Creation of newsletter email in FW. Do not preview in Mail (mac app). Ipreface

I am total newb to Fireworks (but have a vast print experience design) so apologies if this is a silly question. I am required to produce an electronic newsletter and use the exercise as a way to introduce me to FW and DW, and web design. My idea of the best way to do it (for me) was to produce something I could get into Safari, and then it's (OWL) Mail contents of this Page... command to create the email in the Mail Application.

If I import the content of fireworks, it presents a preview in Safari AoK, but when I use Mail contents of this Page... I get an e-mail message full of cues of image with question marks in them (icons of style plugin).

I know this feature (Mail contents of this Page...) works for a lot of content I tried with including content Dreamweaver. I tried a dozen workflow including export HTML and images of FW and the opening in Safari.

My workflow has been InDesign-> export PDF flattened (with layers)-> open in Photoshop and cut individual images and Save for Web... -> import images of PS or all flattened PDF direct to FW-> slices to make more images (almost all text is in spec fonts so is rendered out as images)

Ideas for a sure-Fire (works) workflow produce a brilliant (X) HTML newsletter?

No idea why the export from FW looks good in Safari, but fails as a Mac Mail HTML message?

Because now I'm emailing a link to the PDF document online to ship on time, but I want to master HTML and an efficient workflow emails.

Bravo and thanks in advance.

Fireworks is not a HTML authoring environment element. Let me repeat. Fireworks is not a HTML authoring environment element!

Export Fireworks HTML feature is so that you can produce a mock-up of a Web design for approvals and such. HTML is not robust. Couple who, with the problem what email clients are supported a limited set of HTML and CSS and you have a recipe for disaster. When you write HTML newsletters you must go to their subject in a slightly different way. But he must know your HTML code.

HTML newsletters are tricky things. You can't wait for a graphics program to produce something that's going to work. You can use Fireworks to design your newsletter. You can cut the design and export items which will be graphic. But then, you must use Dreamweaver or a simple text editor former to write the HTML and CSS code that will work well for e-mail clients.

There are two HTML mailing services that have as much info on the writing of HTML newsletters. Check out the info they have on best practices and limits in clients:
