creation of signature in windows live mail

I recently started using Windows Live Mail, so I could consolidate all of my accounts e-mail in one place. It works well, but I'm having a problem of creating a signature. Research on the net said there should be options in the menu bar, to do this, but they do not exist in my installation. Is there more than one version of Windows Live Mail? My menu bar looks like this:

  • Adding an e-mail link in my signature in Windows Live Mail

I have a signature in my Live Mail in which I would like to have an answer email (email@***) such that when it is clicked on will open a new window of outgoing mail.  There be an easy way to achieve this.  I appreciate your help.

    Hello

To address your concerns, we suggest you to compose an HTML or rich text signature. This will allow you to put an email address that will take you to a new outgoing email once clicked. Here's how:

    1. click on e-mail message in Windows Live Mail under the home tab.
    2. type the information you want to see in your signature.
    3. click on F12 to save the file. Save the document as an HTML file.
    4. open the mail program, press Ctrl + Shift + O for Options.
    5. press on the signing tab.
    6. click on new.
    7. click on Rename , then name the signature.
    8. click on the file, then Browse.
    9. Select the HTML in your signature.
    10. put a check mark next to the signature of the AutoText if you wish.
    11. click on apply.

Let us know how it goes.

    Kind regards.

  • How to create a link in my signature in Windows Live Mail for Windows 7?

I used to use Outlook Express, and when I put a link in my signature in Outlook Express, it automatically creates a hyperlink so that my clients can easily access my site, but I am now using Windows Live Mail, and I was never able to find a way to create a link in my signature.

I put my website address in my signature, but when I send a mail to answer, it will only turn it into a link if I click at the end of my website address and then press ENTER to go down as I begin a new paragraph. When I do that, it changes the address a link, but it's a real hassle of having to do every time I send a response. I tried to do the same thing in my signature, but it does not work.

Did someone knows a way to make it a link in my signature?

Under the Signature settings in the options, you can use a plain text signature that has no connection, or you can use the 'file' option to define an HTML file containing the code for a signature with a link.

For example, save it as a sig.html notebook file (instead of the economy as a normality. txt file) and use it in the options.

    example.com

This will produce a signature that looks like this:

  • Signatures in Windows Live Mail 11

I set up a signature, and there is an option in the settings of mail "do not include signatures in the answers", I have it disabled, but still in the responses, there is still no signature?

Also the link to my site only appears as text in the signature.  How can I make it appear automatically as a hyperlink?

Third, if I read the HTML mail and unclear, I see a lot of strange and sometimes giant text. Is the funny and sometimes her normal time and no other.  I tried to reinstall and no difference.

    Thank you

The most recent version (September I think) AVG introduced the bug to the large font size.  He works in OE, WinMail, and WLM.  All users of AVG need to uninstall AVG and then reinstall wih e-mail, scanning to off or well install something less invasive.

It is not a good idea.  The only emails I've seen with the large font size
problem have been scanned with AVG.  Some people have digitized their emails for
years and not had any problems, and then something happens and they blame the
e-mail program.  Uninstall AVG and do a custom install without the
    electronic component fixed their problem.
The other option is to install Windows Security Essentials and uninstall
    MOY.

In Windows Live Mail 2011, I am trying to create a Signature that contains a hyperlink to my website address.

I click on Options - Mail - Signatures - new.

If I choose 'text' - there is no way to add a hyperlink.

  • Start with the new Windows Live Mail

When I open the new Windows Live Mail on my laptop I click the butten to open, it opens OK, but I can get the screen to connect. Surely the signature in the form should appear first before the opening of the post office? I had 3 different email addresses which can all be read before I connect. Can someone throw any roundabout on why this happens and how I can get the sign in box to open before the opening of the post office.

  • How can I import groups of Windows Mail contacts in Windows Live Mail?

I work in a small office where we have computers running Windows Vista and using Windows Mail (version 6.0.6000.16388).  We have hundreds of contacts and a few contact groups on these computers.

A few months ago, we got two new computers running Windows XP and Windows Live mail (version 2009, version 14.0.8089.0726).  Other computers at the office always have Vista and the other version of Windows Mail.

I was able to export our hundreds of contacts and import them into Windows Live Mail for new computers have all the contacts... but I was unable to find a way to import groups.

These groups are all very large and comprise mostly/entirely out of contacts that do not have individual contact entries.

I've been Googling for a solution to this problem.  The page nearest you, that I could find was this:

    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/3818-Windows-Live-Mail-import-Vista-contacts-contact-groups.html

I was very discouraged when I saw the big red warning to the top of the page:

    ---------------
In the Groups of Contact with Vista, only contacts who are also included as normal Contacts will be imported into Windows Live Mail. Contacts that have been created for the Contact Group only will not be imported into Windows Live Mail. You will need to write these down and add them manually in Windows Live Mail.
    ---------------

This pretty much described my situation exactly, but manually going through all groups, write all contacts, and then import them manually into two separate machines should always and is simply not an option.

Are there really no other way I can get these groups into Windows Live Mail?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you very much!

I have not actually tried this, but I think this method will work.

    1. get a free Live ID (or @hotmail.com or @live.com).

    2. install Windows Live Mail on Vista computer. During the installation, it will offer to signature with a Live ID. Do.

    3. the first performance of Windows Live Mail, it will be important to all contacts from Windows Mail. Give him enough time to synchronize all contacts with the web version of this Live ID.

    4. open Windows Live Mail on the new computer and then connect with the same Live ID. The automatic synchronization process will transfer in all contacts of the web version of this Live ID.
