Date (RR, RRRR, YYYY)

Hello

If I don't TO_DATE('01-01-98','DD-MM-YYYY') why it becomes 1st January 98

Why this 00 before 98?

What you trying to do? The second parameter of the TO_DATE should be the format of the first parameter. Always use 4-digit.

    The string "04.1999' comes between the chains ' 01.2013' and ' 06.2013', because «04' comes from '01' year ' 06';»»» the rest of the channels are not relevant for this comparison.

    But what is TESTDATE? The first argument of TO_CHAR is supposed to be a DATE. If TESTDATE is a DATE, then you can say:

    testdate  BETWEEN  TO_DATE (:p7_startmonth, 'MM.YYYY')
           AND        TO_DATE (:p7_endmonth,   'MM.YYYY')

    Remember that the day of default of ringworm s 01, nd default schedules, minutes, and seconds are 00, so

    TO_DATE ('04.2013', 'Mm.YYYY')

    is midnight, April 1, 2013, i.e. the beginning of the month, you may need to l as a

    WHERE   testdate >= TO_DATE (:p7_startmonth, 'MM.YYYY')
    AND      testdate <  ADD_MONTHS ( TO_DATE (:p7_endmonth,   'MM.YYYY')
                                     , 1
                          )

    According to your values and your needs.

    I hope that answers your question.
    If not, post a small example of data (CREATE TABLE and only relevant columns, INSERT statements) for all of the tables involved and the results desired from these data.
    If you need parameters (like: p7_startmonth) in the problem, and then after a few sets of parameters, and the results you want for you same SAMPLES for each game.
    Explain, using specific examples, how you get these results from these data.
    Always say what version of Oracle you are using (for example, 11.2.0.2.0).

  • Of the 10 elements does not give the possibility to store the incoming images in a sequence of date (mm dd yyyy)

    I'm a long-time user elements (most of the versions since the first came out) and I got 10s of thousands of photos, for the most part stored by downloading my different cameras by elements.

    Now I have "improved" to 10 items and discover that he will not continue with the sequence of names of files that have been generated by previous versions.

    I've always downloaded my photos in subfolders generated by elements whose name yyyy mm dd format. It's the great comfort that these records sort in chronological order. I have them go back to 2002 01 24.

    Now, I have 10 items, and when I downloaded some new photos it by default for subfolders names that do not store in the sequence-(mm dd yyyy). So I went to options / card reader or the camera to correct this stupid fault. I looked in the drop-down list and there are many of which seem stupid choices, (why would anyone want a folder name which does not store in date order?), but not the one I want.

    It is a serious problem. Suppose I have disappear for two days and take pictures sur.30 Nov 2011 and December 1, 2011 (friends OK U.S., November 30, 2011 and December 1, 2011). 10 elements will store the first batch as one of the last records in 2022 (as well as the shots made on January 31, 2011, March 31, 2011, etc.). My second day shooting will be stored near the beginning of the year, as well as snapshots taken the day of the other months.

    It's crazy! -a bug that is absurd. But it does not seem so far have been fixed.

    Can someone tell me a way round? Or that there is a fix for this bug that I have not found? Or that it's not on someone else's machine (in this case, why he did not on my machine with Elements 9?)

    It's going to be extremely painful to have to hand - edit all future folder names so that they sort in sequence (and are compatible with my hundreds of existing records). I can't believe that Adobe would have done this deliberately, so I'm stumped. Help!

    Bought my copy of 10 items on Amazon UK - should be a matter of UK standard. My PC running Windows 7.

    Hello

    In the case where you are not aware about it, a fix is now available from Adobe.

  • problem with the type of date dd/mm/yyyy

    Hi all!
    I want to do something simple.
    to get a type of dd/mm/yyyy string and convert it ti date jj/mm/aaaa type.
    I wrote simple code
    String pattern = "dd/MM/yyyy";
    SimpleDateFormat format = new SimpleDateFormat (pattern);
    try {}
    Date = format.parse("12/03/2006");
    System.out.println (date);
    } catch (ParseException exception) e {}
    e.printStackTrace ();
    }

    but the problem that I get Sun Mar 12 00:00:00 GMT + 02:00 2006
    and I want to get this format dd/mm/yyyy.
    because I need to insert it in my db. Thank you all

    First thing: almost always if a SQL statement uses variable data, use a PreparedStatement. With the help of a simple statement can, at first, most obvious glance, but it will cause endless problems.

    The constant strings in SQL are "single quotes" i.e. apostrophes. They must at least cannot escape string constants. One of the reasons for always using class PreparedStatement is that you concatenate in a string value may contain an apostrophe. In this case it will be, at best, give your SQL syntax error. Worse it can make your system vulnerable to hackers.

    Use code publishing code tags. Put the word 'code' braces before and after. This makes your code readable.

    The field attribute by DEFAULT when you create a table must be a real date, not a model. I have never know this is useful for a date, except if it set to pick up the current date.

  • How to add a date dd-mm-yyyy field type in a form of planning data

    Hi John,.

    PLS, I have a question about the possibility of adding a date field type for example 03/03/2009 in a cell of planning data request form.

  • Date of issue - conversion to date and the date of conversion in months

    I have some data in a text file for SQLLDR from a SQL SERVER.

    In date columns are YYYY-MM-DD format eg-2011-01-03 00:00:00

    but in oracle, we use DD-MM-RRRR.

    Don't know why the SD and MM are get interchanged. Help, please.

