  AutoFill is the easiest part, he lies. If both fields have the same name, they will have the same content: type in one and it appears in the other.

  Hi Ravi,

  There is also another book autour to export the complete dashboard to PDF page. In the dashboard page goto Page Option--> Print--> printable PDF. This option will export all of the report as well as the guest of dashboard to PDF.

  I have a requirement where I need to create reports based on the survey questions and there are 6 tables and this survey Questions are repeated in all the tables in this 6 and assume overall, I created 70 reports based on this survey questions. And must I have to integrate all this 70 reports into single dashboard page, and within the hour I have to create radio 6 buttons each button will be the name of each table, how can I achieve this?
  
  The next Question is when we choose a no option box. reports should limit on the page and must view reports related only to this table?

  It feels kind of weird that you had created 70 separate analyses rather than a smaller number with a little more intelligent filtering.

  Anyway, you can do this by putting conditions on the sections on the dashboard page. According to your selections in the guests, this can hide and show the equivalent parts.

  That said, the page will be a nightmare, and you'll need 70 conditions, so don't think it will happen well. Maybe take a step back and think about whether you really need 70 separate analyses. If you do... good luck with the creation of this page, it shuold be fun.

  So, if it's for a dashboard and you really want to do it... it's easy.

  Don't forget that OBIEE is a Web application, this means that the front-end server is just a web page and the best way to define how something is visible (or how to hide) is CSS.

  Often, people think that JavaScript is the solution when ultimately, you do not want to disable the links etc, you want to just hide (if users do not see where to click to get the menu they will never be able to use the menu).

  So, using the developer of your browser toolbar if you inspect the code of the page and you discover that Oracle has been quite nice to assign an ID to the element where you can click and the menu, so all you need is a few lines of CSS:

  Can you have different guests on the same page of dashboard for different reports on the same columns. For example, my dashboard page has 2 reports and I need

  Invites different on each report. Each report is based on 2 diff, SA1 and SA2 themes.

  I build separate guests on generic columns like name and period of the invoice to the customer which are present in the two areas.

  Both areas contain few shirts of presentation with the same name, i.e. the customer, contract, invoice, etc. If I take columns with the same names,

  for example, 'customer name' or 'contract ID' of these records, I observed that the guests are applied to the two reports.

  It remains the same even if I create separate presentation variables in reports. OBIEE allows this feature to have

  different guests on columns with same name.

  This can be achieved using the Variable guests most frequently used guests from the column. There I created a variable and used presentation even in the filters in the analysis.

  Create a page with same guests (as in the homepage) and subreports and hide the page. In the column homepage main report gives the navigation to this dashboard page. On this page give columns requested and scope of the prompt in the dashboard. Hope it resolves your problem

  It may need some parens, as in:

  the pagename to (name of the aPage) value as string

  Although the 'as string' is redundant. But you can simplify your loop a bit, using something like:

  For Ex: Page dashboard "Overview". I want version 2, one of the managers with only the summary report, second page dashboard "Overview - analyst" for analysts, which shows the report summary and details.
  
  Is there a way I can generate a dashboard page 'Preview' and then 'copy' / ' save under "," Overview - analyst?

  GoTo Catalog manager (start-> all-> OBI-> Catalog Manager Pgms) in online mode.

  And open shared folder and create a new folder name as General - Presentation analyst within your Presentation file and then copy all the files in the Presentation file and in General - analyst Presentation.

  Now you can format the dashboard as you want.

• iBot - seeding of cache for dashboard pages

  I have a problem when I create an ibot for pages dashboard shared cache of seeds: the ibot works in 1 second and finished as completed successfully, but no cache file has been created... I saw nothing wrong / weird in the log file generated from a log file generated by an ibot that hides seeds properly. This problem appears only when I select a page in the subdirectory "layout of dashboard. In this subdirectory, it's pages of the dashboard shared, right?

  Not really.
  You can very well seed dashboard pages, but the trick is that you should select "Active delivery profile" or "Digital dashboard" added to the BI server as the destination cache when you create the Ibot for
  seeding of the dashboard Page.

  This is a known bug of Oracle, which is supposed to have corrected at 11.1... version given that exact.

  Sometimes the links of the dashboard in the dashboards page header are links to files that contain dashboards, that displays a drop-down list to select the specific dashboard when you click on it, while the other links are direct links to specific dashboards.
  
  Can someone tell me how to view the folder of dashboard in the dashboards page header when there are several dashboards in the folder?

  I think it depends on the groups. What you have in your interactive dashboards manage?
  Also, please check your presentation catalog. Ideally, you should see the structure of the dashboard there as well.

  In the plan view, you can right-click on a page and choose Page Properties. If you click on the Options tab, you can even uncheck as the Page name and then implicitly set the name of the file that will be built in html.

• Issue of rapid spread across multiple dashboard pages in a dashboard

  I have a problem of rapid spread in a dashboard, i.e. guests dashboard page of different using the same column of presentation layer then the guests take the filter value filters on the dashboard of each other. Even if I try to change the scope of each guest to dash for a dashboard page that value only spread to the next page of dashboard.

  I can't redevelop the whole dashboard, it will take a lot of effort, I implemented a solution for now, but I'm looking for some script code java I could invoke using the OnPageLoad event to clear and reset that all the page invites you to default values.

  Can you guys let me know if you have any java script like this.

  I found the question, the reports have been migrated to OBIEE 10 g long back. I have all redesigned reports and dashboard page only the value of the scope and reports work properly. Thanks for all your support guys.
