• When the sequence of process template client file is loaded for execution?

  As part of a custom process template I've created, I would like to make a few changes in the sequence of the client before file called by the process template. These changes will be then be restored after the loop finishes USE (I'm changing the sequential model).

  Another thread, I discovered that TestStand sequences cannot be edited structurally once they have been loaded for execution. My question is: what is client sequence template process ' for execution "?

  After some research, I discovered that the sequence of the client file is not locked to prevent changes to the sequence editor until the "Reminder of the main sequence" sequence step call runs in the model process entry point. At this stage, the sequence of the client file is loaded dynamically as the module at this stage.

  However, before this point, there are two places that the file of the client's sequence is used, and I want to assure you that they don't 'load the customer file for execution.  The Runstate.ProcessModelClient property is a reference to the object the client file SequenceFile and exist as soon as the entry point is called. In addition, the engine must know about the sequence of the client file to correctly call reminders of process model.   According to the information I found in another post (see the comments of Eric_Crank on page 2), it is allowed. However, in this case customers were only make changes to the property Data of the RunState.ProcessModelClient. I want to assure you that I can use the TestStand API on the reference too.

  Also, just FYI, I got this works. I can add steps to the sequence MainSequence customer sequence file of the group stage of installation of the point of entry of the process model via the API TestStand. I ask here if make sure that it is a safe thing to do, and that there is nothing I plan not to.

  If your sequence allows the option "optimize no concave calls this sequence", the first time the sequence run TestStand stores a copy of the execution of the sequence in a cache associated with running. As long as the sequence is in this cache you can not change, and TestStand considers that the sequence for 'run' file (see the SequenceFile.IsExecuting property). You cannot unload 'enforcement' sequence files (see SequenceFile.CanUnload). Sequences remain in the cache until it is closed. There is no way for you to remove the sequences of this cache, but you can prevent them to be added to the cache by turning off the option "optimize... ». Disabling this option should have no impact on the performance that you call the sequence only once.

• Can I replace reminder in the process template engine?

  I'm confused. I guess I can put the SequenceFilePostStep and SequenceFilePostStepRuntimeError callbacks in the process template I use and so replace this engine callback for my sequence of all the files that I run using this process template. What I actually see is that I should create these reminders of engine in each of my sequence files to make them work. Those of the process template is not called. Stack of calls that I have is - - . So, I would keep my engine in one place callbacks instead of many places .

  If you want to maintain engine in one place callbacks instead of many places , use ProcessModelPostStep and ProcessModelPostStepRuntimeError in your sequence of process template file. These fires after each step of the sequence of client. TS reference manual table 10-1, "after the engine executes each step in any client.
  sequence of drop calls to process template and each step in calls to subsequence resulting.

  The equivalent of this would be to use the SequenceFilePostStep and reminders of SequenceFilePostStepRuntimeError in all of your files to the client's sequence. BTW if you want a global error handler you can use ProcessModelPostStepRuntimeError and SequenceFilePostStepRuntimeError in your process template. This document will include all the steps in the sequences of process model and the customer test sequences.

  I think that reminders of engine are turned on and off, as opposed to the alternative.

• When dynamically created variables are emptied in the sequential process template?

  I have a sequence TestStand 2014 in which I dynamically create and fill many FileGlobal variables in the installation section of my main sequence.  I have it using the TestStand API to read the data in an Excel file (the data consists mainly of thresholds, limits, etc.).  The methodology itself works flawlessy.

  However, there are differences in behavior when using entry points both execution of the sequential process model.  When you use the entry point of execution 'Single Pass', he has no problem in test a DUT after another.  However, when you use the entry point for execution "Test DUT", I encounter the following error after completing of DUT1 and DUT2 testing:

  An error occurred the call 'InsertSubProperty' in 'PropertyObject' of 'NI TestStand 2014 API.

  The name of the element "VariableName" is not valid because it is already in use.

  I interpret this error message means that the variable I am trying to dynamically create the DUT2 track is already present race of DUT1.  I have a few questions about this:

  1. at what point in the sequential process template are dynamically created variables flushed, such as run a further by using 'Single Pass' starts with a clean slate?

  2. is there a reminder that I can substitute such as variables to rinse after each HAD run, allowing me to dynamically create variables on each HAD, during execution using "Test UUT?

  3. better yet, is there a counter of TestStand I can query to determine if I already ran DUT1 when using "Test DUT", such as DUT2 uses the variables that were created dynamically on trail of DUT1?

  Or you can simply use the PropertyExists function as a precondition.

• Perform a sequence with 2 process templates

  We intend to use different process models 2, running the same MainSequence.  The reason for the difference in process models is there is great difference in material on the stations.  We must therefore take account of this difference in our mainsequence, where we do some actions when using a process model and one different action on the other.

  My question is, what is the property preferred to watch in memory (runstate tree somewhere?) for the MainSequence to have knowledge of which process template, that it is running, so we can add cases in our MainSequence to differentiate the actions.

• Adding images to a process template seems not to break the model

  Adding an image for the model of the process model when re-opened jumps.

  -Open process model - it should look the same when it has been saved.

  -Add images to the process template and save.

  -Close the design and then open it again to the top.

  -The process template is messed up and the image no longer appears.

  Tested using the Data Modeler in Oracle SQL Developer 4.1.3.20 build HAND-20, 78

  One of the major flaws of the CGI. All data is contained in the GCD table as well.   I use a custom c# user interface to open a movie file and execution. When executing a sequence file, is followed by execution in steps of process model. It's only for the first time.   Each application that uses the model page, have the file called pagetemplate - metadata.xml, which is basically a repository of page template.

  When you create a page template, some entries are added to this file automatically for you.

  That's why I said lets you create a new model.

  Well, next to the source code of the template page, if the original model have pageDef, you need this pageDef too, so do the same - create Def page for your new template and just copy - paste the contents of the original.

  Our designers are trying to find a way to offer a kind of model (ideally designed in InDesign) to basic users allowing them to add a text custom in some areas and maybe insert an image of their own.

  Basically want it a type of fly to shutter of experience were they design and control the base part can distribute outside and have ad-hoc users edit and customize certain elements and print to place there.

  Our design team is intended to keep the elements of decors on locked room and only rental users to change a few things.  Our first idea was to use a PDF from but some challenges with which the police (a custom purchased) are made uniform throughout the document and allowing users or choose some photos together or inserting it possess all while only have access to adobe reader, upgrade from adobe pro would not be out of the question if we could make it work.

  What should you do? If you are talking about a solution of business size (and the budget to support), a service like PrintUI.com (a former employer of mine) would be ideal, but it's expensive for an exceptional situation.

  So there will be everything to loop through.

  What exactly are you trying to achieve? Can the {tag_commentspaged, collection model = 'collection_name' = ""} help?

  You will need to change the background color in the top-menu selector-.templatemo - and then add this rule-

  div.NavBar.NavBar - default {background-color: #123456 ;}}

  Finally, you need to adjust the background color of the logo to respond and perhaps even the colors for the links.

  Firefox/Firebug is an extremely valuable tool to understand these things.