    It's my for sqlldr control file:
    LOAD DATA
    INFILE 'F:\NV\Permits\SQLLDR\permits.txt'
    REPLACE
    INTO TABLE lot.p_permit
    FIELDS Terminated by "~" TRAILING NULLCOLS
    (
     CP_PermitID  "TRIM (:CP_PermitID)",
     CP_SubmitDate "to_date(to_date(substr(:CP_SubmitDate, 1,19),'RRRR-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS'),'DD-MM-RRRR')",
     CP_IssueDate "to_date(to_date(substr(:CP_IssueDate, 1,19),'RRRR-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS'),'DD-MM-RRRR')")

    You convert date to date. First TO_DATE

    TO_DATE (substr (: CP_IssueDate, 1.19), "DD-MM-RRRR HH24:MI:SS")

    Converts correctly 19 characters of the CP_IssueDate string to date. Now, look at what is happening with the other. To_date first argument is string. Since to_date (substr (: CP_IssueDate, 1.19), "DD-MM-RRRR HH24:MI:SS") are dates:

    TO_DATE (to_date (substr (: CP_SubmitDate, 1.19), 'DD-MM-RRRR HH24:MI:SS'), "DD-MM-RRRR")

    implicitly converts the to_date (substr (: CP_IssueDate, 1.19), "DD-MM-RRRR HH24:MI:SS") to a string using default date format, then converts it back to the date using the format "DD-MM-RRRR. Of course if the default date format is not "DD-MM-RRRR" you can either get an incorrect date or a mistake. In any case, use:

    LOAD DATA
    INFILE 'F:\NV\Permits\SQLLDR\permits.txt'
    REPLACE
    INTO TABLE lot.p_permit
    FIELDS Terminated by "~" TRAILING NULLCOLS
    (
     CP_PermitID  "TRIM (:CP_PermitID)",
     CP_SubmitDate "to_date(substr(:CP_SubmitDate,1,10),'YYYY-MM-DD')",
     CP_IssueDate "to_date(substr(:CP_IssueDate,1,10),'YYYY-MM-DD')"
    )

    Change to this

  • Value of the argument of the Add method must be a date or UsiTimeDisp.

    I am writing a code to allow users to define what to look for in the navigatro and then use the results for further analysis. But when I try to search by date of creation I get an error that says: "add the argument to the value of the method must be either a date or a USiTimeDisp. I have tried different methods to enter the dates (dd/mm/yyyy, mm.dd.yyyy etc) but none have worked.

    What is this error and how can I fix?

    The add method does not accept a string but only CDate or UsiTimeDisp.

    Creation usiTimeDisp

    protected cdateVal: cdateVal = now
    protected timedispVal: set timedispVal = createTime (year (cdateVal), month (cdateVal), day (cdateVal), (cdateVal) hour, minute (cdateVal), second (cdateVal))

    In this case, I started with a CDate I created using now.

    How to get a CDate from a string. Here, we encounter the problem of the locale.

    English: 22.08.1970 10:22:30

    German: 22/08/1970 10:22:30

    which is also reflected by converting a CDate chain.

    Option Explicit

    protected cdateVal: cdateVal = now
    Dim strVal: strVal = CStr (cdateVal)
    StrVal MsgBox
    protected cDateVal2: cDateVal2 = CDate (strVal)
    msgBox cDateVal2

    This code will work. It is capable of converting a CDate a CStr and then back into a CDate. This works if the string is formatted as expected by your locale.

    CDate ("22.08.1970 10:22:30")

    will work in Germany but fails in the United States.

    protected diademtimeVal: TTR = diademtimeVal ("22.08.1970 22:30","dd.mm.yyyy HH" ")
    protected timedispVal: set timedispVal = createTime (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0)
    timedispVal.SecondsFrom0000 = diademtimeVal

    you create a usitimedisp object using a fixed format string. This should resolve your request.

    I have a report template that I use frequently for data tracing files. At the top of the TOR, I have a main title text box that says "Daily Operation" usually followed by the date (entered manually) of this file.

    Q: How do I import/reference the value of the date of the file (photo #1 - black outline) in the text box (photo #2) I use to Date? I appreciate all help.

    Hi man of laboratory.

    Looks like you will need to use the RTT (-real time), which transforms the tiara time real number (fractions of a second from 0 AD) in a date/time string.  There is also a TTR function that goes the other way.

    @@RTT (ChD (1, "[1] / Date"), "" mm/dd/yyyy # hh:nn:ss.fff "') @.

    To do this I use liquid, make sure it is enable on your site, something as it does the job, maybe someone should check the syntax.

    How can I convert the format of date,-> "DD-MM-YYYY".

    Thanks for the help of You ' r

    Hello

    If you have a string str = 10 December 2013 08:41:53 ', you can call TO_DATE to create a DATE from it:

    To_date (str, "MM/DD/YYYY HH24:MI:SS")

    (Assuming that "12" is the month and '10' is the day).

    Once you have a DATE (let's call it dt), you can view it in any format you want using TO_CHAR:

    To_char (dt, "DD-MM-YYYY")

    If you wish, you can nest one of these functions inside each other, like this:

    SELECT TO_CHAR (TO_DATE (' DECEMBER 10, 2013 08:41:53 '))

    , "MM/DD/YYYY HH24:MI:SS.

    )

    'DD-MM-YYYY ".

    ), Exit

    DOUBLE;

    Output:

    OUTPUT
