  I recently "upgraded" my laptop to win 10 to test. And, as far as I've seen so far, it seems to work OK with all versions of hearing AA 1.5. Certainly a record multitrack field worked very satisfactory with AAS CS6.

I guess I could have gotten rid of them immediately but also thought for a long time that the Act was done, I'd give it a try. It looked good for a while, but when I went to use Photoshop 5.5 would not fully open or run. Pshop 5.5 must run on 10 to win? I don't want to buy a new program because I don't use it very often one more. It has been more than 30 days, so I'm not sure I can always go back to win 8.

  I tried to uninstall 5.5 but now can't install it again. Any suggestions?

  I use DW CS5.5 and 8.1 of Windows on a PC. The PC has a lot of memory and power. I use DW 5.5 for the manufacturing and Assembly of Web sites. My laptop has a 17 inch screen. For a site specific Web I have change, page not in 'Design view' without going to "Live View". Also for this one site, DW5.5 is very, very slow and unresponsive. The site is great but has not much JavaScript which would slow down so much performance. I won't change the preferences registry because it is the only site that I'm working on that has this problem. If you answer, please be very clear and explicit in the steps I have to take. Thanks in advance for your help and support. Sorry that the wrong title was on my post.

  The first thing I would do, because it seems to only be one site, is this site 'wrong' for html errors. Run the validator at http://validator.w3.org/nu and clean up all the errors that it finds.

My CS5 license allows me to double-installation on BOTH Mac and Windows on the same computer laptop operating systems (technically, I don't want to install on separate computers). If Yes, how should I do so? It seems that my installation DVD for Windows only.

  All programs in my install installed no problem but on Acrobat, it fails. When I run the installer there is a message that a reboot of the machine is detected... it does not exist.

  I've updated Windows (and anything else I could find), repair Microsoft Visual C++ uses the Adobe cleaning tool, uninstalled all CS5.5 and started with a new download. Turned off the coast of all software viruses represented install.  I had 8 errors up to these 4 bore, any help would be great. The computer on which I installed is less than a week.  I use this program every day for work, and until I can run I'm stuck on my old computer which is almost dead!

  Please help with advice. Unfortunately, I have a sickening feeling that no solution exists within Adobe except to jump on the cloud.

  Here's the situation:

  Upgrade to El Capitan a month ago. Downloaded the fix from Apple file inherited from Java 6. Photoshop and InDesign work very well. This week, Illustrator open to do some work and accidents began to occur. Files won't save and the program crashes.

  Uninstalled and reinstalled CS5.5, same results, Illustrator does not always work.

  I understand that behind all this is an effort to phase out the Creative Suites and subscriptions of the cloud cover. About $ 600 / year, it defeats the purpose, unless you are a large company and can handle huge tax write-offs.

  Is there one solution other than to go with the cloud? An upgrade (if possible) to CS6 will work with El Capitan? Beyond manipulating CS5.5, moving to CS6 is all as much as I'm ready to go, but only if it works.

  I bought and supported Adobe since 1980s as a young DTP/graphic designer. I've always used authorized and legitimate products. I have three books of loans for printing using InDesign. I use Photoshop religiously.

  We reach the end of the line with Adobe or is there any effort underway to enable the legacy software to exploit?

  Adobe only works on the current versions to make them compatible with newer operating systems

  CS6 earlier are EOL (End of Life) and have not been tested on and will not be updated to, the two new Mac and Windows operating systems... Personally, I use Win8.1 and will NEVER upgrade to Win10 due to problems with older programs

  In the case of Mac, EACH new version of El Capitan pose problems for some Adobe programs... even the current cloud versions need update updates whenever Apple launches a new El Capitan

  If you wish to continue using your old Adobe programs, you need to (I think) clear your Mac hard drive and start over with a compatible Mac operating system installation known
