  I know it's a simple question with a simple answer, but I did not yet find that answer. Usually, I crop my photos in a size 2 to 1 fixed ratio for Twitter. I used to extend the fixed ratio to the size I wanted and then move the tool of selection of ants marching to the area I wanted to reframe. However, in the last few months I'm not able to move the selection without cutting the photo. I used to create my selection and move the cursor over the moving dotted line and then move the selection. This is never a problem. All the answers as to what I might hurt?

  If there is no selection and you move the selection with the "MOVE TOOL" it will reduce the image

  To move the selection without cutting image, use any 'Sélection' tool instead of the move tool.

• Rotate and move the 16-bit Image

  I would like to rotate and move a 16-bit RGB (U64 in LabVIEW) image.  The IMAQ turn and shift functions do not accept this type of image, but they do not accept an image in 16-bit grayscale (I16 in LabVIEW).  Unfortunately, this clips all values in my original image since it extends from-32, 767 to + 32 767.  The ExtractColorPlanes function requires a 16-bit image to be wired as the destination image but the IMAQ create VI does not U16 to create image.

  Any ideas?

  Just to be proactive... Here is an example of the problem.  I tried to download a (small) 16-bit tif, but is not a valid extension to download.  Photoshop allows me to record a 16-bit RAW, TIF or PSD: none of which can be downloaded.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

  I just bought a new laptop and am new to windows 8. I downloaded approximately 300 pictures and they all saved in the library of photos in the same folder. I can't work out how to create separate folders or even how to move one of the photos. They appear only as a long line of scrolling which is a real pain. Is it possible to create folders and move the photos where I'm supposed to to store another app that sort of thing? Sorry if this question has been asked, but I couldn't find the answer I was looking for. Any help would be appreciated...

  We can read the files in Server directory using the following steps:

  Return to the brush model.

  1. drag the brush from the Panel forms.

  2. with the direct Selection tool or in, select the Panel layers no filling / n ° rectangle race which is located at the back of this group of brush.

  I have two transparent logos that I try to combine.

  I crop the portion of the second logo with transparency and opacity.  Then I place the second logo on the first to create the combined logo.

  I save it as a transparent Illustrator EPS.

  If I print this logo and the document background is white, it's perfect.  However, if the document is any other color, then the text in the portion cropped on the second logo is reflected.

  What happens if you do the following?

  (1) place the logo on the right, then create and place a rectangle corresponding to the part at the right to stay visible on top, then both selected object > clipping mask > make.

  (2) place the logo on the left that it can with/to the visible part of the logo on the right side.

  3 in addition to the MacBook, I have a 10-12 years old PC that runs on Microsoft XP Pro. I have maybe 3 000 digital photos from previous years that are stored on this computer. In all cases, regardless of the computer, the image files are enabled, they are a random mix of jpeg and raw (Nikon) files.

  My Questions are:

Photo files are imported into the LR5, are picture files copied into a 'system of files of LR' and thus duplicate on my HDD files?... .or is it a case of LR making links to the files where they physically present? What? A sub question is this: when I delete a file in its original storage folder, which also deletes the image of the files accessed by LR?
  2. What do you suggest as the most effective method and the means to move the photos from my PC to my Mac?
  3. Can what advice you give about how to structure my photo files to make the simplest and most effective for LR5 and PS C6 to access the files. ?
  1. Lightroom creates a link to your photos; at no time Lightroom stores the photos in-house, so if you had a copy of a picture before importing, you still have a copy
  2. External hard drive is probably the most effective
  3. You can have any structure is evocative, ranging from "no structure" to "very structured. Lightroom simply does not care what is the structure of the folders, it can work with any folder structure whatsoever. My recommendation is to have a simple structure for your folders (such as dates) and then make the most of the organization inside Lightroom via keywords and other metadata.

  You can hold down the key left mouse and wide from bottom right to top left, or vice versa, to highlight.
