Customize keyboard shortcuts?

I use Acrobat X Pro for the markup of documents and would like TO have keyboard shortcuts that I could customize. The tools I use most often, and who do not have keyboard shortcuts (which I activated) are: draw the arrow; draw line; draw lines connected; Change the subject; draw the circle; redaction; and draw.

I know Bluebeam has keyboard shortcuts for all their editing/commenting tools, then why not acrobat X pro?

Also, is there a good place/website for third-party add-ins for Adobe to make it more useful/functional?

Cannot change the keyboard shortcuts in the Acrobat X family. As a suite of business software, is an important part of the user interface design that each copy works exactly the same. This simplifies deployment and offers with the customer support at distance, which are a high priority for the Acrobat customer target, is not likely to change anytime soon.

Adobe does not have an "Exchange" for the range of business products as it does for Creative Suite so there is no single source of scripts or plugins. If you are looking for a particular feature that Acrobat does not, Google is probably the best way to find out if a product is available to fit that need.

    Hello

What exactly do you want to copy? Most of the time the usual ' ctrl + c ' combination works very well.
If you need something else, you can set hotkeys (F1... F12) in the part of the script and the script of the action you want to perform.

  • create a keyboard shortcut to eject the CD

How can I create a keyboard shortcut for windows 7.

Often the mechanical button on the CD eject not CD. I want to create a keyboard shortcut to open the CD.

How can I customize keyboard shortcuts in Windows 7? I am able to do this on my work computer that runs XP.

Shortcuts keyboard and variety or parts of these words are not yet looking for control panel.

I found the device (keyboard) and attempted to find a box customize under properties. Nope

I found the list of hotkeys but online there is no shortcut to eject CD.

    Ideas:

    • You have problems with programs
    • Error messages
    • Recent changes to your computer
    • What you have already tried to solve the problem

Help and Support search on W7 Home Premium machine produced this, it refers to the programs, but it is all that can be found.

Create keyboard shortcuts to open programs

You can create keyboard shortcuts to open programs. Programs opening in this way is often simpler than opening using your mouse or other pointing device. Before you begin, you must create shortcuts for the program that you want to assign a keyboard shortcut. To do this, open the folder that contains the program, right click on the program file ' sexecutable and then click on create a shortcut. For more information about creating shortcuts to programs, seeCreate or remove a shortcut.

    1. Locate the shortcut to the program you want to create a keyboard shortcut.

    2. Right click on the shortcut and then click Properties.

    3. In the properties of the shortcut dialog box, click the shortcut tab.

    4. Click in the shortcut key box, press the key on your keyboard that you want to use in combination with Ctrl + Alt (keyboard shortcuts begin with Ctrl + Alt), and then click OK.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

You can now use this keyboard shortcut to open the program.

    Notes

    • The word that doesn't appear in the box shortcut key until you press a key; then it is replaced withCtrl + Alt + the key that you pressed.

    • The new shortcut may not work for programs that have their own keyboard shortcuts.

    • You can not use the ESC, enter, Tab, space,. print screen, shift, or Backspace to create a keyboard shortcut.

    • You can also create keyboard shortcuts to open files and folders.

    Hi benfmon,

    Please close all Adobe Applications.

Rename the folder 'Adobe' "Old Adobe", starting from these locations:

    (1) documents/Adobe

    (2) / Library/Application Support/Adobe of the user

How to access the user's library:

Access the hidden library files Mac OS

Raise the first and accept the license agreement.

And try to customize keyboard shortcuts.

    I hope this helps.

    Kind regards

  • Keyboard shortcut for an Export Preset Custom question

Here's my question that I can't find an answer in the forum.

I'm in grid mode, I use the painter to the gun to paint on the presets.  Now I have a single predefined custom export image I would like to use to export the images I added a custom wait - all by keyboard shortcut.

Is it possible to use a keyboard shortcut to apply to a custom preset?

I do not see that you can use the keyboard shortcut for 'export' previous and I see that I can right click and down to my presets, but I would like to be able to select my specific predefined export and apply a keyboard shortcut to this one in particular.   Is there a way?

(When I try to use export with previous for some reason, it seems by default not preset I wish.)

    I use Lightroom 5; on a mac.

I really like the features of Premiere Pro or Photoshop where you can shortcuts for custom game, can this feature please be brought to Lightroom?  Or maybe there is already and I'm missing?  Thanks for the help

There is no provision to customize keyboard shortcuts in Lightroom.  The option "export with previous" refers to the previous export Setup, not the last develop used preset.

  • Customization of keyboard shortcuts disables other strikes!

I have long been a big fan of customize my keyboard shortcuts. In general, I'll change the behavior of F of my keyboard keys in the system prefs to turn them over to 'standard keys. This then releases lots of F keys as a convenient "one-hit" shortcuts, currently unemployed in indesign (starting at 8 and with keyboard also extended F13 F1). PS these gadgets of crazy BONES F keys are still accessible by pressing the "fn".

