  The user then puts a number in each field.

  I have a 3rd field created to hold the answer. I also did a text field with the name "scorefield" to see if it works, or the other will do.

  Press a button on the stage, the user clicks top to add the first two numbers and the sum are the 3rd field or text field that has the name of the symbol "scorefield.

  However, I can't be able to add 2 values for the fields. I have the Send button:

  The problem is that is NOT add Number1 and number2.

  If I replace with +, - or / or * it works using these symbols, but if I try to use the sign more and add the two, it does not work and physically instead adds the numbers beside eachtoher.

  So if I put a 5 in the field one and 2 in field 2, the result comes out at 52... rather than add the two values, it places them next to each other.

  I know that these numerical values ARE like any other mathamatical sign works. I can multiplay, subtract, divide these two numbers. I can even check self if his superiors or inferiors to a value using the > or <.

  But when I use it, + sign, it breaks.

  Is there another sign I should use to add two values?

  Hi all

  I am wanting to type text in a shape of triangle. By that I mean - imagine a design spiral spiral with the tool, then using the type on a path tool to type text in a spiral.

  I want to do the equivalent, but with a triangle. Is this possible?

  By using the "Path offset" function, you can create triangles. Then, you must open the paths and move some of the points and reconnect the paths.

• Type of area tool AND able to rotate the text... is this possible?

  Could someone please tell me if its possible, and if so, how can I add text to a triangle where the text is rotated 90 degrees to the right?

  I know that adding text via the area type tool it fits to the triangle, however when I then try and rotate the triangle (thinking that this would turn the text with it) the text remains in its original position and wraps simply to accommodate the movement of the triangle encompassing.

  If I use normal type tool, I can then turn the rectangle type area to have the text in the right direction, I need... the problem is it is a rectangle and does not match the shape of triangle.

  I feel so close and I'm sure its something simple, but I just can't cope. TIA

  I can type about three characters maximum and then results focus, and I have to click with the mouse to the area of searching at the end.

  For example - I want to get "Img1.bak".

  I type 'I' "m" and then I'm whisked away and the 'g', I typed just takes me to the "great songs by Imogen Heap.txt" or what is the first result starting with g.

  I have to reselect the text box and add a letter or two at a time to get what I need. Very frustrating.

  I could report to Blackboard, see the entry on a BER, but not sure that this is the case for all LMS.

• Tab key does not work for text input areas in Captivate 3

  I'm building a software simulation of training where I am using text input boxes.  Some use the enter as a shortcut key, some use the tab key.  Those who use the keys work well, failure caption works by forced entry when you press Enter, it advances to the next screen.  Those who use the Tab key does not at all.  The legend of failure does not work and the Tab key does not advance to the next screen.  I compared to those that work and those that don't work and I see no difference.  I set the text entry box to pause at the end of the slide so that it should not be a problem here.  I even tried to have the action 'to success"to be continue rather than go to the next slide and use a click box using the Tab key as a shortcut to move to the next screen - nothing helps!  Is it possible that the Tab key could have been turned off somehow?  I'm totally at a loss, please help!

• On Firefox only, I get problems with a few Joomla sites using the JA_purity template. Error: has not been loaded because its MIME type "text/html", is not "text /".

  I updated Firefox on my computer for 13.01. Now, he struggles to read about 2 sites - both are Joomla and based on the model of JA-purity. What happens is that it fails to load the CSS files to do with the side and the top of the Joomla site menus. The file comes up with this:

  I don't see that the error and all style sheets seem to load.

  Reload Web pages, and ignore the cache.

  • Hold SHIFT and click reload.
  • Press 'Ctrl + F5' or 'Ctrl + Shift + R' (Windows, Linux)
  • Press 'Cmd + Shift + R' (MAC)

  Clear the cache and cookies from sites that cause problems.

  "Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > advanced > network > storage (Cache) offline: 'clear now '.

  'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

• When you type text in the forms, the vertical bar gets multiplied everywhere.

  Hello. I recently installed some special fonts in my PC. I used them in Photoshop in a file called "Letterblock prime". They worked very well. I saved the file under a new name, and then I tried to open Letterblock bonus and make another. But when I open Letterblock bonus, I got a message saying that some fonts are missing, and I clicked on "Do not resolve." Photoshop frozen and did not work at all. I couldn't even close the application and had to use force to stop smoking.

  Then I opened Photoshop and open a different file, a JPEG Normal, just to see what would happen if I tried to type text on the subject. I clicked on the "T" button, but there is no blinking cursor, as a symbol of the cross and Photoshop froze again and I couldn't do anything at all with it. I had to resort to force to leave again.

  These special fonts may cause this problem? Do you think I should uninstall them?

  You don't give much explanation of "following code fails", so we are shooting in the dark here.  First thought is: have you wrapped the tag form or entry HTML with a tag?  The tag includes the features of already, which maybe why your code works butdoesn't work.

  Rule of thumb trying to ColdFusion variable of output values to the page: If you are not inside a ColdFusion tag designed to export data to the page (like CFFORM, intrusion via CFMAIL, etc.), you must have a tag enclosing somewhere.

  Try to use the following syntax to get the value of the input text field.

  var rightAnswer = inputAnswer.val (); rather than access the .attr ('value')

  Have attached a simple example. Currently, it shows the correct/incorrect value in the console log.
