dates changed our photos

We use the El X 10.11.5 captain

recently, we updated the software being offered bij Apple tot the new version of iLife

Subsequently, iPhoto was not longer working, and all of our 25 000 photos have been migrated to (imported in) Photos (1.5 V).

Unfortunately, most of the dates of the individual photos have been completely changed (f.i. 06/03/2015 instead of 02/05/2012). Because the dates of the photos has changed our about 1000 albums were converted by the software and unnecessary for us.

We are quite desperate

Please inform us how tot to undo changes

Kind regards

Laurens

Laurens, do you still have the original iPhoto library?

And have you tried to update to iPhoto 9.6.1 - this version will work on El Capitan.

You can update to iPhoto 9.6.1, if your iPhoto 11 library appears on the tab of the AppStore purchases. You can't update a version of disk install iLife to iPhoto, unfortunately.  Tip to see Barney:

Can't update iPhoto because it is not available in the App Store.

Unfortunately, most of the dates of the individual photos have been completely changed (f.i. 06/03/2015 instead of 02/05/2012). Because the dates of the photos has changed our about 1000 albums were converted by the software and unnecessary for us.

How did migrate the iPhoto photo library?  Capture dates, you see in the pictures should be the same as in iPhoto, unless the migration went wrong.

The correct way to migrate Photos iPhoto library is to drag it from the library on the Photos icon in the Dock. This is how you did it?

    Hello

When I try to transfer the images to my request for 'Photo' on my Macbook (OS X Yosemite) to a hard drive external, the dates and times of the images change.

I would like to transfer only some of my images on the hard drive, so I can't make time machine.

Is it possible to keep the dates and hours of original photos when copying them?

Thank you very much for your help!

Select the photos and export (menu, file == > export)-this will include the Photo with date and time metadata in EXIF/IPTC fields for use by any porgram Photo (you can check this by using Preview)-as you create new files file metadata will obviously be new but we can't change the photo metadata

  • Importing old photos in lightroom-date changed!

I'm trying to import old NEF files in Lightroom 4.4 and convert to DNG at the same time.  Previously it worked well.  A problem has developed a couple of days.  Rather than name the folder with the date, the photos were taken, the year has changed.  I don't know why he has changed, but the change has been consistent on several attempts.  The photograph were made in 2010.  Now when I import them, the date changes in 2011.  For example, a folder named "2010-18-05" changes to 2011-05-18.  The files in the folder also change the date of 2011.

    Any suggestion is welcome.

    hcheryl

Not really sure why his is going on, but have you tried the stand alone DNG Converter. You can batch convert a whole folder of raw images and then put in LR, using import > Add.

Download Windows (.exe file) click here DNG Converter 8.1

Download Mac (.dmg file) click here DNG Converter 8.1

  • My wife can not access our photos in windows photo gallery

My wife and I just bought a new computer with an operating system Windows vista Home premium.   We share this computer and we each have our own user account.  I imported photos from our digital camera in windows photo gallery and I can access and work with them, but my wife can't.  They do not appear on windows Photo Gallery program.  Our last computer had windows XP and we could both access our photos.

Y at - it an easy solution for this?  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

If the user who is unable to see the photos has an administrative account, you will be able to see the photos in the photo gallery by following these steps:

    Open Windows Photo Gallery
-Go to file, and then click Add folder to Gallery
    -Go to the computer--> Local C drive :--> users--> --> photos
    -Click OK

If the user is not an administrator account, you must grant them administrator privileges in the accounts

    To do this:
-Click on the start ORB, on Control Panel
-Click on continue if prompted by UAC
-Click on classic view at the top left and then open user accounts
-Click on manage another account if you logged in with a different administrative account
-Select the account and click on change account Type
-Change the administrator account, and then click on change account Type

  • When waking from sleep, the date changes to 2029

Sometimes when my computer wakes up from being asleep, the date changes until 2029.  The month and day are the same, but the changes of the year.  I then have to set manually the date, the automatically sync with windows server doesn't fix it.  Its really annoying because then my anti-virus thinks its out of date as well as the update of windows.  My internet browser also has security due to date problems.  I can not understand what causes the date change 2029!

    Hello Nevik09,

A possibility is that the CMOS battery is out. Did you replace the battery to determine if it could be a cause?

Also, take a look at this thread on Technet for another possible solution. http://social.technet.Microsoft.com/forums/en/w7itprogeneral/thread/9d180368-35ee-4334-9cce-cd2b2c7f1f2a

You can reset your date and original time by following these steps:

    > Select all the photos that you want to change the date of

    > Select Edit-> setting the Date and time of the selected items

    > Select - change Match the file date and time

  • I just upgraded to El Capitan.  Our photos are in both iPhoto and Aperture.  Is it possible to include both libraries in Photos (El Capitan)?

Our photos were in iPhoto and Aperture until the upgrade to El Capitan.  Photo and the opening are now gone.  Is it possible to include both of these libraries in Photos of El Capitan?  (When I added the second library of Photos, the first library disappeared.)

Use PowerPhotos or the library to iCloud to merge; If necessary, launch Photos with Option key button and choose another library.

  • X 360 HP spectrum: spectrum HP x 360 date change randomly

I am the only person to experience the date change randomly a couple days before?

I have reset several times and now time to update automatically off to see if it solves the problem.

My first experience with Windows 10, so really not clear as to whether it's an operating system or device (e.g. issue with the Bios battery).

    Other/causes, anyone?

Currently, as a configuration on delivery by HP...

Found an answer/solution here (incorporated in the first post). I already reset my date of Windows, but when I went into the BIOS, it was always made two days ahead. I have changed the date of the BIOS, and then downloaded and installed the BIOS update on the page of software and the driver to the address provided in the first post. So far, the date has not changed, but it was about 12 hours, so we'll see if it holds.

You may be able to transfer your gamertag to another ID Windows Live ID. If you are on a child's account, then you will need to contact the person who made the parent account to adjust your settings. See the link below on how to transfer your gamertag. If it does not my only suggestion would be to create a new Windows Live ID.