However every BONE out these shortcuts cause other functions misbehave and the only way I found to get them back was to stick to the 'failure' keyboard value. I have not though, as I've learned to live with the few that arise.

Example: Running on OS 10.6.8 CS5.5 (my working configuration)

The most annoying one... Every time that you run a command that launches a pop-up palette such as Transform/Scale, usually you enter an amount and press return. Well, when you have your own shortcuts running, everything that happens is the 'return' is no add a 'space' in this entry field. To remedy this, you will have to physically click on the OK"" button. Annoying, but not a deal breaker!

BUT my new home configuration is CS3 on 10.10.2 - I know that these two are a few years apart, but they work together again (even after a fragile start with Illustrator - another story!)

So with this setup I find many keys on my extended keyboard is functionless when my custom shortcuts are to play, for example the 4 arrow keys - really useful for the differential movements. So I'm currently flashing back and forth between my shortcuts and default--FAR FROM IDEAL. I came to the conclusion that the keyboard shortcuts are quickly becoming obsolete and I may have to relearn the game by default.

Does anyone have a solution so I can keep my shortcuts, sharpened more than 14 years of using Indesign?

    Matt

I keep reading that versions prior to CC problems with Mac OS X Mavericks. Seems that I read about being broken, keyboard shortcuts for most. What happens if you do a new set?

  • Feature Request: Adobe, please make After effects CC shortcuts customizable keyboard as first

I do this feature request because I tried only two known methods to customize the keyboard shortcuts in after affects and none of these work in CC:

2008 tutorial video on Creative Cow Forum for modify the text after effects keyboard shortcuts - unfortunately it does not work in AE CC

a tutorial youtube on how to install KeyedUp for After Effects - tried that, but also not able to edit all the shortcuts in AE CC

One of the things I like most about first Pro CC is how many shortcuts keyboard, you can customize. You can even do this in Adobe Audition.

So, why not in After Effects?

Adobe please bring this feature to the next update after effects CC.

    Disable Smart Quotes in TextEdit.

  • Keyboard shortcut for the Guides of the master in Keynote

Is there a way to define a keyboard shortcut to show / hide the master Guides in Keynote? Get to the subsection of a subsection of the menu command is a bit of a pain when you have to do a lot.

Or is it at least possible to include the command in the toolbar when you customize it? I can do that for the normal guides, but not for the master Guides...

Please Apple, facilitate the work of the creator, and I'll stop complaining about having to use Keynote for presentations at work

You can create a custom for this keyboard command:

    1 - Apple menu > System Preferences > keyboard > shortcuts > App shortcuts:

    2 - Click on the button "+"

3 - enter this information (choose your own combination of keys):

    4 - click on add

    5. close Keynote and open speech and the short cut will be added:

  • Keyboard shortcut to move a window between two monitors instead of drag and drop.

I want a quick way to move a window from one monitor to the other in a double configuration monitor without having to drag the window with the mouse. This is particularly useful for full screen windows since to move, I have to exit full screen, catch them with the mouse and drag them to the other monitor. Ideally, I want something I can do with a keyboard shortcut.

I don't know if this exists, I couldn't find it in a list of keyboard shortcuts. I think it would be an improvement for anyone to use multiple monitors which has good reason to need do to switch between several programs. Since windows looks at multiple monitors and identifies each in the settings of customization like 1, 2, 3, etc, it would make the most sense for me to have one high and one low. So if I have a window screen 2, I can hit a keyboard shortcut to move it to the same spot on monitor 1 (low) or monitor 3 (upwards).

Maybe it exists in form some and I don't find it not, but if not I think it would be very useful, especially for anyone doing graphic design or programming work.

(Also I filled out the form for that matter like windows 7, which is what I use at home, but he put it under the XP forum since that is what the computer I write from is running on.)

Use the following key combination to switch between screens.

"Windows key + SHIFT + key.

    Detailed instructions:
Press in and hold the Windows key and then add and hold down the SHIFT key. While now hold both hit the left or right arrow key to move the current active window left or right.

  • Are there ways to create keyboard shortcuts in Windows Explorer?

    Hello

    My OS features:

    Windows XP

    Professional

    Version 2002

    Service Pack 3

So I do not know when Microsoft has implemented it (maybe?), but I was looking for a way to create a combination of shortcut keys which would act as the 'Alt + arrow up' in the newer versions of Windows...

If your are unsure what I mean (explanation below):

In more recent versions of Windows, for example, when you use Windows Explorer or when you're on IE and that you want to save a file using the "Save AS" function to 'Browse' to a place, you can use the combination of 'Alt + arrow up' key to go back one level in the current window/folder.

I know, in Windows XP Explorer, there is a button on the "Standard toolbar" makes this exact function, but it's so much more convenient to use the keyboard shortcut to do this.

Does anyone know if a way that I could implement this in Windows XP?

    Thanks in advance,

    Matt

    Hi Matt,

Here are the keyboard shortcuts which works for Windows XP. You cannot customize the shortcut, as is the design of the operating system.
