  The closest you can get use Windows + M, which will minimize all windows.

  Although you can use Windows + D (display the desktop). You use this shortcut will allow you to use Windows + D now show the last window before the display of the desktop computer.

  In Windows Vista, there are two possibilities to create a shortcut to a folder by drag - move different combinations of keys by drag-and - drop:

  Creating a shortcut to folder in "Network shortcut" and then moving in an arbitrary folder shortcut works as expected. Currently, it is the only workaround I know.

  I think perhaps the best next step after all your efforts of trying to fix the program.  For this, since it is part of the Windows Essentials pack, you can go to the page Windows Essentials and re - download and re-install the package, which will update and fix the movie maker if necessary. I hope that this solves the problem for you. Please let me know how it goes.
