I push a text annotation PDAnnot, without having to resort to the Cos layer to do what I want? In particular, can create a text annotation, but either add items to an existing dictionary, or add a new dictionary with just my properties in there?

  What I am about to make:

  I'm trying to score for estimating and takeoff construction drawings. As buildings are designed these days many architects or engineers distribute plans and specifications in the form of PDF documents, rather than the traditional AutoCAD DWG. At the present time print us massive drawings, mark upward with markers, store almost enough information and pray that we do not lose the paper.

  My goal is to allow the user to open a PDF file, create a short list of objects stamp on a toolbar (so adding buttons to the dynamic toolbar), click a button to create a persistent stamp and stamping of dozens (or even hundreds) of annotations across a large (34 in. x 44 in.) drawing. Then we'll tot annotations how we each type and so on.

  I can do this in the context of a text annotation? (Maybe with something a little more elegant than a delimiter in a long string?) Or I should suck and immerse yourself in the PDF reference to probe the layer Cos and types of custom annotations?

  You must read reference PDF/ISO 32000-1 for details of annotations and stamp annot in particular.  From there, you'll probably end up reading various other sections relevant to your work.

• Can someone tell me what software to use to print and scan from my MacBook pro

  I have Mac OSX Mountain Lion and I am trying to print and scan my 5510 Photosmartt wireless. I tried to use the full suite of HP and Apple software for the printer. The HP software does not find my printer on my network only when it is connected through USB. I used the option "wireless via USB" when I installed the software, but the process never went through a process of Wi - Fi as soon as I unplugged the USB cable it was impossible to find the printer. I also tried to add a printer manually using the host name of Bonjour that works but loses connectivity on occasions, but I am then unable to use the extras like the Apps that come with the HP software.

  I have an iPad which I can connect using HP Printer Control app but I was under the impression with the last update Apple what airprint totheirs device should work without the need for an application.

  I read all the advice of experts in many forums like this one and have tried everything, but I was unable to connect to my network without problem. I can scan, eprint printers EWS etc so I must be connected to the router and the Internet, so I really don't understand why I'm having these annoying problem. I know that I am not alone so concerned manufacturers should get it sorted and soon.

  I should also mention that I have a laptop win7 I have installed on the same netwrk and had printing and scanning works very quickly without any problem of connection at all.

  I'll be very happy to receive a solution from an expert very soon.

  Your suggestion is exactly how I installed the printer before but still had problems of connectivity with my MacBook. However I seem to have found the solution and it's, once the printer and MacBook on the same network I put then a static IP by allowing the software page to recommend a static address. Previously, I had chosen the static address manually by following the instructions provided.

  The difference now is that when I look at my page of router software the printer is more listed under DHCP DEVICE INFO, but I am still able to find the printers web page by inserting its ip address into Safari, as well as the EWS page

  This seems really healed my problems. Thanks for all your help.
