  What I ended up doing, is that I use the index + content of the XML node as I loop on my tasks at deremine where I am in my sequence.

  I have a listview that generates a list of the custome listviewItems (ie the containers). Containers have a setContextProperty to my database object. But when they are added to the list view, I can't access the database context property. I realize that the listview is not in the same context as the page but I don't understand why when I bind context for the real item the reference he lost?

• Class CSS SPACES custom skin reference? css styles do what?

  I create look custom for spaces using the custom project to extend the spaces. I'm not able to find what css class names are mapped to the elements of a page in the spaces. Inspect the code does not help because the css class names appear to be generated automatically and no names not really for all names in the example "myskin" or any other person I saw.

• Dynamic class in custom class reference

  I created a custom class that I want to be able to dynamically insert a clip from the library. I'm in trouble because I want to access the clip as a property of the custom class object (ie: then it can be swapped for another clip from the library after instantiation, among other things). I use getDefinitionByName() but I can't use it outside my function addDiagram() (see attachment code) as the string variable that stores the name of the library item is undefined after the custom class constructor function. Any help is appreciated!

  I'm not quite following - are you saying you want to access panelDiagram in functions other than your addDiagram function? Just take your definition of the variable of your function and make a class variable, for example, put the following line above your constructor:
  private var panelDiagram: *;

  and in the second line of the addDiagram function, use:
  panelDiagram = new diagramClass();

  Sorry if this isn't your answer, if it's not that I'm fighting to understand the problem.

• Configurable custom control of reference for NI VeriStand

  I'm working on an application of VeriStand where I'm modeling more than 100 pieces of similar material, each demanding a set of controls and indicators on the VeriStand workspace. Because I have a few hundreds of orders and total indicators to configure VeriStand workspace, it was recommended to me that I should look at using reference varied Custom Control (http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/11123), which is much more efficient to configure.

  The main problem I have with varied Custom Control reference is that when it is configured on the workspace, the full channel path appears in the legend next to the indicator/control form. As I have a simulation model complex faily using several levels of submodules, the complete track path is very long (for example. ("Controller/Simulation models/models/CCH_v1_0_bad/Inports/Islington 220kV Bus EAD/CB668/host_close") and tend to clutter the workspace and also make the workspace very ugly looking (more space is used to display the text of the legend that occupied by buttons/lights).

  Is there an easy way to remove traces of full path display, while allowing the user to verify the path full path required by say, right click on the object? Or at least it is possible to display one or two levels of the path of the canal, rather than the full path?

  What do you think makes a lot of sense.  To do this, you will need to modify the source code of LabVIEW and recompile (build) the proposed model to screen with the right mouse button.  You need LabVIEW 2009 for this.

  You need to change both of these screws to do some string manipulation to cut parts of the path that you don't want until it is written in the Caption.Text property node.

  I recommend creating a Subvi, which makes the string manipulation, in this way you can insert it just in the two screws you need to change.  Use a while loop that traverses the chain from the end forward, find the 11th ' / ' end, then only retains the final part and coming out of the slot - VI.

  Hi Martin,

  As you can see, AnyChart revise their books online to match their last version. The good thing is that XML for 6 AnyChart AnyChart 5 are essentially the same, give or take a few new features introduced with the AnyChart 6 of course... but the general structure is the same, so the reference online should hopefully meet your requirements.
