  The solution is given in my other post. Implement a valueChangeListener in your beans. In the listener method call an application module method that checks the new value that you get from the event. If the new value is already in the DB add a message of faces in the listener for changes in value and set the new value to the old value to avoid the false value is found in the user interface.

• Field validation extension background in Dreamweaver CS5?

  I'm doing a background inside a form field validation when you use Dreamweaver CS5. It is not strong enough to conduct "internal". I remember a validation named "Yaromat" behavior which is downloadable as one. MXP and installed using the extensions Manager and accessible via - maybe - one of the Group of experts ' + '.

  I'm looking around only to find available Yaromat behavior in the. ZXP and only for Creative Cloud Dreamweaver format.

  Am I right in my memories and, if yes, anyone know where I can find it?

  The Yaromat validator was created by Jaro von Flocken. It is out of date and is no longer available.

• Custom Custom Format AND Date text field label

  I have created a form where I wanted each form field to have a label so that the user knows what to connect, BUT when I arrived at this day it became clear that I can only do one or the other, enter a name or select a date format, because they are both under the same category selection and you can choose only one. I found a previous discussion and was able to use the following code to label all the text fields and he also mentioned that an additional coding would be required to customize the date:

  Yes, it is possible... Basically you would use something like this as the custom for the field validation script:

  The second question:

  My form works very well with spry validation.  Validation of date format for the date text box work, validation for the speaker select jobs.  My question is how to validate that the date is a valid date and speaker selection box is not empty if java is disabled?

  Where do I put this code? How do I call? How can I show that the field is in error?

  If you return to the solution I created for the date, you will see that the error messages are displayed by elseif clauses. You must do the same for the message of the speaker.

  can someone help me find some information about the default field validation?
  I tried to create a validation rule for the field ContactEmail in Contacts, when I was testing created expression, I discovered that some sort of validation rule is already implemented. When I entered e.g. "gggggg.gg @" in the Email field I got the answer "* obligatory valid email", but it is not an ERROR to my validation rule, so I guess there must be a default validation on this field rule.
  
  I would ask, where can I find some other information about these default rules and how do I put or change.

  The Siebel email format mask is ' % @%.» % ».

  It is applied by Siebel and you have no control of it. The rule is also enhanced during the data import.

• 0x8007000d the data is not valid when which a file name.

  I just got a new computer with Windows 7.  I transferred all my music to the new machine and have incountered a couple problems.  I use a program called winamp to play my music and that works very well; However windows media player does not recognize more than half of music tags that winamp is to see very well.  When I go into the file & try to update the information by adding an artist or track # I get the following error: 0x8007000d the data is not valid.  Also when I run Windows media player it sucks to the top of my processor speed b/c its continualy "downloading information for an unknown artist" is a brand new macine w / very few additional programs. I have a deck of cards, Winamp, and Windows.  I'm always EMU does not download toolbars.  Music is a big part of my computer, and it becomes very frustrating.  I don't want to install i-tunes!  Help

  I have a form I created a Date/time field that automatically fills when open.  I also have a reset button so users can reset the form empty.  I'm trying to figure out how to erase all of the data entered on the form and also to reset the date and time.  I could also have the set button to print the form and then erase all data and reset the date/time field?

  Figured it out.  Just need to set the value to the field calculated - read only and execution property: current Date/time

  What version are you on? 4.1 you can create validations of columns as a table and reference columns by using bind variables syntax, such as ": SPECIES.

Is there a way we can put a posting on the ground that it would throw an error message when a user tries to change this field?

  Of course, we can use the validation for this:

  Add this to the field Validation:

  PRE ('') = IfNull (FieldValue (''), "XXX")

  Replace FieldName with the actual field name.

  Best way to do is the following:

  -Open the PDF in Acrobat.

  -Go to tools - form - form more Options - export data.

  -Save form data in an XML file somewhere on your system.

  -Open the XML file in a plain text editor (I recommend Notepad ++).

  -Let's say you want to replace all the years in dates "2013" to '2014 '. Do a global search & replace '2013-' to '2014' - (I added the dashboard in order to ensure that only the date fields are changed).

  -Save the XML file (maybe under a new name).

  -Go back to the PDF file and now go to tools - forms - more form Options - import data.

  -Select the modified XML file and import it.

  -Fact!

  the date picker widget is active only if the date and time fields data format is set to date.

  Check the settings of fields in the binding tab.
